SEVENTEEN
LILAH

"I hate food shopping." Ollie whines next to me as I push the trolley down the confectionery aisle.

"But you barely have any food in your house, how can you live without food?" I raise my eyebrows as I turn to face him — but I end up rolling my eyes when I see his eyes fixated on my bum. "Ollie."

His eyes shoot up to mine and he gives me a sheepish smile.

"You're really beautiful." He shrugs and then begins to push the trolley for me.

As we continue our food shop, I continue to ramble to Ollie about the most random things. However, I soon come to a stop when I realise I am now rambling to myself.

Ollie has stopped.

I turn back to look at him. He's stood in shock, his eyes wide.

I look around but there's no-one there.

"Ollie?" I look up to him and reach up to stroke his face. He looks down at me, his plump lips slightly parted. "You okay, baby?"

His face softens and he bites his lip.

He leans further into my touch, placing a kiss on the palm of my hand.

"I'm fine." He whispers, trying to give me a reassuring smile but I'm not buying it.

He's clearly seen something or someone that has put him in a state of shock.

"You can talk to me." I reassure him and he releases a shaky breath.

"N-Not here, when we get home." I nod my head, just happy that he is ready to open up to me.

He grabs my hand and through out the rest of the shopping trip he doesn't let go of it. Even when he's driving. I try to pull my hand out of his so it's easier for him to change gears but he only tightens his hold, so eventually I give up.

"I have an ex-wife."

Wow.

I was not expecting that.

I slowly nod my head at the newly found information. Ollie rests his head on my lap and I stroke his hair as he begins to explain to me what's been bothering him.

"Like you, it was an arranged marriage. She didn't love me and I definitely did not love her. The contract was for two years, her father and my father were friends. Her father was struggling with his business so my father thought that the best idea would be for me to marry his daughter." I bite my lip as Ollie tells me about his past.

Sounds very familiar.

"I was twenty-three and she was twenty-seven. I-I, I didn't want to sleep with her, Lilah but she — but she —" My heart drops and my eyes begin to water because I know what he's implying. "She wanted a baby."

"Ollie, I'm so sorry." My voice breaks as he looks up at me with vulnerable eyes. "You don't need to go into detail, I get it."

"I have a son, Lilah and she won't let me see him. I saw them in the supermarket, they were leaving — it was the first time I had seen him in over a year." Ollie sits up and I instantly pull him into a tight hug. "She's placing a restraining order on me because I want to see my son."

My eyes widen.

What a bitch!

He has a son.

Ollie has a son.

"How old is your son?" I tilt my head at him and he smiles gently.

"He's just turned four. I sent a gift to their home and I guess this is one of the reasons why she's placing a restraining order on me. Claims I'm harassing." He sighs and then unlocks his phone to show me a picture of him holding a small child that looks a lot like him.

"His name is Greyson." He looks at the picture with so much pride that my heart almost bursts.

"He's so cute." I grin and Ollie nods his head, locking his phone and then laying his head back down onto my lap.

"I miss him a lot. My uncle is trying to help me be able to see him, but it's difficult." He explains to me, while grabbing my hand and placing it on top of his head.

I playfully roll my eyes and begin to stroke his hair.

"I'll help you. I mean you want to help me with my situation so maybe we can help each other." I offer and he smiles gently, lightly nodding his head.

"Thank you, baby." My body warms and I nod. "You're not mad that I didn't tell you?"

"I'm not mad. You weren't ready to tell me and that's fine. We're not in a situation where we need to tell each other every single detail, but I appreciate you for opening up." I say, leaning down to kiss his forehead.

A squeal escapes my lips when he sits up and then pins me down onto the sofa. He begins to place kisses up and down my neck, making me release a small moan.

My phone begins to ring and I blindly search around for it. I look at the caller ID and my eyes widen when I see that it is Dale.

"It's Dale." My eyes widen. "I need to answer, Ollie." I whisper breathlessly as his hands trail further down my body until they're skimming the waistband of my underwear.

"Then answer it." He smiles against my neck and I furrow my eyebrows. "I'll stop."

I answer the phone.

Ollie continues.

"Dale!" I cough, trying to cover up the moan that escapes my lips from Ollie sliding his fingers into my pussy.

"Lilah, where are you?" I frown in confusion.

"What do you mean? I'm at home." I nibble on my lip as Ollie begins to finger me harder.

"Did you not see my fucking message, Lilah?" A gasp escapes my lips but not from missing a text message from Dale but the sloppy kisses Ollie begins to place on the base of my neck.

"What message?"

"I'm at the airport."

Cold water is thrown all over me and I hop off from Ollie's lap.

"W-What?" I begin to stress.

"I messaged you to come pick me up from the airport." I look at Ollie with a frown.

Dale shouldn't be home yet.
