Tracy

We finally made a deal with Grandma, in front of our lawyers. She promised to not interfere or use her power against us or our friends and their families. I wanted to thank Grandma for bringing me up all this, time, but she didn't want to talk to any of us. She said, she felt betrayed by us.

I ran to Carson as soon as we were done and hugged him, tight.

"Thank you, thank you." I said.

"You're welcome." He sighs. "How was it?"

Our friends gathered around us and took turns to hug me.

"Thank you for bringing our family together." Dad said to my friends. "we owe you."

"It's a pleasure." Elliot said.

We were excited to head back to San Francisco. We all decided to leave that evening.

I looked for Laurie.

"Thank you for helping me with everything." I said to her. "Please take care of grandma."

"I will." She said, "please take care of yourself now...."

"And you too." I said.

I packed my belongings and looked around the place, I once called home. I will definitely miss this place and everyone here, including my grandma.

I called Liam after that.

"I'm so happy for you,Tracy." He said. "I really mean it. I'm here for you always, I'm sorry for all the stresses that I give you for saying yes to the engagement,I hope he takes care of you.... I'm here if you want to talk and if you want a friend to listen to."

"Thank you Liam and you didn't give me any stresses. Thank you for understanding."

"If I do visit San Francisco, can you show me around?" He asked.

"I will." I promised. "How's your parents taking in the information." I asked.

"It will take time. They are not happy with your Grandma, but they will get over it." He said nonchalantly. "Don't stress about that, just be happy and stay happy."

"Thank you Liam."

"I hope to see you soon,Trace."

"Me too, Liam." I said.

We flew back that evening thanks to Carson's private plane.

The house that my parents was living was smaller compared to my grandma but very beautiful. I like this place. There's balcony in the second floor. Carson kissed my cheeks before telling me he will be here tomorrow. I thanked my friends for all the things they have done for me. I really owe them one. They had to clear whatever plans for this week to help me.

Mom showed me to my room upstairs. The room was light blue, a cute twin size bed, the room was of course empty with furnitures.

"Thank you." I said hugging her.

"If you need anything, we are in the room down the hall." She smiled.

I went to take a shower and went down to get myself some water. Mom and Dad was sitting on the couch and talking about something.

"You guys are not sleeping yet?" I asked.

"We were just talking about how thankful we are." Dad said standing up with Mom.

"So am I." I said smiling at them.

"Tomorrow, we'll have breakfast at our favourite diner." Dad said excitedly. "We can call your friends for dinner, tomorrow."

"There's no rush.. they stay here." I said.

"We can take things slowly." Mom said.

I texted Carson wondering if he was asleep, but he was not. He called me as I sat near the window and watched the empty street.

"How's everything going on?" He asked.

"Good." I said. "Thank you."

"You might as well thank Ashton, he was the one who was able to find them."

"But thank you for approaching him.. I know you didn't like him."

He sighed. "I missed you so much."

"I missed you too." I said.

"I love you Tracy, more than I can describe and more than you could ever imagine."

My heart flutter at the thought. "I love you so much more Carson."

"Will you be coming back to school?" He asked.

"Yes." I said. "I will be enrolling again."

"Good." He said.

"When are you graduating?" I asked.

"Two more semester to go.." he said.

"What are you planning to do?" I asked.

"You really want to talk about this, now?" He asked.

"Yes." I said. "I don't know if I will be able to enrolled the coming semester or have to wait again."

"I'll be here." He said. "I'll wait for you to graduate."

"If you have to move somewhere you should."

"I won't be moving for a while." He said. "I have my business here."

"Oh.. you do?"

"Yes, I have my own company here."

"That's news." I said.

"There's so much more we have to learn about each other."

"I know." I said.

"I love you so much Tracy." He said.

"I love you so much more, Carson." I said.
