'Why do you look so stressed out?'

.   .   .

Dino's POV

I am on a plane to Y/C, hoping to not be seen by any fans that could possibly spot me. I'd tried my best to disguise myself before coming here, putting on my beanie, black face mask and circle-lensed glasses. It's worked so far, I just hope I'm not going to get tackled or harassed by fans throughout the next few weeks or so.

The reason why I was going to Y/C, is because I'm trying to come up with more ideas to use for our, Seventeen's, albums. I heard that country had a lot to offer, but I don't know if those quotes were correct or not. I hope they were.

Why am I coming alone again?

Your POV

"I wanna go home~." I groan to my friend, F/N, head-butting the desk in front of me.

They huff and roll their eyes, "Too bad, you're already here so just deal with it. And stop head-butting the desk, you'll hurt yourself."

As I was about to say something else to them, I hear the door open to the classroom. In walks the teacher, a bright smile on her face. I groan again, too tired to deal with her happy mood. F/N walks back to their desk at the front of the room, smirking at me as they saw the annoyed expression on my face.

"Good morning, class." The teacher chirps, making me groan AGAIN and unexpectedly catching her attention. "Oh, I'm sorry, Y/N. Is something wrong?"

"Yes." I reply, "I'm at school." The class chuckle and start whispering to their friends.

"Oh, too bad. You'll have to deal with it."

"That's exactly what F/N said." I grumble to myself, the voice of the teacher hurting my ears. It was too early to hear any loud or chirpy noises, even though I woke up ages ago. I'm still tired.

I stare out of the window, drifting into my own little dreamland. I day-dream of Seventeen, you know, the k-pop group? Yeah, them peopl- wait, those precious boys that I like a lot.

The teacher gathers all of the attention of the class, announcing something, "Any way, we have an exchange student that will be joining for a couple of weeks. He is called Chan Lee and he is originally from South Korea, so be nice to him if he doesn't understand some words." My head shoots up at the sound of the name.

'Could it be him?' I think to myself, my stomach dropping slightly.

A very familiar boy with dark hair walks into the classroom, a tense look on his face.

'It's him. Chan. Dino in Seventeen.' I think to myself, my eyes widening at the sight before me.

"Chan, you can sit next to Y/N at the back, just there. She knows Korean, so she can help you out." The teacher says to him, smiling kindly. Chan nods and makes his way over, looking at me straight in the eyes.

I blush unexpectedly, looking down at the table and covering my cheeks.

'I WANNA 다시 RUN RUN RUN AWAY FROM THIS PLACE RN, BUT I HAVE TO STAY BECAUSE DINO.'

"Hello." He speaks up, making me scream on the inside. I look at him, a shaky smile on my face. His accent is so cute, I can't- "I'm guessing, by what the teacher said, that your name is Y/N?"

I nod sheepishly, "Yes, that's me."

'WHAT ARE YOU DOING?! BE CONFIDENT FFS IWHBVJWDBV' I think to myself, wanting to slap myself so hard around the face.

"You can speak Korean?" He asks, the smile still on his face. I nod again at him, smiling back.

(ATTENTION PLEZ: ANYTHING HIGHLIGHTED IN BOLD IS SPOKEN IN KOREANNNNN(i would actually put it in Korean but some people don't really speak it fluently haha))

"You understand if I say..." He starts, "Hello, my name is Chan?"

"Yes, I understand you." I reply, feeling a bit more confident. He looks a bit shocked but it softens to a smile again. Gosh, this boy is so happy.

"Why did you come here? To visit relatives?" I question him, and his face immediately goes pale. He looks like he's debating with himself. Should I ask him if he's okay?

"Are you okay, D- Chan?"

He looks up and nods, "Yes, I'm fine."

"You don't have to tell me if you don't want to."

"Okay, lets talk about yourself."

I nod, "Sounds cool."

"How did you find out how to learn Korean?"

"My mum put me in language classes because there are people in this school that can't really understand our language." That is kind of a lie and kind of truth. I wanted to learn Korean because I want to go to South Korea sometime in the future.

"Ah okay, so most people speak Korean?"

I explain, "No, there are more Chinese students. There's only about 15 or 16 Korean students here."

"You can speak Chinese and Korean?"

"Yes, but Korean better."

"Ah okay, I get you. You're very good at speaking Korean."

"Thank you."

He smiles wider, looking forward at the front of the classroom. I look in the direction he's looking, seeing the teacher was explaining something boring. I sigh and rest my arms on the table, placing my head on top.

"Don't you like it?"

"Nope, I don't."

He just chuckles and copies my position, turning his head to look at me, "You look tired. Did you sleep well last night?"

"Yes, I slept well. I just hate waking up."

I hear him giggle softly, making me smile. We then look into each others eyes, never breaking our gaze.

'He's so handsome and kind and caring and uGH HELP ME.'

"You're cute." He says out of the blue, making a blush rise to my cheeks.

"T-Thank you."

'HE SAID I'M CUTE WTFAOVS-'

"So, what are you doing after school?"

"Hmm, I might just go home and eat, watch some movies, blah blah."

He nods, looking back up at the teacher.

'FRICK MY HEART IS BEATING SO FAST RIGHT NOW WTFFFF.'

He questions me, "Would you be able to show me around town a bit sometime?"

I look in his direction again, to see he was staring right at me, and making me blush, damn it.

I reply to him, "Yes, of course. Wanna hang out tonight? Straight after school?"

He nods eagerly with a smile on his face, sitting up in his chair.

.   .   .

I literally run out of the school and out of the gates, sighing in relief.

"FINALLY, I GET TO GO HOME, EAT, DO STUFF THAT ISN'T PRODUCTIV-"

"You're really loud, Y/N."

I look back to see Chan laughing with his backpack over his shoulders, making me chuckle with him.

"Yeah, I know."

"Shall we get going then?"

I nod, "Sure."

The walk to my house consists of talking about random stuff, joking around and talking about our music tastes.

We then enter my house after a few more minutes of walking, closing the door behind us.

I hear my mother say, "Y/N, is that you?"

'oh jisoos please no'

"RUN!" I whisper-yell to Chan, pushing him towards the stairs in a rush. He doesn't question me and sprints up the stairs, waiting at the top but out of sight.

"Yes, it's me."

She walks out of the sitting room into the hallway, smiling when she sees me, "Oh, it's been so boring today. Jackson hasn't made it any better."

Jackson is my golden retriever puppy, by the way, because of Got7's Jackson and his 'Wang Puppy' thing.

"Oh, that's too bad. Anyway, I would love to talk but I really have to go up and do my project, so if you could possible knock if you want to come in, that would be great. Thank you!" I said with rushed speech before swiftly running up the stairs. When I reach the top of the stairs, I see Chan sitting up against the wall, smiling up at me.

"Come on." I say to him, stretching out a hand for him to get up with. He takes it and I pull him up, standing up straight again.

I then remember...

ALl oF My SeVeNtEEn PoStERs!!11!!1!

"Wait right here. I'll be right back." I almost shout at him in panic. He just chuckles and nods, staying where he is standing. I thank him and run into my room, pulling down all of my posters that are Seventeen related and put them in my closet, locking it after. The only posters that are up are BTS, VIXX, Got7, B1A4, stuff like that. I'm trash for the boy groups.

I stick my head out from behind the door and look at Chan, who was standing in the same spot I left him in, looking at his surroundings. "You can come in now, Channie."

"Channie? Okay, cool."

.   .   .

He looks through my phone for music, as I gave him permission to do so. All we have been doing is messing around, dancing and getting to know each other a bit better. I already knew, like, a bit more than a quarter of him, but he has kind of opened up more to me about his life and everything. I feel somewhat special.

"You listen to Seventeen?" He asks his face blank. My heart stops, and I quickly recover.

"Yeah, I don't know who sings though. Like, I don't know what they look like, but I hear they're really attractive."

He blushes, a small smile on his face. I chuckle, "Why're you blushing?"

His head snaps and gazes into my eyes, a little embarrassed and shocked. He laughs anxiously, looking down at the bed. "No reason."

3 days later

"Chan, lets go to the park~." I suggest to the boy across the bed from me. He looks up from his phone and smiles, nodding his head. I stand up from the bed and pull Chan along with me, startling him a bit.

I slip on my shoes and he does too, letting me pull him out of the house. We both walk down the street together, me still holding his hand. I don't realise until Chan intertwines our fingers, making me blush. We both stare at each other, not knowing what to do. I turn my head away quickly, continuing to walk towards the park.

Both of us make it to the park after a while, and lead Chan straight to the bench I usually sit at when I come here.

I bring up a conversation about a random subject, making Chan laugh as we sit down on the bench.

As I'm talking, I look around at my surroundings, making random stories up by using everything around me.

What I don't notice is that Chan is staring at me, a soft smile on his face. He isn't listening to what I'm saying, just... staring.

I inhale and exhale heavily as I finish, looking over at Chan, who was still staring at me. He looks away at the trees with a blush on his cheeks.

I chuckle, "How much of our language do you know?"

Chan looks at me with excitement, beginning to sat random phrases, messing up a little sometimes. I correct him every time, which he thanks me for.

2 weeks later

Chan walks through the hallway of my house to the door turning around before he reaches it. He's leaving today and I'm actually devastated.

I have spent everyday with him and it didn't feel like he was an idol at all.

"Ready to go?" I ask him, smiling kindly. He shakes his head, which turns my smile into a frown.

"I don't want to leave you." Chan says, looking away immediately after realising what he had said.

I chuckle, "I wish you wouldn't leave as well, but you don't really have a choice, do you?" He shakes his head in reply, reaching out towards me and pulling me into his chest. I wrap my arms around him tightly, resting my head against his shoulder.

"I'll miss you so much, Y/N." He whispers, pulling his head back.

"I'll miss you, too." I mutter back with a forced smile, really wanting to cry that I may not be able to see him again. Tears were building up and I just scold myself for being so pathetic.

"Woah, hey hey. Don't cry! Please." He pleads, cupping my cheeks in his hands. My eyes widen, thoughts rushing through my head as we both stare into each others eyes.

He leans in quickly and presses his lips on mine. I'm in shock at first, not knowing what to do. I slowly wrap my arms around his neck, responding to the kiss.

I never wanted it to end; it felt really good. He pulls away, his eyes puffy with tears.

He whispers, almost inaudible, "I... love you."

I smile widely, hugging him again, "Chan, I love you, too."

He pulls away and says his final goodbye, pecking my lips once more before hesitantly letting go of my hand. He exits the house and I break down as I see him outside, wanting to go back inside my house but needing to go back to his home country.

It hurts to see him go. I had fell in love in just 2 weeks. And now he has gone.
