"Yah! 바보! Come back here!" You yell as you run down the hall of school after your ridiculous best friend, Chan - or as you call him, Dino.

"Never!" He shouts back. You laugh at him and pick up the speed, closing in on him. He turns a corner and you turn after him, then bumping into something straight away. You fall to the ground, landing on your backside.

"Ouch." You mutter to yourself, standing up and brushing down your trousers (or skirt if you want).

You look up and see Dino, rooted to the spot, the headteacher standing in front of him.

"What do you think you are doing?!" They yell, making you flinch a bit, "Running around will not be tolerated in this building! Detention after school, for the both of you!"

They then storm away, leaving you and Dino frozen.

"Well," You say, poking him on the shoulder, "You're it."

He laughs and grips your wrist, pulling you both to your next lesson.

It was the end of school and you were just about to walk out of the school doors, until...

"Hey! Y/N!" You turn around and see Dino jogging up towards you, "We have detention."

You groan and he grabs you by the hand, leading you towards the detention room.

"You always have to ruin it." You say to him. He just laughs and keeps on dragging you through the halls.

You and Dino check in and the headmaster sits you both away from each other, locking you both in there.

You find a seat and settle down in it, looking at the now incredibly nervous Dino over at the other side of the classroom, fiddling with his fingers.

"Hey, Dino, what's up with you?" You ask, walking up to him and sitting in the seat beside him.

"Nothing really. Do you want to hang out at my place after this?" He questions you.

You nod and hug his side, "Yeah, sure."

You guys were like brother and sister. You would tell each other your deepest, darkest secrets. You were inseparable and no one would beg to differ.

You look up at him and see he was blushing furiously.

"Awh~! Does Chan have a crush on Y/N?" You coo, chuckling lightly. He looks at you wide eyed, his jaw dropping.

"뭐야?! 아-아니요!" He yells, his face turning a deeper shade of red, pushing you off of him. You fall to the ground with a loud thump, slightly saddened by the action he has just performed.

You just sat there in shock. He has never ever done anything to hurt you, not once, so you found this a bit...

Oh, what do you call it?

Hurtful.

"Aish, calm down. I was just joking..." You say, standing up straight and heading to the table at the back, where you were sat before.

"Y-Y/N?" He calls to you, "I'm sorry."

"It's okay." You mutter harshly under your breath, "I'm still coming over to your place though."

You see him smile in the corner of your eye, making you crack one too.

"I'm really sorry about pushing you. I-I overreacted..." He states, walking over to the table you were sat at and sat down in the chair next to you. He hesitates to put his arm around you but grabs all of the courage he could find and then drapes his arm around your shoulders, pulling you in closer to his body.

"Thank god you are coming around. I would be alone for the rest of the afternoon." He chuckles, resting his head on yours.

"Why did I have to fall for someone like you?" You mumble to yourself, snuggling in closer to him.

"뭐?"

"Oh, nothing!"

You chuckle under your breath and you feel him kiss your head lightly, making you blush and sending butterflies to your stomach.

Yeah, you had a crush on him. For a very long time.

You guys had been friends since the start of nursery and you were in the last year of high school. So, you had been friends with him for nearly...

13 years.

After detention, you called your parents and told them you were going to Dino's house. All they said was 'okay' and you were off.

After a while of walking, your feet suddenly get tired. You let out a groan of exhaustion, making Dino look at you in confusion.

"What's up?" He asks, stopping in his tracks.

"My feet hurt~." You whine, making him chuckle. He then bends down in front of you. A confused and amused look is then expressed on your face.

"Get on."

You smile, "I don't really have a choice, do I?"

He laughs and shakes his head, telling you 'no'. You jump onto his back and wrap your arms around his neck. You're very surprised at how strong he is. It was only a few months ago when he couldn't hold you up because he was so weak.

He carries you to his house all the way and gain some strange looks from people passing by you, making you hide your face in the crook of his neck, blushing.

You finally make it to his house and enter. His house is basically like your second home. You spend mostly half of your time in it, and you've become really comfortable here.

"Come play video games!" Dino demands, taking your hand in his and pulling you into his bedroom. His hand slips out of yours once you both enter his room and he leaps onto his bed, grabbing two controllers from the bedside table. You then join him on the bed and sit cross legged.

"What game are we gonna play?" You ask him, taking the controller that was being pointed towards you.

"Um..." He thinks for a while, "Mario Kart?"

You nod eagerly and clutch the remote in your hands, "Shouldn't we make it a bit more exciting though?"

"Okay then, the loser has to do a forfeit."

"Awh, but you always win!"

"Shush now. You might win, and I might go easy on you."

You scoff and look at the screen with has the Mario Kart logo on it.

He then loads up the game and you have soon picked your cars, characters, etc.

"Ready?" He asks competitively, looking you in the eye.

"Game on!" You yell.

"DAMNIT."

"I KNEW I WOULD WIN!"

"HEY, DON'T PUSH IT! YOU KEPT ON DISTRACTING ME."

"No I didn't."

"Yeah, you did."

"Didn't."

"Did."

"Didn't."

"Are we seriously this childish?"

"네, we are."

"Ah okay."

Dino had won. Again.

It wasn't really a surprise, as he wins all of the time.

You groan, remembering you had to do a forfeit.

"What's the forfeit then?" You ask, huffing in annoyance.

"You have to kiss me." He says confidently, a smirk playing on his lips.

"뭐?! Can't I do it on the cheek though?" You whine, doing your aegyo. He laughs and nods.

You then lean in to kiss his cheek but you feel a short gust of wind hit your face and something soft hitting your lips, causing butterflies to erupt in your stomach. Dino then pulls away, blushing and looking shell shocked. You had the same expression.

"I-I-I..." Dino stuttered, gaping like a fish.

"Why did you do that?" You mumble, furrowing you eyebrows. You weretrying to keep strong on the surface, but below, you were screaming with joy and happiness.

"I-I just felt like it was right to do so, but I get it if you don't feel the same. We have been friends for nearly 13 years, but..." He sighs and face plants onto the pillows, "I wik yo."

"Pardon?"

"I like you, arraseo?" He exclaims, sitting up directly in front of you. You gulp and nod, looking down. A smile then slowly creeps onto your lips, but when you look up, you see Dino on the verge of tears while looking down at his hands.

You cup his cheeks in your hands, "Dino? 미안해요. I should have told you this sooner, but I like you too."

He looks up, a lone tear trailing down his cheek.

You gasp, "Hey, hey. Don't cry."

"I thought you wouldn't like me back, so I worried."

You wipe the drop on his cheek with your thumb, then kissing his head, attempting to comfort him.

He smiles and chuckles a bit under his breath, "Would you... Like, be my girlfriend?"

You smile, "Of course, Dino."

He pulls you onto his lap and plays with your hair. It's so comforting that it send you to sleep, but before you fall into your slumber, you hear Dino whisper in your ear.

"I love you, 자기야."
