Carson

I never thought Ashton is an influential person. He have powers and he's someone who I think no one wants to be on his bad side.I was on his bad side, but he didn't do much to me.

People are scared of him and he seem to have some sort of power over those poor sketchy looking people.

"Find them for me." He said giving them the name and information of Tracy's parents.

That's all it took for them to scurry away and figure out what to do, next.

Ashton seemed relaxed as he made his way to his car. He yawned after that.

"Dinner?" He asked.

"Sure." I said. "My treat."

"You can keep your treat to yourself. I don't want to owe you anything."

"I owed you one for the misunderstanding and for helping me, today."

He turned and looked at me. "I helped you today because of Tracy. I'm doing it for Tracy and I want to remind you that if you fall.."

"I won't be.. and if I do. I'm going to pick myself up every single time."

He smirked. "We will see."

I rolled my eyes at him as I opened his Ferrari door. This douche sure have a good car.

He drove to a restaurant and looked at me. "What better way to relieve stress than to eat some spicy wings and fries? Can you handle spicy?" He smirked at me.

If only I could have recorded when he made fun of me for not being able to handle the spices. I would have...cause His face was red and lips was little swollen and I could see tears in his eyes as he ate the spicy wings one after another.

"You sure can handle the spice." I said to him.

"Of course." He boasted. "It sucks you can't handle the spice."

"Oh yes." I remarked sarcastically. I rather admit I can't eat spicy food than eating it and regretting it.

A woman walked to our booth giving us the look I'm used to getting. The F*ck me look, but things has changed. I'm Tracy's and she's mine and I don't want to change that.

"Ashton." She purred at him and looked at me licking her lip,and I almost spat the drink on her face. She's decent looking, but not my type.

"Don't bother me now, Cassidy." He rolled his eyes at her. "I'm busy."

She tried to hide her embarrassment and asked about me.

"Someone you don't have to know about." I muttered.

"I like challenges." She winked at me.

"Sure you do." I said.

"Leave us alone." Ashton snapped at the woman in annoyance. "I'm not in the mood today, and neither is this guy."

Cassidy huffed in annoyance and walked away.

"You come here often?" I asked.

"Now you want to get to know me? I prefer you glaring at me and being a douche than you acting nice."

"I'm trying to be nice. Why can't you be as well?"

"What's the point? Once I'm nice- we'll be friends.. I don't want to be friends with someone who like the same girl as me. Second girl that I like and she likes you as well. It's better we stay enemy, so I don't feel guilty about hanging out with her."

His reasons does make sense, but I don't like the idea how he wants to be with Tracy. It make me angry inside, right now. Both of us have the same goal.. help Tracy find her parents and ruin her suppose to be engagement with that Liam guy. The last bit is for me to handle, but I think he and I will share the same opinion even though I hate it.

We didn't talk anything after that. "I'll let you know if there's any update." He said to me once we reached his residence.

"Cool." I said awkwardly. "Thanks." I said getting out of the car.

"Cool." He said and I left to find my car.

Hearing Tracy's cry added another stress and pains me. I've always seen her strong- arguing for what she thinks is right, fighting back physically. She's a strong woman and hearing her cry reminded me that she's as human as everyone. She can put a facade that she's strong but in truth, like everyone else she needs the love and the support from her love ones.

I can't even fly to her and be with her and it kills me inside. I just hope I find her parents and fly them or do anything-anything to keep her from feeling miserable.

I looked at the sky outside my room's window and closed my eyes imagining being her. How I missed her.

I really hope that we will be able to connect with her parents quickly because challenges are thrown at us and it's making me frustrated that my cards are not ready to be thrown on the table. I'm waiting for the right time and for the right moment to flip the card.

I hope it won't be too late before I throw the card on the table.
