Tracy

"What do you want?" I ask him.

"I need help with my home work." He said showing me the books in his hand. "You finished the quizzes?"

"Why me?" I asked him.

"Because you are the only person who I can tolerate. The rest are just sh** a**h*** who thinks that people like me are sh** just because we are having fun in our lives unlike them"

I sighed at him. "Library." I said turning around. I didn't want to help, but well

Cameron was decent compared to the rest of the time. He give me enough spaces that I need. He sat at least few feet apart. I made him read and whatever he didn't understand I help him at that part and well, for once I realized how serious he can be.

"Thanks!" He said to me as he shut his book once we were done. "Can you be my tutor? I can't even believe I finish my homework." He said sounding proud.

"Well, we will see." I told him honestly. "Until next time." I said as I collected my bags and books along with me as I left.

I met Carson when I was walking in the hallway and he was exiting from the class. He waved at me and walked towards me. "Are you here for me?" He grinned and I laughed.

"I just came from the library."

He looked confused. "I thought you were going home?"

"I was-but I had some work."

"What work?" He pressed the topic.

I smiled. "Nothing important. How was class?" I asked him.

"It was definitely boring." He said as we started walking together.

"What are you doing now?" I asked him.

"I have basketball practice now, you want to come?" He asked looking hopeful.

"Sure." I said to him and his eyes light up.

"I have to change first." He said. "You want to wait somewhere while I get ready?" He asked.

"I'm going to get bubble tea. What would you like to have?" I asked him

"Anything." He said.

"Mango is fine? With tapioca or you want jelly?" I asked.

"No tapioca, just jelly." He said.

He give me his wallet and I looked at him in confusion. "Pay from my card." He said and I scowled at him.

"Keep it to yourself." I said really angry and his eyes widened. "I am sorry, usually I do that and"

"Forget it." I said. "I will get the drinks and see you soon." I said and I turned back. "When is your practice starting?" I asked quickly.

"In 45 minutes." He said. "I am sorry again."

"It's okay." I told him brushing it off. "I will be near the Gym area."

He nodded his head. "The changing room is somewhere there too. Be safe, baby." He said.

I moved quickly from the crowded hallway and towards the exit to go out. There is a small bubble tea store in campus, but not inside school. I called up Elliot and Kyle to ask them if they want one and they declined saying that they are fine.

Once my order was ready I moved towards the gym and Carson was standing outside, leaning on the wall-wearing his jogger with a navy blue t-shirt. He was playing with his phone and I saw a group of girls looking at him from the distant and was whispering and blushing while looking at him. Upon seeing me, they scurried away.

"You are here." He said smiling as I handed him the drink. I got the same drink as him. We were talking about our classes and sipping our drinks when people started showing up and entering the gym.

"You want to go inside and wait?" He asked and I nodded my head. The gym was a mini gym room.Carson explained that this is for practice only, the real big gym is used during real games and he said I should come to one of their games and I said I should.

People did come to watch their practices, a lot more people were in the gym than I expected.

"Is it usually like that?" I asked about the little crowds in the room.

"Most of the time." He said.

"I wonder what about the game day?" I joked.

"You have to fight for place, but if you want to come I can always keep a spot for you." He said with a smile.

Carson did those hand shakes with each players that we came across to reach the bleacher.

He made me sit right in front as he got got ready to join the others. He handed me his wallet, phone and bag even though he said he can put it in the locker, but I said it is fine. I saw Elliot and Kyle coming towards us and when they did Elliot blew in Carson's ear and Carson freaked out and turned back quickly and twist Elliot's arm.

Once he realized it was Elliot he left Elliot's arm and by now Elliot was whining about how painful his arm is feeling. I was laughing so hard that tears was falling down.

"You find this funny?" Kyle teased.

I nodded my head as I held my stomach. "That was pretty cute!" I teased them.

"Cute?" Carson muttered.

"You and I are best friends from now, Cool?" Elliot asked.

"Cool." I grinned at him while Carson put his forefinger on Elliot's head and pushed his head back with that finger.

"Stop dreaming." He said to Elliot. "Focus on the practice."

"Hey! She is cool with that." Elliot pointed out.

"See you later, Tracy." Kyle said as he pulled both of them from behind by their shirt.

"See you best friend." Elliot called out. "I miss you already."

Carson huffed at him, but he slightly waved a good-bye to me.
