Answering some of the questions I've gotten in my messages. If you have a question not answered here, send me a message and I'll add it.

Where did you get the inspiration for Seren?: I got the inspiration for this character mainly from my own life. A lot of her feelings are feelings that I've personally struggled with before. Also, I get sick of reading the stereotypical Wattpad girl. Not that there's anything wrong with that character, but it's like every other book on here is about the quiet girl who keeps to herself and is noticed by the popular/bad boy/mafia boss... etc etc. I read and love these stories but I yearned for something different. And I honestly have read a lot of books on Wattpad but have never read a character quite like Seren.

Why did you kill off Jax: I got a couple of these, and honestly I killed him off because originally I wanted him to get off with no consequences. I wasn't even going to write cop involvement at all. I wanted him to face no consequences because that's what real life feels like to me. My attacker faced no consequences... my friends attacker didn't... my other friends attacker didn't. I know so many women who have been sexually attacked yet I don't know a single one who's successfully been able to put their attacker in jail. But... after hearing some of my friends opinions that it would make for unsatisfactory read... I killed him instead 🤣

Will there be a continuation of this series: i don't think there will be anything in the future, but I just started a prequel to this book from Zane's POV. Also there is Austin's spin off- Trust Me, and you'll definitely see some Seren and Zane

How old are you?: I am 26

Did you know the plot before you wrote it: absolutely not. I had ideas of where I wanted to story to go, but I literally would write a lot of the chapters with absolutely no idea on where it was headed. I also wrote the chapters right before I posted them, and only read through once lol! Somethings that I didn't intend to write but somehow ended up doing was...

Jax being the rapist. I didn't plan that. I had intended it to be Tyler or Carter.

Seren becoming suicidal. I didn't intend for that at all, until literally I was writing the chapter that she's walking to Austin's.

Seren's dad was intended to be more involved and more of a good guy.

I did intended to write smut... but it didn't feel right.

I did intend to write more of a crossover between Cain and Seren, but again it didn't feel right.

I did intend for Austin and Seren to have more of a one sided intimate relationship but it didn't happen.

What book are you writing next?: I have no clue. I have three other books that are along the way. Chasing Sunsets, Won't Give Up and Remember Rose. None are really the same as this book but I have a horrible habit of writing beautiful girls with trauma as my main characters. I think the closest will be Won't Give Up and Lilac's Lies to the vibe of See Me.

Also, I feel another story brewing which will be similar to this story about a pretty sad girl who finds her self seeking the attention of a boy who's not good for her. Maybe the vibe will similar to Seren finding Austin instead of Zane, but obviously a whole different plot and personalities. Follow me if you want to be updated about that, should come out in the next couple days.

How did you write this book so quickly: I wrote the majority of this book in less than 30 days and it is because I was deep inside a manic episode and I'm still riding that high so 🤣 but really, this story poured out of me really easily because I think it was a story worth telling and I felt it in my soul.

Is this your first book: I started all my books within the same week, and I think Chasing Sunsets was first, but yes this is my first book that I've devoted my time to completing. This was my first attempt at writing anything.

Why was Seren the only girl character (besides Olivia, Trinity and Cassidy who don't add to the story much.): I had intended to write Trinity and Olivia as more important characters but I think I didn't because it added to Seren feeling so alone.
