Izuku was still bullied but this time for having a weak and useless quirk, so he was still given the nickname Deku. Deku would use his quirk to try to avoid Kacchan by dealing Kacchan's mind and finding where Kacchan would be. Some were unavailable though. This is not mentioned in the fan fiction.
