I was on vacation for like a week then because of the hurricane they wouldn't let us back in my state so...yeah pray for Texas and all the states affected by hurricane Irma. Darnell tiredly moved around her bedroom getting ready for the day. She didn't know why she felt so sluggish, she chucked it up to be having an additional exuberant child in the house. Figuring an hot shower would wake her up and get her energized, she went into the bathroom and started the shower water turning it to her liking.

After a fifthteen minute shower Darnell stepped out drying off then wrapping her fluffy hot pink robe around her. She went into her closet to pick something out for her to wear. She wasn't gonna do anything over the top, she wanted to be comfortable since she was going to be moving around a lot today.

It was a very special day- the first official day of Kidz Academy. Darnell was so happy that one of her most wildest dreams where coming true.

She was now an official business owner of her own after school/recreation center. A safe haven where kids and teens could come and get the guidance, attention, and academic help they needed.

Pulling out a hoodie with the Academy's logo on it and a pair of black jeans, she put them on after slipping into her undergarments. Matching the schools colors she slid on her suede maroon Fenty Puma platforms. Her curly hair laid down her back while her face was lightly coated with makeup. When she was done she headed downstairs to the kitchen.

Turning the corner she found Don and the kids eating cereal. She glanced at Don who was dressed in a outfit similar to hers. She smiled knowing that he had remembered that today was an important day for her.

All three kids had on shirts that said "Come to my mommy Academy!" On the front and the academy's address on the back.

Little Don was the first one to see her appear.

"Good morning mommy!"

Darnell laughed at his enthusiasm. She could never get tired of seeing her kids faces everyday. The three of them kept a smile on her face twenty-four seven. Even though she wasn't Nova's biological mother, over the time they had built up an loving bond.

Darnell went around the kitchen giving all her babies a kiss on their head. "Good morning my love bugs."

Don sat in the last stool waiting for Darnell to show him love as well. He watched on admiring how she interacted with the kids.

Over the past week Nova was getting accustomed to being apart of her new family. Don could say he respected Darnell even more as she treated Nova as if she carried her for nine months and knew her all her life.

Don was shocked when Darnell walked right past him not even acknowledging his presence. Darnell didn't have a problem with Don this morning, she just loved fucking with him sometimes cause she knew he would get all in his feelings.

Don was still staying at his condo even though some nights he found his way into Darnell's bed. They didn't do anything but cuddle those nights. Darnell would let it go since most of the time she was too lazy to argue with him and to be honest, now a days she felt the distance between them and wanted things to be how they used to.

Before Darnell was too far away from him, Don pulled Darnell into his lap by one of the belt loops on her jeans.

"Why you playing with me?" Don whispered into Darnell's neck. He wrapped his muscular arms around Darnell not allowing her to get up from his hold. His minty breath mixed with the light kisses he placed on her neck made her giggle.

The kids looked on for a second before returning to their cereal not paying their parents any attention.

"I'm not playing with you. Let me go Dillon."

Don sighed. Darnell's mood swings had him perplexed. One minute she would allow him to hold and kiss up on her and other days she rejected his attention.

"Show me some love then."

Darnell turned placing her hands on Don's cheeks and gave him a kiss on his forehead.

"You happy now?"

Don sucked his teeth while Darnell walked off to their fridge to find her something to eat. Pulling out her left over chinese food from the other day she grabbed a fork diving into the cold chicken chow mein.

Don looked at her weirdly raising an eyebrow. "You not gonna heat that up?"

Darnell finished the fork full of food in her mouth before she spoke. Shaking her head she answered with a "No. It tastes better cold."

Don just stared at her while she took a bite of her cold egg roll that looked almost frozen. Don was a little confused. Darnell was doing weird shit like this for a while now and he only seen her act like this a couple time before, but that was when she was pregnant with little Don.

He wanted to say something but he thought Darnell would know her body better than he would and if she thought she was pregnant then she would have said something to him by now. Plus what was the odds of Darnell being pregnant now. They had been married for five years, weeks away from six and it was full of unprotected sex. Her popping up pregnant now was impossible. Right?

After eating breakfast the family was out to their respective stops. Kaydence at school, little Don and Nova at daycare, while Don and Darnell went to the center.

Darnell was excited to have Don by her side this morning. She was nervous and his presence calmed her nerves. As they walked in they held hands and Darnell introduced Don to all of her employees.

Once all of that was done, Darnell began to scramble around ready to greet her new group of children.
