Jacob and Corey were designated drivers for the night seen as everyone else who could drive had already had a drink. I was currently squished in between Caleb and Liam with there shoulders and man spread taking up all the space.

"Do you guys mind?" I shouted enough to be heard over the music.

"If you mind that much you can go in the car with dad." Caleb smiled nastily.

To be honest I'd rather be squished because i have nothing to say to dad. I'm still very afraid that a sarcastic comment is going to slip out tonight.

Jacob was in the front with Issac and the rest were in the car with dad.

We'd reached the restaurant before the others so we quickly got out and went to the door. As soon as we got to out reserved table i sat as far away from the head of the table as i could. Dad usually took that seat even though it was rightfully Issac's, and that angered me.

"Guess we had the same Idea." Liam said sitting in front of me.

"Yeah, i don't think i can possibly deal with him tonight. I'm too tired." I said as i pulled my phone out my pocket.

"Riley put your phone away." Issac said from two seats down.

"But i don't wan-" I started but never got to finish.

"I don't want to either but if we all have to then you do too." He said seaming exhausted and drained. I knew for a fact he blamed himself for all of this but no body could have done what he's done for us.

I shoved my phone back into my pocket just as the rest of the family started pilling in. Leo threw me a fed up glance, and i saw that everyone's face was masking there miserable emotions right now.

Someone came over with menu's but not enough so i had to wait until everyone else was finished. Finally Caleb next to me handed me a menu, i skimmed past most of it and ended up just getting a bucket of chips.

When the food finally came i was the last one to get my food which i was glad about, everyone was too busy to notice i hadn't got a proper meal.

"Why did you only get that?" Caleb quietly said to me so no one else could hear.

"I haven't long had food." I smiled.

"Riley, i know your lying. I can tell." He said putting down his knife and fork to face me.

"Please don't make a big deal out of it." I whispered as i saw Liam glance over.

"Only if you promise to talk to me when we get home." He said as he held his pinkie finger under the table.

"Sure, as long as you aren't drunk. That's your fifth beer." I grabbed his pinkie with mine.

"sixth actually, I need it. You can have one if you don't tell anyone." He said continuing to eat.

"Fine by me." I smiled.

I ate my chips, well half of them but it was the most I'd eaten in a while. Everyone else were finished and were talking, i stayed quite because i didn't want to talk to a criminal.

I kicked Liam in the chin who was currently looking at his phone under the table. I got his attention and he looked up at me.

"Talk to me, so we look like we're having a conversation and they won't talk to me." I said quietly across the table.

"Erm can i have the rest of your chips?" He asked.

I pushed the bucket across the table to him and he began to munch on them.

"What were u watching on your phone?" I asked.

"Rugby match. I missing it for this stupid ass dinner. I should be in my comfies at home watching it on the big screen." He complained.

"That sucks, let me see." He handed me the phone under the table and i balanced it on my leg and began to watch.

Suddenly my phone pinged in my pocket, so i pulled it out to look who it was.

Get off the phone NOW- Issac

I looked up to see his agitated face.

I quickly passed Liam he's phone back and he looked at me confused. I nodded my head in Issac's direction who was still looking at both of us.

"I'll go pay and then we can all get going." Dad said getting up from his seat.

"No i'll pay." Issac stood up and was already walking to the bar.

Soon enough we were all back in the cars heading home.

I went into my room and just lied on the bed in exhaustion until Caleb knocked on the door and told me to talk in his room.

When he closed the door behind me he handed me a beer.

"I haven't got a bottle opener." I said.

He took it back from me and then used the door handle to get the cap off. I was pretty impressed. I sat on his bed with my back on the headboard.

"Can you not take your shirt of in front of me." I said turning away.

"I walk around the house with no top on all the time." He said as he continued to take the white material from his shoulders.

"Yeah but i don't want to see the process of you taking it off."

He came and sat next to me on the bed with his own bottle in his hand.

"So talk."
