After Don picked up the kids from school and daycare he made his way home. The conversation or more like confrontation with Jennifer still played through his mind. He tried erasing it by asking his kids about their day but the thoughts of him having another child stayed at the front of his mind.

Once they made it to the house they all jumped out of the car with his assistance and made their way into the house. The smell of cooked food flooded the air.

Don made his way to the kitchen seeing Darnell in nothing but a pair of Nike shorts and a muscle tee with no bra on as usual.

When she heard the pattering of little feet she turned welcoming in her children with hugs and kisses. She turned the stove and settled down at the island counter where little Don and Kay was.

She began talking with them about the activities they did today in school and asking them to tell her at least three new things they learned. When she looked up she made eye contact with Don.

Being with him over these past couple of years Darnell thought she could knew Don in and out. Which made her uneasy when she saw the look in his eyes that read what she thought was guilt. As soon as she caught it, it disappeared. Now he had a smile on his face as he walked towards her wrapping his arms around her.

He kissed her neck a couple of times before backing away allowing space between the two but still standing between her legs.

"How was your day baby?" She asked wiping the lip gloss she had on off his lips.

"Uh it was good. How about you?"

"I didn't do much today. Just cleaned up around the house a little and made some calls for the rec and the restaurant. I'm so excised about everything babe. I've wanting this rec for so long and the restaurant is just like the icing on the cake."

"I hear you ma. I'm excited for you."

"Thank you Papi." She smirked. She looked Don up and down rubbing on his chest. Her man was looking good just like any other day. Her mind just automatically went to the things she wanted to do to him once they got some alone time.

"Aight now don't start that when you know we can't do nothin." He said eyeing the kids who where now pulling out their homework folders.

"Later?"

"You got it mama."

They kissed again before they separated. Darnell went to check on the food on the stove as Don began to help his children with their homework.

After dinner Don had separated himself from the loud screams coming from his children's play room as he chilled in his man cave.

All throughout dinner it seemed that Darnell was watching every move he made. His paranoia was starting to take over him. The only thing he could do was make sure he took the DNA test to see if the little girl was his and the faster he did that the faster he could move on regularly with his family.

All this information was sitting on his mind and he needed to talk to somebody. He grabbed his phone and dialed the only person he knew he could trust.

"Hello."

"Whats up Meer?"

Yameer was still Don's right hand, best friend. Whenever he needed something he knew Yameer would be there for him no matter what.  Even though he got him in trouble with Darnell plenty of times with his foolishness, there was nobody he considered more then a friend. They were more like brothers.

"You sound stressed as fuck. What's going on bro?"

"Man." Don let out a deep breath while bringing a hand down his face.

"I'm about to tell you some shit that I ain't told nobody. This was suppose to go with me to my death bed."

Yameer got up from his bed. He was laid up with Naree and he didn't want her to hear what Don was saying. Over the years they where on and of a lot and right now they were on.

He knew from the way he was talking and the tone of his voice that what he was about to say wasn't good. He made his way outside to his balcony and closed the door behind him before sitting down in one of his lounge chairs he had outside.

"Damn its that bad?"

"Bro you have no idea."

Yameer stayed quite anticipating Don's next words.

"About a couple of years ago when I was just about to open up the club in Miami, me and Darnell got into a little petty argument."

"About what?"

"She felt like I was spending too much time at work and not at home with her and the kids. If I remember correctly she was talking about how she was feeling like she was a single mother how much I was gone."

"Damn so why is that a problem today? She still bringing it up?"

"Naw we good now but I don't know for how long?" Don sighed getting ready to let out his dirty little secret to Yameer.

"So after the argument I left for a weekend to go check on the Miami club. Once I hit down there we ended up having another argument and I just decide to let off some steam and go to one of the clubs. I really didn't give a fuck what I was doing and got pissy drunk. Some little Spanish chick and I started talking and I guess one thing lead to another and...." Don trailed off.

"Tell me you didn't bro!"

Yameer was stuck. He knew his friend was the family man. He never let anything come between him and his family so for Don to be telling him that he fucked up, showed him anything could happen.

"The worst part is she showed up at the club talking about she was pregnant and now I have another daughter."

"Damn. What was you thinking? You still don't know how to use a condom? Better question when are you going to tell your wife?"

"I can't just tell her that I may have a daughter. She doesn't even know that I stepped out on her." Don whispered into the phone looking over his shoulder making sure he was still alone.

Darnell was like a ninja the way she moved. No one could ever hear her coming or going. That's why the kids never got away with anything around the house.

He looked up the stairs from the basement to make sure the door was still closed.

"So what are you going to do?"

"DNA test for sure. But she was talking shit about telling Darnell about her and the baby. I can't let that happen. I'm just going to have to keep this shit on the low until I know she mine. Crazy thing is I don't even know the little girls name." Don sighed. Him telling Yameer this was making everything more real. He fucked up and bad.

"Yo you better get your shit together bro before you lose your wife and family over some bullshit. Handle your business cause if she tells Darnell before you then your completely fucked."

"I hear you man."

Don turned around when he heard the door open and noise on the stairs. He turned around seeing little Don coming down.

"Daddy?" Little Don called out as he walked over to Don. He climbed up on the sofa and sat in his lap.

"Mommy said it time for bed and I wanted you to come tuck me in."

"I'm coming okay give me a minute. I'm taking to uncle Meer." He said as he brushed back his small curls and kissed him on top of his head.

"Alright daddy. Tell uncle Meer I said hi and goodnight. Don't let the boogie man eat him." He laughed while running back up the stairs.

"Alright man I'm going let you get back to daddy duty. Handle your business bro."

"I hear you."

"Aight I'll hit you up later."

The two hung up after saying their goodbyes. Don got up turning off the tv and made his way up the stairs and into little Don's room. He helped him into the bed and then went over to Kay's room to do the same.

When he was done, he made it to his room and saw Darnell was in the bed with her laptop on he lap and her glasses hanging of the edge of her nose. She looked up when she heard Don coming into the room.

"You okay babe you've been quiet all day?"

"Yeah I just got a lot on my mind right now." Don went into the bathroom to throw his dirty clothes in the hamper after stripping down to his underwear. When he came out Darnell had put everything up and was now tying up her hair for bed.

Don walked around the bed and got in on his side then turned the tv on to Sports Center.

"Well is it anything you want to talk about? That why I'm here baby. You don't have to keep it all inside you can talk to me babe."

"I know mama. I'm good though."

"You sure babe?"

"Yeah."

Darnell turned off her lamp on the bed side table and made her way over to Don. She cuddled up to him laying her head on his chest. She wrapped him up in her arms and threw her leg in between his. They were silent for a minute before Don spoke up.

"You know I love your right?"

Darnell face turned down into a frown. "Yes. I love you too."

"And you know I would never do anything to purposely hurt you right?"

Darnell was confused on why her husband was talking like this but she didn't speak on it. She figured that he just wanted to get it off his chest so she let him. She clearly wasn't catching on to what he really meant.

"Yeah."

"Good." He kissed her on top of her head and threw and his arms around her body.

"Goodnight ma."

"Goodnight baby."
