Maybe it will be a stand-alone project.Being science-fantasy, perhaps I'm overthinking some things. For instance, Dierk Pinot's telekinesis is usually a weapon or shield, not a tool. It can be destructive, barely predictable, and hard to control. The details are usually window dressing.The Iron Marshmallow Gang is a looser, less paramilitary, and more problematic group than the Toy Soldiers. They're a surrogate, extended family: more of a voluntary tribe than a gang. They are not all superhuman. Or even sane. But if you need a crew to scrape happy-face decals off of doomsday devices...Then call somebody else!! Crazy ≠ Insane!! (Except for Dierk Pinot: dat bloke's bent! [Just saying.])Author's Note:Decades ago, I read an article in a newspaper insert about homeless and street children. One girl described children like herself as "iron marshmallows" because they're "hard on the outside but soft on the inside." Hmm.
