Damaged Goods
Oliver"No, God! Please no!" I whaled at the top of my lungs. I couldn't take this. Why would she do this to me? I pulled her lifeless body into me, not caring about the blood. I sobbed into her shoulder. Whimpering for her to come back. Begging with whatever god there was to keep her alive. "Someone! Please! Help me! Anyone!" I screamed as loud as my lungs would allow me. Shortly after they barreled into the small, stained, white room. And then it was all over. MattI pulled my arm from Oli's lose grip then darted down the hallway. How could I let him see that? Would he tell someone? "Matt please, just wait!" He called from behind me, but my fast movement didn't falter. I needed to get put of this school. It feels like the walls are starting to cave in on me. I felt a tug on my hand, then before I knew it i was being pulled into a warm body. "Please tell me who did that to you." His voice was soft and tender, something so new to my ears. I reluctantly pulled away, he can't know. It could jeopardize everything. "Just drop it, okay? Forget you seen anything." I try one last time to turn and walk away but the boy who looks like smudged charcoal is planted firm in front if me. But to my surprise he says nothing. Instead he pulls up his sleeve, and my eyes wander to his wrists. Old scars wrapped around them like bracelets.
