~Yumi~

Ever since that kidnapping attempt, I've been feeling eyes on me. Like someone is watching me. It had me locking myself in my room and staying close to Seokjin and his members. When Seokjin mentioned the incident, I changed the topic, desperate not to shine anymore light to my past. That was until we were out eating and I stepped out to talk to my boss.

As I stood outside talking on the phone, I saw a suspicious man leaning against the wall across from us. He immediately looked away and I just knew he was one of my father's men. Afraid for my sake as well as the others, I ended the call abruptly and rushed back.

Seokjin leaned down towards me as we were sitting in the van.

"What's wrong?" Seokjin asked me, voice all low and quiet.

I immediately looked over at the others and saw that they were in their own little world. Seeing Taehyung and Minseo all wrapped around each other as well as Seyeon all in Yoongi's space, arms around him, I turned my attention towards where Hoseok and Jiyeon were. Hoseok had his head against Jiyeon's shoulder, eyes closed.

"Are they... heading back to their own place?" I asked Seokjin.

He followed my gaze. "Hoseok and Jiyeon are, yeah. Minseo will be with us tomorrow so Taehyung's making her stay the night. As for Yoongi and Seyeon..." he trailed off. "Hey, are you two staying over with us?"

Yoongi glanced over and shook his head.

I bite my lower lip at this news before flicking my eyes towards the window. The man was not there anymore.

"Why? What's wrong?"

"Nothing," I mumbled.

Seokjin looked like he had more to say but instead, chose to keep quiet and turn his attention elsewhere.

I don't particularly have a bad feeling about this but it would still be better if everyone was to stay in one place tonight.

~Seokjin~

Seokjin knew something was up with Yumi. Every once in a while, she'd look outside their window. She thinks he hasn't notice it but he does. It made him wonder if someone is following them...

"Just sleep over tonight," Seokjin said to Hoseok and Jiyeon.

"Mm," Hoseok rubbed his eyes before turning to look at his wife and asking sleepily. "Do you mind?"

"I won't be a bother?" Jiyeon asked with a tense smile.

"Obviously not," Seokjin and Hoseok said at the same time.

Jiyeon smiled and then nodded at Hoseok. "Let's stay here tonight then."

"Oh! I want to stay here too!" Seyeon said, turning to Yoongi. "Can we? Can we?"

Yoongi groaned at that, turning his body to face the window, eyes still shut. "Fine, fine."

And just like Seokjin predicted, Yumi visibly relaxed.

Yeah, Seokjin thought to himself, Something's definitely up.

~Yumi~

My phone started ringing when we reached the dorms. I quickly put it on silent before walking out of the van with the rest of the members and the girls. Instinctively, I checked the area once more before following the others towards the door.

Thankfully, Jimin isn't with his girlfriend tonight. The last thing I want is for my father to expose his relationship to the whole world when they're not ready yet.

"Goodnight," Jimin murmured, making his way towards his room. "I'll see you all in the morning."

"Talk like you're going to sleep early anyways," Hoseok said, teasingly.

Jimin grinned and shrugged. "I'm tired tonight."

"He and Miyoung fought," Jungkook whispered. "That's why."

"Now, now," Namjoon slid an arm around Jungkook's shoulder. "Let's go to sleep and let these lovebirds to sing."

"Yeah," Jungkook agreed, giving me a knowing smile. "Wouldn't want to witness anything."

"Well, we're off too," Yoongi yawned, grabbing Seyeon's hand. "Come on, Tiny. Time to sleep."

"Bye! Good night!" Seyeon waved, smiling brightly like always. "Bye!"

"Get some sleep," Seokjin said, tousling Jiyeon's hair. "Sorry. I know you probably want some alone time with Hoseok."

Jiyeon shook her head, a shy smile on her lips. "I think I like it better when we're all together."

Hoseok smirked down at her, "You like it more when we're alone though, don't you?"

We all said goodnight to one another before walking towards our own separate rooms. Seokjin and I may have kissed but that doesn't mean things are better between us. We're still treating each other the same... just less hostile.

My phone vibrated in my hand and I looked down, seeing my father's name flashed on the screen. Again, I ignored it.

I felt Seokjin leaning over me as he peered at the screen, asking, "Who's calling?"

"N-no one."

"Your dad?"

I turned around and took in his annoyed expression as his eyes stayed on my phone. I said nothing, just waiting for him to say something. Maybe insult me? Maybe call me names? Tell me how much he hates me? Or maybe remind both of us why this thing between us can't work at all? But he did none of that.

"Why is he calling?"

"Maybe for some father and daughter quality time," I said with a sneer. "It doesn't matter. Anyways, I'm going to sleep."

Seokjin grabbed my arm when I turned to leave. His eyes raked me from head to toe before narrowing on me.

"Are you meeting him?"

"No."

"Do you talk to him?"

I stared at him. "No."

"Then why?"

I shrugged. "He's my father whether I like it or not. It's not like I can get rid of him anyways."

Seokjin watched me for a brief moment before asking in a quiet voice, "Do you want to?"

I felt my throat dry at that. "Do I what?"

"Want to get rid of him?"

I pulled my arm away from him with a short laugh. "Does it matter what I want?"

Without waiting for anything else, I quickly made my way towards my room, closing the door behind me. I didn't look back and because of that, I didn't see the suspicious and curious look from Seokjin as he mull over my relationship with my father... with the intent of finding out what I'm hiding.
