Tracy

I went back to the Hotel instead of home. I'm still mad at grandma for involving Taylor in our drama. That's so low of her to do that.

Skylar was concerned when I walked inside the room.

"How was the meeting?" She asked.

"She called Taylor." I said.

"Wait... did I heard that right?" Elliot said walking in. "Repeat for me, please."

"Grandma called Taylor up and now they are plotting something against me."

"Is she being serious?" He asked me.

"As far as I know, yes." I said. "She wants me to come home."

"Are you?"

"Do I have a choice?" I asked.

"You do." Skylar said. "We all have a choice."

"She will use her powers against us."

"Abusing her power?" Elliot scowled.

"I think I will just go home and find out what she's up to." I said. "Thank you for coming all the way, here."

"We're here." Elliot said patting my head. "Keep us posted."

"Okay." I said.

Grandma was already boasting about the engagement as soon as I walked inside the house. She was on the call- laughing and sharing news to people. It would be amusing to watch her regret this decision. She should know better now, not to do something hasty.

I'm not going to get engage with Liam. I have to talk to Liam about it. Make him understand how wrong it is and how we both will get hurt at the end.

Grandma glanced at me, "Tracy is here." She laughed. "I will of course share the message with her. The invitation is mailed out, already. You should be getting it soon."

I walked to my room. It's going to be a disaster, but she's the one who made the mess in the first place.

I locked the room behind me. I don't want her to come and give me another order. I came here to figure out what needs to be done. I wonder if Laurie have any idea what my grandma is plotting with Taylor. I highly doubt, but there's no harm in asking. The worse she could do is lie that she have no idea.

I groaned as I sat on the bed and looked out at the window. What will happen if I can't run away from the engagement? I shivered at that thought. I need to make a plan, and I need it ASAP.

I called Liam, at first he didn't answer my call. He later called back.

"Tracy." He said as soon as I picked up his call. "I'm sorry, I was doing something. Did you call?"

"Yes. Can we meet up? I want to talk to you about something. It's urgent."

"I would have love to, Trace. Your grandma said we can meet up this weekend."

"No-no." I said. "I want to meet you now."

"You can tell me here, as well?"

"I want to meet you in person and talk to you about this, please."

"I would have loved to, but your grandma said she wants us to meet when we pick our outfit for the engagement."

"That will be too late." I muttered. "Can't you see me,now?"

"Your grandma is a tough woman, Trace." He reminded. "I would have loved to, but if she finds out-we'll be in trouble."

I frowned at that thought. Why is he getting scared of Grandma for?

"I've got to go..Trace. See you." He said.

He didn't give me a chance to say anything else and ended the call. I think he's avoiding the topic. I think he knows what I want to talk to him about and he's avoiding it. Liam is so easy to read and understand. He's like an open book, maybe I've known him for a while? but he's too easy for me to read.

Oh, Liam. If only things were different.. he's a smart and a nice guy and I'm sure one day someone will love him, dearly. I hope so.. he deserve so much love and respect and I'm not that person for him and I hope he understands that and so will grandma.

Grandma knocked at the door and tried opening the door. She should give up, already. I'm stubborn and she should know where I got it from.

"Tracy Ann Williams, I want you to join me for dinner tonight."

"You lied to me." I pointed out. "Our lunch... you said it was just us, but you invited someone else." I said.

"It was suppose to be just us, but you were being tough."

I almost snorted.

"Dinner is ready in forty-five minutes. We will have another talk."

"Another talk or you want to order me, again?" I said opening the door and scowled at her.

"Tracy." She said putting her hand on my cheek, gently. "One day you will appreciate all my efforts and regret talking to me this way."

"Or the other way round." I said and moved her hand away.

She glared at me and her hand turned to fist. "You better be down for dinner." And she stomped away with Laurie behind her. Laurie give me a quick glance before walking away.

I'm not sure how to behave with Grandma behaving like that. She is showing tantrum and want me to do everything that she's saying. It's not possible for me to do everything she's asking.

I debated what the do- I want to run away but is that possible? Can I? Should I? There are risks and consequences.

I called up Carson and started crying. I finally had the breakdown.

"Shh." He pleaded. "I'll be there soon, baby."

"I want to run away." I cried. "I feel so stress out. I can't cope up with this neither do I know how to cope up with this."

"If you run away now. It will be messy." He said. "Stay there, I know you are stress. Stay calm. I'll be coming over soon, I promise."

"When?" I asked.

"Hopefully this week." He said. "For now, please...please take care of yourself and wait for me. We will get through this. We will find a way out for you."

"I don't want to meet Liam." I cried harder. Liam is not taking hint and it's making me feel stressful. If only Liam would have rejected the offer of engagement. Things would have been much easier for me. We have to pick our outfit this weekend for the engagement. I don't want to sit for hours or stand for hours to pick a dress for a party that I don't want to go.

"I don't want you to meet him, either. Please hold a little more longer.. I promise. I will be there, soon."
