After getting dressed and brushing my teeth and hair I quickly called Cover to come and pick me up.

Lucas had already sent me his address so we can pick him up top.. now that I think about it, I don't think Cover and Lucas have hung out yet.

Lucas did complain about not having friends, maybe they'll get along.

I was standing in front of my full length mirror, deciding whether I should wear a jacket with my outfit or not.

I put down the first jacket I tried on and eyed my outfit by itself.

I bit my lip as I looked up and down my body, sighing at how flat I am in the chest area.

My eyes scanned to my hips and I noticed a scar right above my pants line. I pulled my shirt down but this shirt was lose and always shown a little bit of tummy.

I huffed, crossing my arms and grabbing a oversized sweater and slipping it on.

I heard a car horn come from outside and I instantly knew it was Cover. I opened my bedroom door and sprinted down the stairs until I reached the front door.

"Hey" I say opening the car door and sliding in next to her, putting my seatbelt on.

"Hey girl!" She replied back in a happy tone.

"Did you get the text I sent you?" I asked as she started the car.

"You mean Lucas's address? yeah I got it" she says typing in what I'm guessing is Lucas's adress into the GPS.

"I think you two will be great friends" I said while leaning against the window.

"If you like him, I'm sure I will too"

I smiled too myself as the car went silent. Cover has always been a great friend.

She actually helped me through my hard time, After the whole Marcus thing I met her and we instantly became friends, whether she knows it or not she made me happy when no one else could've at that time.

While I was deep in thought we arrived at Lucas's house. It was a simple house, white with a grey roof. The front yard had a trampoline near the edge of the yard, and I could see the outline of a cat sitting in the upstairs window.

Lucas's shortly after came rushing out the front door, wearing a navy blue sweater with a white collared shirt underneath, as for pants he was wearing some simple black jeans.

"Hey guys!" he said opening up the back seat door and taking a seat.

"Hey, I'm cover" Cover said from beside me, turning around in the seat to look Lucas up and down "Nice sweater".

"Oh.. Thanks!" He responded with a smile, while looking down at the sweater.

After they did basic introductions Cover started the car again and began driving.

We decided on going to the mall, because who doesn't like shopping?

When the big building came into view Cover quickly found a place to park and we all got out.

"Soo, which store first?" Lucas asked walking in the middle of me and Cover.

Cover looked over at me and then at Lucas "How about a shoe store?" she suggested.

"Sounds good to me" I smiled.

"I could use a new pare of shoes" Says Lucas looking down at his dirty converses.

"I kinda like your dirty converses" Cover said with a smirk.

Lucas crossed his arms "I have better shoes... these are just comfortable!"

I giggled at his childishness.

When we reached the big doors of the mall Lucas skipped ahead of me and Cover and opened the door for us "Ladys first" he said with a grin.

Cover rolled her eyes but walked in anyways.

"Thank you, Lucas" I smiled while walking in.

He shut the doors and ran a hand through his hair while walking next to us.

"I like your shoes by the way" Lucas said to Cover.

She looked down at her air force 1s that had daisy designs on them "Thank you" she smiled.

We walked into the shoe store and looked around a bit. The shoes in this store weren't really to my liking.

I walked over to where Lucas was browsing "See anything you like?" I asked him.

"I was thinking about getting a basic pare of vans" he said.

"How about these" I said pointing to a pare of checkered Van's that had a rainbow pattern on them.

"Yeah, I think those will do" he said with a smile, and leaned down to pick them up.

When he got both of the shoes we made our way over to Cover who was looking at a pare of boots.

"Guys, should I get these?" she asked holding up the boots. They where black and had a small high heel to it and really fluffy fur around the ankle.

"I think they're cute" I said with a shrug.

"You should definitely get them" Lucas said afterwards.

She stood up and we all went to buy them. "You're not getting any shoes?" Asked cover.

"I didn't find anything I liked" I shrugged.

"Oh well" Cover said putting her shoes in her bag.

"We should go to hot topic!" Lucas says slinging the plastic bag over his shoulder.

Cover looked at me and then to Lucas "Sounds great, let's go" Cover said while intertwining mine and her arms.

While we where walking Lucas looked back and at mine and Cover's arms. I giggles and then held my arm out for him to grab on.

He happily shuffled over and looped his arm with mine.

"So, how long have you two been friends?" Lucas asked referring to me and Cover.

"Since about 9th grade" Cover answered. "We were new to highschool and we had nobody, so we easily relied on each other".

I looked down and smiled about that small memory.

We walked into the hot topic store, The stores light music playing in the background.

"Hey, these are cute" Cover said pointing to a set of friendship necklaces that had the yin and yang sign.

"They're cute, I don't know if I would wear it though" I said looking down at it.

Cover sighed and leaned on my shoulder "You wouldn't wear anything I pick out" she groaned.

"Why don't we get matching rings? for the three of us" I suggested while looking over at Lucas, who seems to be distracted by the anime figurines.

"Lucas! come here, we're getting matching rings" I called him over.

He walked over to the small jewelry section we're at "Which one where you guys thinking about getting?" he asked, leaning over slightly to look closer at the rings.

"These are kinda cool" Cover said, pointing to a set of  rings that had a skull on the top and red jewels around it.

"They're kind of... dark" I point out, trying to find a word to describe them.

Cover rolled her eyes at my comment "Oh well, we're getting them and you're going to wear it" she said picking up the cardboard packaging that holds the rings.

I sighed and followed her to the cashier along with Lucas.

As soon as she gave the cashier the money she wasted no time ripping open the packaging and putting a ring on, and giving one to Lucas.

She turned to me with a raised eyebrow "Give me your hand" she said holding out her hand.

I sighed and put my hand in hers as she slid the ring onto my middle finger "There, looks great" she smiled.

"Woah guys! theres a really hot guy in the Spencer's over there" Lucas said referring to the store across from us.

"I didn't know you where into men" I say looking down at the ring.

"Oh please it was very obvio- Holy shit he is hot!" Cover practically yelled while walking over to Lucas.

I rolled my eyes "Not everything is about looks you know" I said not even paying attention to who exactly they where looking at.

"Come on De you gotta see this dude!" Cover said pulling me over to them.

When I spot who they where looking at my eyes widened "M-mason?" I mumbled under my breath.

"What?" Cover and Lucas asked simultaneously.

"N-nothing! Let's just go" I said in a rush while grabbing their arms and pulling them out of the hot topic store.

"Delaney?" I heard a familiar voice ask, only making me move my feet faster.

"Delaney!" I heard him yell a bit louder.

I looped my arms around Cover and Lucas's and walked as fast as I could "Oh my god, do you know him?" Lucas asked and Cover also looked at me with a very confused face.

"N-no! haha I don't know him!" I laughed nervously

"Delaney!!!" I heard Mason practically shout at the top of his lungs.

I felt two arms wrap around my waist and pull me up into the air, out of the arms of Cover and Lucas.

"M-Mason stop! I'm wearing a skirt" I say as I desperately hold my skirt down.

"Oh, right. sorry!" he said putting me back down on my feet.

"Didn't you hear me calling you?" He asked scratching the back of his head.

"...How could I not" I said quietly looking away.

Mason pinched each side of my cheeks "Then why would you ignore me my short little bean" he complained.

I looked back at Cover and Lucas who sat there staring at us dumbfounded.

"Oh, you brought friends" he said, finally noticing the two other people.

"Hello Delaney's friends, I'm Mason. Delaney's bestfriend" he said smiling at them.

"That role is already taken" cover said glaring at him and grabbing my hand, pulling me closer to her.

"Delaney, who is this man?" Cover asked me.

"This is... Soyers younger brother" I say looking between the three of them.

"Is that all you know me by?" Mason pouted while crossing his arms "And I thought we where friends!".

"O-of course we are!" I reassured him, patting his arm.

He slung his arm around my shoulder "Of course we are" he said, his whole attitude changing. "How about I treat you guys to some food?"

A/N: Hey guysss 🤠. Hopefully you aren't mad at me for not posting in a bit. I really have no excuse besides laziness and school work 😔.

On a different note, Who the hell was going to tell me I was spelling Soyer completely wrong! Apparently it's actually spelt Sawyer?!?!? Gahhhh I don't feel like going through all the chapters and changing it. We'll have to stick with Soy sauce 😩✋🏻
