Tracy

What Carson meant by game was him roaming with girls in school. When he left me at the emergency staircase and I took deep breaths to calm myself down after him being so close to me. I exited the stairs and went back out the same way that we came here.

It was soon all over the school that maybe we broke up seeing that Carson is hanging out with a girl now and not me. I shrugged that news away because in the first place we were not dating.

Cameron give me guilty look when we were sitting in the library for lunch.

"What is with the look on your face?" I asked about his guilty face.

"I am sorry about this morning." He said. "Was it because of me?"

I shake my head, No."it's fine." I give him a small smile.

"But are you?" He asked.

"I am." I said assuring him, Lie, my subconscious smirked at me.

Either I am thinking way too much, but it seem like wherever I am going Carson is there with the girl because he entered the library with the brunette. I looked at them for a brief moment and looked back at Cameron who was struggling with something, most probably the essay that he was working on.

I sighed. "Use the PPT the professor posted." I give him a hint.

"What would I do without you?" He said with a grinned as he pushed the thick book to the side and opened his laptop.

I put on my reading glasses and flip through the fiction book that I found in the library.

"Tracy, why do we even have to compare writers work! It makes no sense, these writers have different views." He complained as I heard him huffed.

I put my book down, took off my glasses and I looked at him, "to add workload to our already work problems."

And he burst out laughing. "I thought you were going to say something serious."

His laughter died and he said, "You are not that snobbish."

I fake gasped. "I even helped you and you are calling me that?"

"When I first saw you, I thought you were those goody two shoes."

"Sure." I said putting back my reading glasses.

"I am serious!" He laughed. "I never had friends before, so if I do something weird like last time-correct me." He tells me and I tilted my head.

"How come?"

"I was an outcast since elementary school when they got to know about my family's situation. We don't come from a very good background, but my parents made an effort to put me in a private school. All the children were rich." He shrugged and I felt bad for him.

"So trashy." I pouted. "It's not even like they earned the money that they are being so proud."

He chuckled. "But once Puberty hit me, girls couldn't even reject me." He laughed humourlessly.

"Sure." I said shrugging to him.

"I'm serious." He said and I laughed.

"I never said you were joking."

"You know your boyfriend is glaring at me." He smiled.

I rolled my eyes and just in time my phone buzzed. "I have a class now." I groaned.

"You are in three classes of mine, right?" He asked and I nodded my head. "If I have problems, can you help me?"

"Sure, as long as you don't cross your line." I smiled at him.

"That's why I said, you should tell me when I do, I told you I never had a friend before and especially with a girl."

I took my things and my coat, "Stay warm, see you."

He waved at me as I left and I looked towards Carson's, his eyes trying to say something, but his reaction is something else as his arm is on that girl's shoulder.

"What is with you two?" Elliot stood right in front of me when I was walking and out of surprised I moved back and almost fell behind, but Kyle caught me just in time as I glared at Elliot.

"Can you not do that?" I shouted at him as my books fell from my hand with my coat.

"Do what? Ask questions or show my beautiful face."

I give him a deadpan.

"C'mon, my locker buddy, is this how you will treat me?" He pouted.

"What do you want? I have a class." I tell him as I looked at my phone.

"What is up with you two?" He asked again and Kyle nodded his head, in agreement.

"What is with us? I am doing my work and he is doing his." I said like it is the most obvious thing ever.

"Sure." Elliot said rolling his eyes. "Him roaming with a girl, you roaming with that guy- Cameron. Are you dating that guy?"

"Cameron? What? No! He is in my class." I said.

Elliot snickered and Kyle just look at him like Elliot just grew a horn on his head.

"What's wrong?" I asked Elliot.

"You two should admit your jealousy already." He says and my eyes widened.

"Who said that I am jealous." I said.

"Don't lie." He teased. "It's okay, Kyle and I are very good at keeping secrets. Just admit it."

"Ain't Carson your friend?"

"He is, but he can be really stupid like right now." Elliot said and Kyle nodded his head in agreement.

"Ain't you talking behind his back?"

"We are not talking behind his back, we are talking in front of him." He said.

"What?" I said.

And before I knew it I felt him behind me, his chest touching my back and his lips on my ear, "Did you miss me?"
