Tracy

"You and him, that's a big NO from me." He said.

"Your opinion does not matter when it is 4:1 , sorry Trace, you are not part of the ratio." Cameron smirked at me.

"My opinion matters because Elliot is my friend."

"I don't mind doing it for Tracy." Elliot said and Carson give him a look that I am sure Elliot understood, but pretended to not understand.

"Tracy, I will pick you up tomorrow." He promised me. "We can go together ?" He looked at Marcel and Cameron and they shrugged.

"What is this? F**k*** get together? Since when are you guys so close?" He snapped at them.

"Since you decided to be the player of the school." Kyle said nonchalantly. "I will drive a car too, we should go together and leave the love birds, so they can bond and get to know each other."

"No one is getting to know each other. She is mine." He shouted and there was another silent followed by them ignoring what he just said, but my heart pounded and my stomach was filled with butterflies.

"You can bring her flowers and something and wait, so other students will see and then people will actually believe that you guys are together." Marcel said.

"Not a bad idea." Elliot agreed.

Carson had enough, I sense it, we all do, but they are choosing to ignore him.

"I said she is mine!" He said again loudly. There was a pause and Marcel added,

"She is Tracy, she is not a property you are claiming."

Carson chose to ignore him and glared at Marcel.

"You were the one acting like a child." Elliot said. "You have no rights to claim her as yours when you were fooling around with other girls"

"Let's go." Elliot tells me as he stood up and so did everyone else. "When you get your sh** straight, then come and talk to us." He tells Carson.

Carson's hand turned into a fist as Elliot pulled me along with him and Carson lashed out on him, again.

Kyle and Cameron pulled him back. "Are you f**k*** crazy?" Cameron hissed at Carson with anger.

"I think we all need to calm down and especially you." I finally tell Carson. "You played the game, it was your choice, but this is not a game."

"I- I never thought of it as a game."

"Sure you did not." I said snorting in disbelief. "stop doing what you will regret later and reflect on what you are doing now." I tell him as I walked away from him.

That night, while I was reading a book until midnight, my phone rang. Unknown number, flashing on my phone. First, I ignored it, but after three rings it called again.

"Hey." I said picking up even though I did not want to.

"Your boyfriend, Carson is fighting with someone in the bar now. Would you mind coming in for him before he gets into more trouble?" The speaker said. "He is in Night Out club near UofSF."

"What is he doing?" I said getting up and taking my jacket and my mini bag pack, put my wallets and other things there and headed to the pub with my sweat-pants, messy hair and jacket.

"He picked up a fight with a group. They are having a dispute and someone who knew him from school told me to call you. Had got your number from somewhere.I am the bartender over here, my name is Isaac."

"Thanks Isaac, I will be there in ten." I said as I ended the call and look for the direction. I called up Elliot and Kyle and told him about Carson's dispute and they said they are coming and told me not to go because it is late night, but I had to go to make sure he was fine.

I walked to the pub, which was a fifteen minutes walk, I walked with my arms around myself and my hood up to hide my face. It is scary to walk outside alone.

Reaching the busy street, I felt much nicer seeing lights and people around. I spot the club and made my way through. The bouncer giving me question look as I approach them.

"My friend had a fight, came to pick him up. Isaac the bartender told me to come and pick him up."

One nodded hearing that and lead me inside. Carson was held in a room all by himself. His eyes bloodshot and he looked tired, but mostly just drunk and angry.

"What is wrong with you?" I tell him when I saw the condition he is in.

"What are you doing here?" He snapped at me.

"I came here to take you home." I tell him.

He snorted at my sentence. "I can go home by myself, thank you. Mind your own f***k*** business."

I was hurt by his words and I stayed silent because I was not sure what to say. Tears threatened to fall, but I am stronger than that. I won't let his words get to me, I told myself.

"Fine. Then go home on your own." I snapped at him.

"I'm sorry." He said when I was near the door. "Please don't leave me." He said and I turned to look at him. His words, made my heart flutter. I almost mistook his words in a different way with the way his eyes is staring at me. He was calling out for a silent help and I wanted to turn and walk away before it suck me in and dry me up, but I couldn't and so I stayed. I went to him and give him a hug while he was sitting at the couch. His arms around my waist as I am standing and hugging him.

Whatever this is between us, I have to figure it out, soon.
