NINE
LILAH

I stir awake and release a small stretch but soon freeze when I feel quite a heavy weight on top of me.

I look down to see Ollie laying right on top of me. My eyes widen.

He's fast asleep. Small snores escaping his plump lips. His arms are wrapped tightly around my body and I go to move but they tighten, a small groan coming out of his mouth.

I hold back my giggle and try again to get out of his tight hold.

"No, Lilah." He whines.

"Ollie." I laugh and I squeal when he rolls over, pulling me on top of him.

"Sleep." He mumbles and my eyes widen when he actually falls back asleep.

"Ollie, you're really heavy." I whine and he shoots up looking up at me with wide eyes.

"Did you just call me fat, beautiful? This is all muscle." He playfully pouts, flexing his arms and I roll my eyes. "So what are we doing today?"

"What do you mean?" I rub my eyes and then look at him to see him still pouting — his big brown eyes staring at me. "Do you not have work? That is why we're all here right."

"Lilah, I'm the boss. I can do whatever I like." He then grabs my hand and puts it on his head — I furrow my eyebrows at him.

"What?"

"Stroke my hair, please." He smiles and I can't help but laugh. I begin to stroke his hair and watch as his eyes flutter closed. "That feels good." He moans and I pause.

Why does he have to be so hot?!

"Why'd you stop?" He looks up and I quickly go back to stroking his hair. "You didn't answer my first question." He whispers.

"Well I don't know. I should probably go back and speak to Dale." Ollie huffs at my words.

"Alright, let me get ready and I'll walk you back to your room." My eyes widen.

"Ollie, you can't walk back with me. Dale won't be happy about that, I think it's best he doesn't find out that I slept in the same bed as his boss." I try and reason with the man but he's already out of bed and getting ready. "Ollie."

"I heard you, beautiful." He says and I sigh, sitting on the edge of the bed.

"Please, Ollie. Dale really won't be happy." I whisper and his back tenses before he turns to look at me.

"Does he hit you?" He walks over to me and then crouches down.

"No." I shake my head.

It is the truth. All though there have been many occasions where I thought Dale would hit me, he hasn't.

"You better be telling the truth, Lilah, because if he hurts you then I will most definitely hurt him." He grabs hold of my hands and I smile gently. "Spend the day with me again." He whispers and I find myself caving in to this man yet again.

It's like he's got special powers.

"Okay, but we can't go out in public." I reason with him and he nods his head.

"That's fine. We can stay in my room, I've got a private pool outside." He winks and I bite my lip.

"Okay. I'll go back to my room and just make up an excuse for Dale." Ollie nods his head and then pouts his lip. "Ollie."

"Kiss." He smirks and I lean up and kiss him on the lips.

Fuck, I really shouldn't be doing this.

"Where did you stay?" Dale questions me when I walk out of the bathroom from my shower — I scoff.

"Why do you care?" I retort.

"I shouldn't of kicked you out the room. I'm sorry." He tells me and I shrug, looking around for my phone.

I pull back the duvet cover but freeze when I see a hairband that is definitely not for my hair colour.

I pick up the light brown hairband that has strands of light brown hair tangled around it.

"What's that?" He questions behind me and I raise my eyebrows.

"You tell me, because you know full well this isn't mine." I throw the hairband on the floor.

"I don't know what you're accusing me of but you should stop. Now before we have an argument, I'm leaving." He leaves the room so abruptly my mouth is left wide open.

There's no way I'm sleeping in that bed again. Especially when I know another woman has been in it.

I want out of this marriage, I really do but I can't.

I'm tired.

Ollie opens the door and his eyes widen when he sees my distressed state.

"What's wrong, beautiful?!" He gently pulls me in to his room, taking my overnight bag before pulling me  into a tight hug.

"I-I had my suspicions about him cheating and I went back to the room and I know it sounds dramatic but I saw a hairband and it definitely wasn't mine." I whimper and his arms tighten around mine.

"Then leave him. It's obvious he's cheating." Ollie pleads, grabbing hold of my face and staring down at me with warm eyes.

"I can't a-and I'm not any better." I whisper. "W-We're in an arranged marriage and I can't leave for another three years." I blurt out and Ollie staggers back and looks at me in shock.

"You're fucking with me right?" I shake my head. "We'll get you out."

"Ollie-"

"I'll help you. This isn't right, I'll help you get out of this marriage." He rushes out.

"Ollie-"

"You deserve the world and that piece of shit is too blind to see it!"

"My husband-"

"Forget your fucking husband because as harsh as it sounds, baby, he's very much forgotten about you." My face morphs into shock at Ollie's outburst.

The once shy man adjusts the glasses on his face and looks away from me — a small blush etching onto his cheeks.

"Why can't you just leave him and be with me?" He whispers, looking back at me with his beautiful brown eyes.

I gulp.
