Isabella's POV

I gasped in shock and rushed towards Alessandro who was laying on the floor.

"Don't!" I stopped reflectively as my father demanded.

"Dad..."

"We will talk when we are alone." My father stated as he gave me an intimidating look. "Put on your clothes! We are leaving." He commanded in an authoritarian tone.

"No! She isn't coming anywhere." Alessandro intervened as he wiped the blood off his lips.

When my father wanted to hit him again, my mother grabbed my father's arm tightly, stopping him and gave him a begging look, shaking her head.

I approached Alessandro and helped him to stand up. I pulled my hand away as Alessandro wanted to hold it, but he didn't let me and grabbed my hand, giving me a reassuring look. I bit my lower lip nervously as I felt my father's murderous gaze on us. Alessandro cleared his throat and looked at my father confidently.

"Isabella is my wife." Alessandro confessed firmly.

My parents gasped in shock, staring at us with wide eyes.

"What the hell is this bastard talking about?" My father snapped as he looked at me. "Is it true?"

I bit my lower lip nervously while holding Alessandro's hand tightly and nodded.

"Yes, Dad. We are married. We got married in New York." I admitted.

"Oh really?! And when did you two plan to tell us?" My father barked and gave us an intimidating glare.

"We were going to tell when we came back from New York, but it changed when my father had a heart attack." Alessandro said sadly. "And you went to London. So we waited for you to come back." He added.

"I visited your father when he was in the hospital. Yes, I came back for a day, but I think you have plenty of time to tell me then." My father stated bitterly, clenching his fist.

"It wasn't the right time. My mind was preoccupied with my father and the problem in the company. On the other hand, I wanted to inform our parents together with Isabella." Alessandro explained.

"So you decided to get engaged to someone else at that time." My father commented mockingly.

Alessandro sighed and said. "You know that it was a fake engagement. My father told you about the plan."

"What?" I asked, confused. My father knew about it?!

"Yes, but then I didn't know you were married to my daughter." My father commented with the sarcasm and anger in his voice.

"I am sorry..."

"It doesn't matter anymore. You two fooled us." My father stated bitterly.

"Dad, please. We were going to tell...We didn't try to offend you." I gave him an apologetic look.

"And how long were you two hiding it?" My father asked mockingly.

"About a year and four months." Alessandro replied shyly.

"Perfect!" My father exclaimed in sarcasm. "At least, you didn't inform us with a five years old child beside you." My father added mockingly.

I looked at Alessandro nervously, biting my lower lip. Alessandro gulped as he tensed up.

"Umm...When you came back we were going to tell you about our marriage and....our son, Matteo." Alessandro mumbled, holding my hand tightly. He was tense.

They stared at us, their mouths agape. In a flash, my father punched Alessandro again.

"Dad!" I exclaimed in fear.

"Antonio, calm down!" My mother demanded as she pulled my father back.

"Ale, are you okay?" I asked, concerned as my eyes welled up.

"I am okay. Don't worry." Alessandro said, giving me a reassuring look as he cupped my cheek.

"I understood the reason for this sudden marriage." My father commented. "You knocked up my daughter. Because of it you decided to marry her for clearing your mess." My father added angrily.

"No. I proposed to her not because of it. Isabella wasn't pregnant when we got married." Alessandro confessed. He traveled his gaze from my father to me and continued. "I fell in love with your daughter at first sight. I love her so much." He paused as he sighed. "I tried to stay away from her as much as possible, but I understood that I couldn't live without her anymore. Actually, I don't want a life without her. So I decided to marry her. Fortunately, she accepted my proposal, making me the happiest man in the world." He said, holding my hand and gave me a charming smile.

Oh, Alessandro! I couldn't hold myself and smiled at him happily.

"Do your parents know about it?" My father asked.

"Yes, my father found out about it a few months ago. And I told my mother recently." Alessandro replied.

My father shook his head in disapproval.

"Antonio, it will be better if we talk about it later." My mother intervened as my father wanted to ask something.

"Yes, you are right." My father agreed as he looked at us from head to toe. I bit my lower lip, blushing. "And I need to calm down or I will kill someone." My father added as he gave Alessandro a death glare.

I burst out crying as my parents left the suite, slamming the door behind them.

"Hey, don't cry, bella mia." Alessandro said softly and pulled me into his embrace.

"They...are...angry...at us." I mumbled between my sobs as I hugged him tightly.

"Don't worry. They will forgive us." He stroked my hair gently, holding me tightly in his arms.

A month later

It had been a month since my parents found out about Alessandro and me. Fortunately, Federico managed to soften up my father. They forgave us. Now we were a happy big family. There was going to be a new addition to our family. I was four weeks pregnant. I couldn't wait to hold my baby in my arms.

Lorenzo was arrested as well. Alessandro said he would stay in jail till his death. After the police had arrested him, his wife and Gaia left the country.

I smiled happily as two strong arms wrapped around me from behind.

"How is my beautiful wife?" Alessandro whispered in my ear as he rested his hands on my stomach.

"I am fine." I replied, smiling and placed a soft kiss on his lips.

"How is my little one?" He asked, stroking my stomach gently.

"Fine. We just missed you." I responded as I turned around and wrapped my arms around his neck.

"I missed you too." He said and placed a chaste kiss on his lips.

"Dada." We pulled back as we heard Matteo's voice. He walked towards us, showing us his cheeky smile.

"My little charmer." Alessandro said softly as he approached him and took him in his arms.

He smiled and kissed Matteo's cheeks. Then he started tickling Matteo. Matteo giggled. I approached them, smiling. Alessandro stopped tickling Matteo and kissed his cheek.

"My favorite men." I commented as I stroked Matteo's hair gently and rested my head against Alessandro's shoulder.

Alessandro smiled and kissed my lips. "I love you, bella mia."
