After a few hours of being at the center, Don looked down at his watch seeing that it was time for him to pick up his children. They were enrolled in Kidz Academy as well and would be attending when they got out school for now on.

Don told Darnell he was stepping out to get the kids. She gave him a kiss on his lips surprising him.

Her mood swings where wild he thought.

Don made sure to watch her in her element today, turned on by her . He thought it was so sexy that she was a boss. The only thing he didn't like was the nigga Darnell introduced to him as Coach Carter.

Every time Darnell and dude got together it seemed like they couldn't stop laughing and the way they talked seemed almost like flirting to Don. He wondered if Darnell had anything going on with man bun while they were on their break.

He didn't think Darnell would be messing with another dude. Especially somebody that worked for her. Don's ego wouldn't allow him to think she would downgrade like that. Yeah he fucked up but he knew just like Darnell knew, nobody could love her like he did.

Or so he thought.

Don pushed all those thought to the back of his head as he pulled up to Kay's school first. Picking her up he headed to pick up Nova and little Don. They all talked his head off as he drove back to Kidz Academy, telling him what they did in school and how executed they were about going to mommies new school.

Pulling up to the center they all got out and headed inside. They stopped by Darnell office first to greet her before they all went their separate ways.

Walking up to the door Don could hear a deep voice accompanying Darnell's. Her office door was already open and when Don turned the corner seeing man bun was sitting on Darnell's desk as she sat in her office chair.

They were snickering and carrying on with big cheesy smiles on their faces. 'He don't have shit else to do but smile in my wife face' Don thought.

Before he could say something the kids outtalked him by jumping on Darnell with hugs and kisses. Darnell was so elated to see her children that she didn't notice Don standing in the corner giving her and Carter dirty looks.

"I want you guys to meet coach Carter." Darnell pointed towards him. "He works in the gym so when you want to play basketball he'll help you."

Carter bent down to their heights individually introducing himself. "What's your name beautiful?" He asked holding his hand out to shake Kaydence's hand.

Kay smiled."Kaydence but everybody calls me Kay."

"It's a pleasure to meet you Kay."

Carter moved on doing that same with little Don and Nova gaining smiles from all of them. Darnell could tell that her kids liked Carter, giving her great satisfaction that she's hired him.

"I can take them to meet their teachers." Carter offered standing to his full height looking at Darnell.

Each age group had a class they would be separated in. In each class they had a head teacher and assistant teacher that would help the kids do activities, help with their homework if they needed it, and overall support with whatever they were going through.

"Okay. Thank you I appreciate that." Darnell smiled. Don rolled his eyes at her gittiness.

The kids left out after Darnell telling them that she would come to their class in a fees minutes. The kids hugged Don leaving out Carter following behind them.

When they were done Don closed the office door and sat in the chair across from Darnell as she worked on emails on her laptop.

After a minute of Darnell not paying Don any attention he cleared his throat.

Darnell looked up at Don. "What's up babe?"

"Why you hired that Samurai Jack looking ass nigga? I could teach some kids how to throw a basketball in a hoop."

Stopping what she was doing Darnell looked up catching Don's gave that was full of attitude.

"How Don when you have three clubs and a restaurant thats about to open up? Let's not forget that you have three kids." Darnell chuckled not taking Don seriously.

"Yeah aight." He waived her off. All he knew was that Darnell was showing Carter a little too much attention and she wasn't showing him enough.

For a split second he thought about what should happen if he stared entertaining other women. For as much as he knew him and Darnell was still on a break and if she was talking to man bun then why should he not talk to other women.

Women threw themselves at him all day long even though he still had his on ring. Even though he noticed that Darnell's hadn't been on her finger for a while now.

Their seldom sex and cuddling wasn't enough for him. He wanted more and if Darnell wasn't willing to give him that then maybe he had to look for it somewhere else.

He didn't want to start over. He truly loved Darnell. She was his first love, heart and most importantly his wife.

Darnell saw that Don was in deep thought.

"What's going on with you?" She asked concerned. Don never held back. If he felt a certain way or had something to say he would say it.

Don shook his head not wanting to say what was on his mind. Today was suppose to be a great day for Darnell. A day that she was waiting on for a long time and he didn't want to ruin it for her.

"Nothing. I'm gonna go check on the kids." He got from the chair and walked out of Darnell's office leaving her a loss for words.

Don was holding back from her. But she wasn't gonna stress it. When he was ready he would say something.

As Don made his way down the main hall that lead to all the rooms he continued to debate rather if moving in the right decision.

'Is she holding on to this marriage just for the kids?Does she still love me like she say she do? How if she could move on so fast?'

Later on that night Don didn't say much at dinner like he did for the rest of the day at the center. The only thing he could think about was if Darnell had a relationship other than boss and employee with Carter.

As bad as he wanted to confront Darnell, he didn't. He had planned out their anniversary and didn't want to cancel it if he got the answers he didn't want to hear.

He avoided Darnell while they put the kids to bed. He didn't even try to get into their bed. When the kids were asleep he got his keys and left out locking the door behind him. Darnell was in the shower so she didn't hear when Don left.

She called our for him while she got dressed for bed, which was nothing but one of Don's oversized shirts. She couldn't help herself. All throughout her shower she could only think about making love to Don.

She really appreciated him today supporting her and wanted to show him her gratitude. Also she was horny and she knew Don would easily scratch that itch she had for him.

After a few more times she decided to see if he was in his man cave. Sometimes he would have the tv so loud that he couldn't hear her. She went down stairs noticing that all the lights were off and the front door was locked.

Confused she went back upstairs to grab her phone to call Don. After a few rings Don answered with a harsh "hello."

Darnell pulled the phone away from her ear looking at it as if it was Don, raising an eyebrow at his tone.

"Where are you?"

"I'm at the condo."

"Why didn't you tell me you were leaving?"

"Didn't think you would care." He said in a nonchalant way.

Darnell sucked her teeth.

"Why wouldn't I care?"

"I don't know. If it ain't got nothing to do with coach Carter then I thought it didn't matter."

Darnell laughed. "Are you serious?" Don couldn't be serious. Was he jealous of Carter?

"Dead ass."

"Don I just-"

"If that's all I was about to go to bed. I have to be up early to finish up some stuff for the restaurant." Don cut her off.

Shocked by his attitude Darnell didn't know what to say. "Oh okay."

"Yeah" with that Don hung up leaving Darnell perplexed.

They both went to bed that night with a lot on their minds. Confused with each other actions.
