When Adrien goes in search of someone to talk to, he is surprisingly welcomed as his superhero Cat Noir side into the Dupain-Cheng household, leading to spending more time with his classmate Marinette. While Adrien finds Marinette a bit difficult to understand when they are together at school, Cat Noir sees a different side to Marinette and begins to really value their relationship and maybe even see her in a different light. When Adrien's teacher, Ms. Bustier, then pairs him with Marinette for a project, suddenly Adrien is put into some situations where it becomes easier to see Marinette as more than "just a friend."
