| mara's point of view

"I'm not falling for the same trick again if that's what you're thinking." I said before I start to march away.

"Where are you going?" Jimin yelled after me.

"I'm going back to the villa." I didn't look back and just continued o trudge through the thick, ankle high grass.

"You don't know the way back." He replied, "I'm your only chance of getting back."

I could see his little arrogant smirk in my head. Damn it. I stopped on my tracks, my eyes widened at the feeling of something under my foot. I let my gaze drop and saw a metal thing buried underneath the ground.

"Jimin?" I turned to face him, fear slowly painting my face.

"What?" He smiled, "You finally admit that you need me, babe?" He said before walking in my direction.

"Don't come near me!" I panicked, keeping my foot frozen as much as possible so I won't trigger it. "I-I think I stepped on a landmine."

He snorted, laughing hysterically by himself, "A landmine? Are you that desperate? Fine. I'll help you get back if that's what you want." He then took two steps towards me while still smiling to himself, "God you are really funny."

"No stop!" He froze. "I'm serious. I stepped on a landmine. Don't come close or we'll both explode."

"How can there be a land- Oh.." Jimin's smile disappeared, "I didn't think it was true."

"What is true?" I asked him as I swallow my tears, trying to hold them back.

His eyes met my watery ones, "They said this place used to be a guerilla camp of some sort."

"And you're only telling me that now?!" My heart was pounding inside my chest and blood rushing to my face. My eyes were beginning to get teary. "Why the hell am I going to die this way? I don't deserve this. I refuse to die here."

"Relax. You're not going to die, babe." Jimin walked up behind me and placed his hands on my waist. "Lift your foot up."

"Are you crazy!? We'll die!" I told him but he wasn't listening to me. Jimin pushed my foot hastily off the mine and replaced it with his. "What are you doing?"

"You said you didn't want to die. I can die for you." Jimin flashed me a smile. Is he fucking serious? I thought he was smart. "Just promise me one thing.. That if I survive this, you're going on a date with me for one whole day."

"No way!" I tried pushing his foot off the mine and placing my foot instead, "Move! I'm ready to die now."

"Do you mean that?" Jimin asked, wiping a tear from my cheek. "If you really meant it then why are you crying?"

"Fuck no! I'm not ready to die!" I slumped down on the ground, loosing the strength in my legs, "But I just can't let you die for me."

Jimin crouched down to my level, staring at my face, "So are you saying that you're going on a date with me?"

"Is that all you think about in that minute brain of yours?" I sent him a glare but he just laughed me off, "Okay, fine! I'll go on a date with you but it's not like we're going to survive this."

"You're too pessimistic." He stood up and lifted his foot away from the landmine. "Oh look, I didn't die. Looks like I got myself a date."

"What the- you planned this, didn't you??"

"I don't know what you're talking about." Jimin shrugged his shoulders and smiled.

I threw punches at his chest, "I hate you-"

Jimin pulled on my arm, his mouth crashed on mine. I tried pushing him off with all of my strength but he was clearly too strong for me to fight off. His hand tightly wrapped on my waist while his other hand gripped at my hair. He pulled my hair back and bit my lip, looking straight into my eyes. Park Jimin. I closed my eyes and just felt him doing things to me. I don't want to say that I'm liking it but I am. With one last longing kiss, Jimin broke the kiss.

Jimin softly brushed his thumb along my swollen red lips. "Bet you've never been kissed like that before."

"Fuck you." I slapped his hand away from my face and pushed him, "Don't ever come near me again or I swear I'll hit you."

"You're so damn hot when you're angry." Jimin smirked, "That kinda turns me on."

"Ew! No, that's just gross." I retorted, "Please for the world's sake. Go home and get yourself some manners."

Jimin suddenly caught my wrist when I was busy shaking the disgusting thoughts he implanted in my mind. "Don't forget our deal. Starting tomorrow, you're going to be my girlfriend."

"Wake up, sleepyhead."

The sun was up by the beach and the sunlight was bright as fuck and it was burning my eyes. I squinted my eyes in an attempt to protect my pupils from being blasted by the morning light. On my side, by the head of the bed, Taehyung sat.

"Mara." He chimed, tickling my ear with a feather.

"Get that thing away from me." I groaned and shifted in bed, my back facing Taehyung.

"Mara, get up. You have to eat breakfast. You already skipped your dinner last night." Taehyung insisted, pulling my blanket off.

"Leave me alone, mom." I retorted.

"Mom?" He raised a questioning eyebrow, "I'm not your mom. I'm your daddy." Taehyung smirked and I almost hit him with a pillow. "Are you getting up or do you want daddy to feed you?"

"That's sick." I sat up straight, rubbing my temples.

"What? You're sick and you want daddy to come in bed with you?" He climbed on top of me and eyed my sheer night shirt, "Daddy's going to make you feel so much better-OW!"

"Why did you hit me?"

"Because you're being a horndog, Taehyung." I said, covering myself with a pillow as I head to the bathroom. "Can you pass me a shirt?"

"Here." I opened the door slightly and got the shirt from him. When I was all covered up, I walked out and found Taehyung playing with my phone.

"Why is Jimin calling you?" His eyebrows formed a bridge.

"Because starting today, I'm his girlfriend. The deal, remember?" I took my phone from him. "I need to finish this."

"I told you I'll handle this. Don't come to him." Taehyung said.

"It's okay. You can protect me while I'm with him, right?"

"Yeah but.. I can't always be there." He added, "Please just stay away from him. It's safer."

I took his hand in mine, "Taehyung, I know what I'm doing. You don't have to protect me from Jimin. I can handle myself."

"All this for Suga? Is it worth it?" He looked into my eyes, searching for the real reason. "Mara, why are you still doing this?"

"I don't know." I answered truthfully. "I want to stop but I don't even know how I'll get myself out of this."

"Break up with Jimin. End everything once and for all. It's all just a stupid game anyway." Taehyung took my hand and persuaded me again, "You don't deserve this."

"Okay. I'll talk to Jimin."

"Hey guys." I sat down on the table across Jimin.

"Goodmorning." He greeted me first and I smiled at him.

"What's with you two eye fucking each other?" Namjoon asked as he took a seat beside Jimin. "Oh and Jimin, the girls were looking for you yesterday. Where the hell did you disappear to?"

I choked on a piece of egg. Hoseok immediately patted my back and Jungkook got me a glass of water. "I'm fine." I managed to speak after flushing the chunk of egg down my throat.

"I'm going lowkey for now." Jimin replied to Namjoon. The guys thought he was joking.

"Dude, you? Going lowkey? What happened? Do you have HIV or something?" Jin laughed.

"No. I got a girlfriend." He met my eyes, biting his fork between his teeth.

"That's what I just said. HIV." Jin added.

"Mara's going to be my girlfriend for awhile. That okay with you, Taehyung?" Jimin shifted his gaze behind me.

I glanced behind my back and Taehyung was just standing there. "I respect Mara's choice and I trust her."

"Trust? That's a new word in your dictionary." Jimin smiled.

"Jimin stop." I said. "We've talked about this. You're not picking a fight with anyone."

"I wasn't picking a fight." He defended. "Just not used to Taehyung's choice of words. That's all."

"Where's Yoongi? Did you call him to breakfast?" Jin asked, shifting the subject.

"He's still asleep." Hoseok said.

"When is he ever awake?" Namjoon added.

"I'll call him. I'm done eating anyway." I set my utensils down and stood up.

"You're not going to do that." Jimin caught my arm, "You're not going to knock on another man's door. I don't like it."

"Aren't you getting a bit too into it?" I raised my eyebrows at him. He let my go of my arm and smiled.

"Why not? We already kissed yesterday." The room went quiet. I can feel my face going numb like my whole body was soaked in ice.

"You owe me ten dollars." Namjoon told Jin.

Without notice, Taehyung stood up and walked out. Jungkook was silent all throughout. "I should chase after Taehyung. I should explain."

"Explain what?" Jimin asked, "He knew about the deal. Why would you need to explain to him?" He added, taking my hand. "Everybody knows about the deal but he's the only one being a bitch about it, right Jungkook?"

"I'll follow Taehyung and talk to him." Jungkook spoke. He avoided my gaze. "I'll talk to him." He went the same way as Taehyung. His back disappeared behind the door.

Why do I feel all this guilt?

"Yah, Jungkook! No matter what Taehyung say to you. Don't fight, okay?" Hoseok shouted after him. Jin sent a mocking look at Hoseok. "What? They're still not in good terms."

Namjoon shook his head slowly, "Just eat your breakfast."
