Who in their right mind would ask a teenager to write a 4000 word essay on the works of F. Scott Fitzgerald anyway? To me, English class was simply the fine art of over analyzing very old pieces of literature. It was usually pretty easy for me to string together some intricate sounding sentences about these old novels. My English teacher loved me for it, but for this particular essay, I was utterly incapable of replicating the excellence of my previous work. All I knew was that Nick Carraway was definitely gay for Gatsby. _________ When two high school boys find themselves being forced into partnership for a class project, things get interesting. With Callaway's snarky remarks and hidden secrets, and Chance's accidental girlfriend, their path to completing high school is anything but straight. _________Discaimer: This is boyxboy so if this makes anyone uncomfortable, this is me warning you. Also, The Great Gatsby does not belong to me, copyright is to F Scott Fitzgerald. With the references to the novel in my story, I am in no way trying to mock or make fun of the novel, because it is one of my favourite books. Also, the reality of Nick Carraway's homosexuality is arguable, I simply used this opinion for the sake of my story and its plot.β¦
The Great Gatsby, F. Scott Fitzgerald's third book, stands as the supreme achievement of his career. This exemplary novel of the Jazz Age has been acclaimed by generations of readers. The story of the fabulously wealthy Jay Gatsby and his love for the beautiful Daisy Buchanan, of lavish parties on Long Island at a time when The New York Times noted "gin was the national drink and sex the national obsession," it is an exquisitely crafted tale of America in the 1920s.β¦

Scott Fitzgerald.β¦
Why in the Heavens would I do a fanfiction of the work of F. Scott Fitzgerald, now my favourite book ever? Why in the Heavens would put myself in the place of a fictional world with a fictional character? Why in the Heavens do I even make this? Why the Heavens?...Because I needed to let everyone know my little secret. What starts with a smell ends in surprising and interesting ways, at least in my case that happened. Well let's start on the story, shall we? I suppose we better do that because I might have little to no time later on.My first Reader x Character fanfiction novel could never get better! Entered in the 2017 WATTYS - READ IT!Cover by the amazing @sallaria_ann, the best illustrator EVER!β¦
[COMPLETED]'This is all just a fantasy. This is a child's playbook. There's no way this can be real...' Nick's reality is slowly turning to a fantasy, thanks to a certain Gatsby~ All credit for this version of The Great Gatsby goes to the mastermind of the 20's, F. Scott Fitzgerald.β¦
I do not own this. I just need to read this and my brain can only read on my silly little screen.β¦

Definitely NOT the Great Gatsby by F. Scott FitzgeraldSet in Jazz Age New York, the novel tells the tragic story of Jay Gatsby, a self-made millionaire, and his pursuit of Daisy Buchanan, a wealthy young woman whom he loved in his youth.β¦
I wrote this for my American Literature class. It's a spinoff of the great Gatsby. It is 9 chapters just like The Great Gatsby. The setting is that they are in high school, but with an interesting twist. I called it Ellismere high but titled the book Gatsby High. I wrote this book in about 8 hours so I apologize if it's not that great or has spelling and grammar errors as I'm sure it does. And as always please comment(I would love feedback), vote, or share.β¦
F.Scott Fitzgerald's The Great Gatsby brilliantly captures the disillusion of a society obsessed with wealth and status. Young, handsome and fabulously rich, Jay Gatsby appears to have it all, yet he yearns for the one thing that will always be out of his reach, the absence of which renders his life of glittering parties and bright young things ultimately hollow.β¦

One minor change can bear life and death to many, and perhaps Jay Gatsby outruns his treacherous fate. There are plenty of flowers in the garden, after all. Great Gatsby Fanfic.β¦
In the sparkling 1920's a young man meets a mysterious millionaire of which nobody knows a thing about. Please be noted that this is my version of the book and the movie both in one so there are some parts left out, be cautious of this.β¦
I began this piece of writing as a class assignment, but fell in love with the idea of becoming involved in Fitzgerald's complicated plot of The Great Gatsby, a story based in the debonaire 1930's.If you have not read The Great Gatsby, this is all you need to know to understand my short story: β¦οΈ In New York, there were two islands called the East Egg and West Egg. Although both were wealthy, the West Egg people had earned their money through work, while the East Egg consisted mostly of people who inherited their riches. β¦οΈ Mr. Jay Gatsby is a man who built up his money. He has fallen in love with the beautiful, yet already married, Daisy Buchanan. Sadly, he was never a man to understand true character. My character has fallen in love with Mr. Gatsby, but what she doesn't know is that love can be deadly.I have tried to mimic Fitzgerald's superfluous style of writing to have the readers fully immerse themselves in the era of the 30's. Enjoy.K_Kreative_KCopyright Β©β¦
A few small drabbles of scenes F Scott Fitzgerald didn't explore as much as I wished, so I did what I do best. I wrote.Originally this was for my English final but I thought I might as well post it here so yeah.β¦
"I swallowed a lump that had lodged itself in my throat" was I in danger? Gatsby has always loved Daisy but what happens when his wait is getting too long? Will darling Ruby satisfy his needs?β¦
So this is like an Alternative Ending (AE). (Not finished but will continue to upload new chapters as I finish them.) (I don't mind if you point grammar, spelling, or any other errors you find. I will remedy them as fast as I can.) Warning- curse words. What if nick had went to Gatsby's to swim? What if he managed to change the course of actions to unfold? Maybe Nick get to punch Tom in face? Who knows! You are in for a hell of a ride. (I don't own the character or original story)β¦
