"Are you?" I countered then I pushed him off of me when he didn't answer right away, "Of course you're not."

Taehyung chuckled, "What makes you think that? Mind sharing your thoughts with me?" He propped his head on his hand. He looked too cute like a puppy begging for attention.

"I don't mind but you might." I said, "My vocabulary doesn't really include nice words."

He smiled, "That's fine. I'm stoic."

"I think you have a mild case of defiant disorder." I deadpanned, earning a smile from him. Taehyung gestured for me to continue. "My mom is a psychiatrist so I know a lot of mental psycho-ish crap."

"Defiant disorder huh?" He cocked his head to the side, "Should I meet your mom then and have myself checked?"

"Maybe you'd like to meet my whole family too." was my sarcastic remark.

"Were you always so, what's the word.." Taehyung opened his phone, checking his dictionary for the perfect term. "Satiric."

I couldn't help but laugh. "That's all you need to know about me." I sent him a smile. Maybe I judged him too hard. "I think that's enough of getting to know each other. I need to get home before my mom gets back."

Taehyung accompanied me to the front door and opened it for me. I headed for the door but he stopped me, leaning against the door. "Dream of me tonight, sweetheart."

"Okay, we're done for today's rehearsal. Good job everyone!" Mr. Tanner said, he's our drama club facilitator and also the school's performing arts director.

I was on my way out of the dressing room when Regina, the bitch who wanted my part in the play stopped me.

"Some hot guy is looking for you at the back door." She said, giving me the stank eye when I went ahead to see who my visitor was.

"Hey." Taehyung was leaning against the wall when I found him.

"How did you know I'd be here?" I asked him.

He kicked himself off the wall and dug his hands inside his pocket, "I told you I did my homework on you."

"And?" I raised an eyebrow at him, "Why are you here?"

"Because I want to see you." Taehyung took his place behind me. I could feel him intimately close, "No need to get flustered."

"Don't get too ahead of yourself." I said nonchalantly, "I'm pretty sure I know how boys like you think."

He let out a laugh, "Truth is, I was bored and I was looking for someone to play with then I thought of you. I remembered that I have a girlfriend who'd be more than willing to play with me, isn't that right, Mara?"

"Not exactly." I deadpanned. "I have to do an indepth research on my role so, apparently, I can't play with you right now."

"Then I'll come with you. A date in the library?" Taehyung took my hand and started to walk. "Let's drop by my house first, I wanna change out of this shitty uniform."

Taehyung took his time changing into something. He definitely knew how to keep girls on his waiting list. My eyes wandered around the expanse of his single apartment which was not much to look at. It was tidy but it looked ran down at a few places. Then a random thought came, how many girls has he invited here?

"Done. Let's go." Taehyung cocked his head towards his front door, hands kept inside the pockets of his sweat pants.

"You're going out in those?" I scanned his clothes. I'm beginning to doubt this guy's fashion sense.

"Yeah." He replied, "What's wrong with my clothes?"

"You do know that it's boiling hot out there?"

"I know." He deadpanned, "I stick to my style." You laughed at his seriousness. How can he be like this?

"Why? Do you not wear panties when it's hot?" Taehyung raised an eyebrow at me. A smirk painting his lips. Fck. "I'll take that as a yes."

The library was not that far. We took the bus and it followed the same route to school but we hopped off a street away. Surprisingly, there were a lot of people.

"There's no vacant seat." I said as I continued to crane my neck around. Taehyung was closely behind me. "I'll just borrow some books and read it at home."

"Already found us a seat." Taehyung grabbed my wrist and headed to a couple of girls who were still in their uniform.

"Hi." He smiled to them. The girls looked at each other, unable to hide their smiles as they greeted him back.

"You guys were just leaving right?" Taehyung added, keeping the girls entertained with his smile.

"Taehyung! What are you doing? They were here first." I pulled on his arm to stop him from being rude to the girls.

"No, it's fine." One of the girls said. "We were really just leaving when you arrived." She was talking to me but her eyes were on Taehyung.

"Take care on your way out." He said to the poor girls.

"That was not nice." I told him as I took my seat.

"I had no intentions of being nice." He said nonchalantly, before unwrapping the lollipop that he took out from his pocket, "Want one?"

"Do you have to watch me like that?" I asked Taehyung because he has been staring at me for the last hour.

"Am I distracting you?" He popped the lollipop out of his mouth.

"Yes." I answered as I busied myself with the reading material.

"Good." He smiled. I can see his mouth curving up playfully from my peripheral vision. "Do I make you nervous, Mara?"

"Do you never shut up?" I countered, "Listen Taehyung, your moves won't work on me so you might as well give up now."

"Taehyung?" My head snapped up to the pretty girl behind Taehyung. "Oh My God it is you! What is Tae Tae doing in the library?" She pouted and began to talk to him like an infant. Gross.

I could only watch and be disgusted when she bent over, literally grinding her breasts against Taehyung. I shouldn't care. She talked close to his ears and roamed her hands across his chest, completely ignoring me. "Wanna get out of here? You know it's been awhile since we hung out. Lucky for you, I have nothing else to do this afternoon. Maybe we could find some place quiet—"

"Heather, I'm with my girlfriend." Taehyung pushed her hands away from him before they could explore other parts of his body.

The girl diverted her eyes at me as she straightened up, "Oh, so you have a new girlfriend now?" She smiled innocently, "Then I should go.." Her eyes met with Taehyung's and I could tell that there were unspoken words between them. "Call me. Anytime."

She turned her back and left us, her hips swaying provocatively, making the group of eyes from the next table follow after her. Taehyung didn't speak after she left. I didn't need to guess about what kind of relationship they have. It was too obvious. Taehyung was screwing her of course.

"Who was that?" After she was gone, I asked Taehyung.

He was preoccupied with a game on his phone that he didn't even look up at me when he answered, "Just some girl I sleep with when Bethany dumped me."

"So how long have you been sleeping around with her?" I questioned again.

"I don't know, five months?" He replied briefly, "I found out that I wasn't the only one who she was sleeping with at that time so I stopped seeing her. I hate sharing."

"It's unhygienic." I added, making him look up at me and smirk.

Being the better person between the two of us, well, I like to think that I'm the better person in this pretend relationship. I tried not to be judgmental because he is a troubled teenager and he needs help. I was satisfied with the first hand information I got so I returned to reading my book.

Taehyung placed his phone on the table and began watching me again, "Why did you ask about her? Were you curious? It's about time you start acting like my girlfriend."

"Yeah, you wouldn't want that for yourself cause if I was your real girlfriend and I saw that bitch rubbing her incredibly nice rack at your face, you will be on the floor in a fetal position because I will slap you hard and make you want to go back to your momma's womb." I gave him a smile and returned to my book.

Taehyung let out a laugh, "You know you're the only one keeping entertained in this boring library."

I glanced at my watch, "I know baby. I would love to keep you entertained but I'm afraid I need to go home now."

"It's still early." He checked his watch.

"My mom has her own definition of early." I said, quoting the word and making him smile again.

What is wrong with his face? Why does he need to smile every time and make me think he's beautiful? Damn it.

I returned the books I borrowed and we headed out of the library. We do not look like a couple by the way. Surprisingly, he looked good in his sweatsuit while I looked like a total virgin in my catholic school uniform. Well, I am, but I know some stuff so that makes me less of a virgin. I guess.

"See you tomorrow. I will definitely see you." He said as he went the other way.

I caught his hand and he looked surprised for a second, "Where do you think you're going?"

"Uh, home?"

"Uh, no you're not." I gave him my bag and flashed him a grin, "You're walking me home."
