I managed to drag Taehyung away from everyone, digging my feet on the gravel because he was putting quite a fight.

"No freaking way!" Taehyung exclaimed, arms crossed, conveying a closed stance. "I'm not talking to him. Non!"

"Did you just say no in French?" I squinted my eyes at him.

He flashed me smirked, his ego building up at my recognition, "I dated a French girl once. She said I sound sexy when I speak French."

"You know that doesn't count as speaking French, right?" I quoted and unquoted with my fingers, "You barely spoke a word."

"It does count when I'm the one who says it." My back came against the wall. His hand landed hand beside my head while he traced s finger along my jaw and lifted my chin up. "Would you like to hear me talk dirty in French?"

"Don't change the subject." I took his wrist and sent it down to his side.

"I prefer this subject compared to talking about Jungkook." Taehyung's gaze dropped on my lips, lingering for a second before going back up to look at my face. He began to make a move, leaning down slowly.

"What do you think you're doing?" I raised an eyebrow at him, keeping my fist down and away from his pretty boy face, "Get off of me while I can still keep my shit together."

Taehyung pushed himself away, taking a step back and turning his back on me, "I told you I don't want to talk to him. Why do you keep insisting on it?"

"Because it's not his fault."

"It's not our fault too!" Taehyung said. He was being unreasonable. "He has gone too far with his pranks."

"I know you're still mad at him and that you don't want to see him but just do it for me. Please." I looked him in the eye, his eyes softened when he met mine and his shoulders dropped, releasing a deep sigh.

"Fine. I'll try."

I flashed him a small smile, "Just try to talk without fighting."

"I said I'll try. I didn't say I'll make up with him. Don't go raising your expectations." He glowered.

"I'm not asking you to make up with him. Just talk." I added. "Jungkook is one of your bestfriends. Will you be fine with ignoring each other? I know I don't have the right to tell you this. I don't know a thing about you guys but it's hard to see the two of you ignoring each other because of me."

"Whatever. I just don't want you to expect something and get disappointed in me. I've had enough disappointments in my life." Taehyung said before he turned away and left.

The boys went down to the public beach. They're probably having the time of their lives right now, the prime of their youth as they excite themselves with unlimited summer tanned bikini clad babes. Boys. I could imagine their ears clapping in excitement right now.

I went around the villa, just strolling around by myself. Being alone gave me more time to think of what I should do, where I stand in this mess. It was so hard not having a person to talk all this about to. I haven't seen nor called my bestfriend in ages. Maybe I'm already replaced. I can't even remember the last time i had a friend to talk to.

I have made it back to the front garden of the villa, passing through a shortcut that I found just a second ago, but still making no progress. Jimin's family must really be rich because the size of this place was thrice the size of our house and he said it was the smallest out of all their properties.

"Why are you here and not on the beach?"

A voice came from above my head. I looked up to the veranda, shielding my eyes from the sunlight. The white curtains hanging beside the huge windows danced along with the wind. I squinted my eyes at the figure looming over me.  I realized that I was standing below his room.

Oh, just kill me now. I literally had to stop myself from mentally rolling my eyes when I saw his face. If I knew I'd end up here, I wouldn't have carelessly wandered off in the first place.

"See something you like?" Jimin smiled down at me, propping his forearms against the railing and flaunting his bare torso in broad daylight.

I snorted a laugh, "Look, I'm not thirteen. I'm way past the Edward Cullen phase of puberty so piss off."

"No need to get prissy, babe. I was just playing nice for a change. Being a jerk is getting a tad overrated, don't you think?" Jimin kept his smile but I knew that I hit a nerve in that fuckboy brain of his.

"Charming." I replied, sending a quick sarcastic smile at his direction.

"I could say the same to you." Jimin titled his head to his right, his eyes disappearing into an annoyingly cute smile. "Don't move."

Park Jimin disappeared inside his room while I did what he told me to do, do not move. It took him less than a minute to get down from his room and join me outside.

"What?" I crossed my arms as I give his smile the benefit of a doubt. "Is there something on my face?"

"Let's take a walk." Jimin led the way but I wasn't sure if I should follow him. Halfway through the driveway of the villa, he glanced back and realized that he was walking alone. "You coming or not?"

Five minutes later, the villa was no longer in sight, the sky was hidden by branches of tall trees. The path was slowly disappearing into wild grass but Jimin kept walking.

I wasn't afraid of insects but I hate seeing their long, spiky legs and their eerie eyes. Jimin stopped and waited for my slow ass to pick up the pace but my legs were not meant for this. I was practically dragging them behind me. We haven't seen anyone in the past fifteen minutes and the trees were getting more taller and spookier as we go on.

"You still good?" Jimin raised his eyebrows at me, seeing that I was not enjoying the walk.

"Just where in the world are you taking me?" I glared at him, slapping at my legs repeatedly, shooing tiny insects away. " Damn these mosquitoes are persistent."

My eyes widened when suddenly my feet were sweeped off from the ground and were into Jimin's arms.

"Whoa! Hey! Put me down!"

"Stay still or else I'll lose my balance and fall on top of you then we'll stare into each other's eyes and then I'll have to kiss you." Jimin said in the most serious face ever. I only looked at him, my eyes blinking and my mouth shut. "That sure shut you up." He smirked.

"For your information, I didn't shut up because you told me you'd kiss me. I would never, in a million years, dream of kissing you." I retorted.

Jimin's smirk only became more smug, "Whatever you say, princess." He then set his eyes straight and continued to walk.

I tried distracting myself in his arms, looking at anywhere but his face. My palms were sweating as I hold onto his neck.

"We're here." He announced. Finally. Jimin set my feet back on the ground.

"Why did you take me to an empty meadow?" I scanned the empty field, on the other end was a cliff.

"So we can be alone." Jimin turned to me, his eyes were blank and it kind of scared me. I looked behind me, contemplating on whether I should run back or not but the dark void from which we just came from was way more scarier than being alone with Jimin.

"Are you afraid that I might do something to you?" He smirked again. "Should I?"

"I'm going to crush your balls the minute you try anything on me." Was my counter attack.

He leaned his head back and laughed out loud. "This is why you're fun."

I raised a single eyebrow at him, "Fun?"

"Mhm." He smiled back. "Now don't take it the wrong way. I'm simply saying that I like you."

"Well, I don't need to repeat myself, right?"

"I know you don't like me." He went ahead and said it.

"I really don't." I gave him a smile.

"Then you wouldn't mind making an innocent bet with me?" Jimin had both of his brows raised, annoying smile re-surfacing again. "If I can't make you fall for me after a month, I'm going to grant you three wishes but if I make you fall for me instead, then you're going to do grant me a wish. I only need one wish.. So, what do you say?"

This feels strangely familiar. I was in the same situation with the same person before I got into this mess. Now I felt like I'm dipping my feet in quicksand again. Taehyung told me to stay away from him and maybe I wouldn't be here if I listened to him.
