Izuku: ... Sigh... why am I not dead?

This came from the greenette himself who did his best to become the hero his idle wanted him to be but it didn't exactly turn out that way.

He trained his ass off, perfecting his skills with OFA only to have it taken away from him since in their words "your body still can't take 100%".

This made the greenette furrow his brow in aggravation.

Izuku: What was the point of all that training if you were just gonna take it back?

He fell deeper and deeper through the darkness saying to himself...

Izuku: I can believe you... you even had the gall to give it to... him...

?: HA!!!!! Worthless nerd!!!!!

Izuku: And all of you... stood by and watched...

?: Sorry man...

?: The fights gone on long enough.

?: Were not doing this because we want to, we're doing this because the people want to feel safe again.

?: Izuku... I'm sorry.

The memories of his mother then came to mind...

Inko: Izuku...

Izuku: MOM!!!! Let her go!!! DONT HURT HER!!!

Inko: You've got to run! Go... GO!!!!

Izuku: Heh... now I really wish I was dead...

He closed his eyes but then heard the ruffling of cloths and opened his eyes. They slowly widened with him releasing a gasp of shock and horror...

He saw Mirio and Eri there, unconscious and falling with him into darkness and went wide eyed.

He didn't know where he was or why he was falling but he knew that they were falling fast and it was only a matter of time before they reached the bottom - if their ever was any.

He scurried over to them as much as he could but he wasn't getting far. He breathed out desperately to close the distance and get her into his arms.

Both have been through a lot and he didn't want to watch them die. He's already seen his mom parish. He didn't want the same to happen to them.

Mirio was still out of reach and yet, he was so close. His fingers lightly graced against his with the teen gritting his teeth.

Eri was getting too far and he didn't know what was in the beyond, so in a last ditch effort. He pushed Mirio over to her.

Since he was heavier, he ended up falling under her while she laid on his back. Using the chance, the teen mustered all of his strength and came to them...

Izuku: Just... a little... further...

He looked down, there was still no bottom but he felt that it was coming...

Izuku: Come on!!! COME ON!!!!!

He stretched out his arm as much as he could. He missed them both the first time but got it the second time.

Izuku: Yes!

He quickly pulled the two in and positioned himself to where his back was facing where they were falling...

Izuku: Sigh... at least you two are safe... for now at least...

He closed his eyes as they fell through the endless black. Eri's body was pale, hard, and ice cold and Mirio wasn't even breathing. It was like they were already dead, he pulled them closer, hoping to get this chill off of thier body but it didn't go away.

A tear fell from his eye...

Izuku: Hey... Eri?

Nothing...

Izuku: Mirio?

Still nothing...

Izuku: You're guys are ok, right?

Again nothing...

Izuku: ...

He curled himself around them, hoping that his body would warm her up but still nothing . The boy began to silently cry in the soundless abyss but felt himself slowing down minutes later...

He opened his eyes to an orange light that intensified. He groaned and gritted his teeth from the radiant light but heard...

?: Strange... you are not suppose to be here...

He opened his his eyes and saw a ball of black that was so huge that it made the three look like specks of dirt.

He didn't know why but he guessed that the voice came from said ball and the creepiest part was that it didn't have a face or eyes and yet he knew it was looking at him...

?: I believe that you were suppose to pass on, you and that other... thing... yet you are here.

Izuku: ...

He knew he had no chance against whatever this thing was. He knew that he couldn't protect Eri or Mirio either - should this thing want to do them harm but he would try anyway...

Izuku pulled them behind him and said...

Izuku: Who are you?

Xalga: Xalga... The Forgotten...

Izuku: ... The Forgotten what?

The shadowy being lowered their nonexistent eyes at him. What more was he suppose to say? But then he caught on to something that was in Izuku's head...

Xalga: Anger...

Izuku: ...

Xalga: Rage...

The teen glared looking down...

Xalga: Frustration, Injustice, the feeling of being betrayed... it dwells within you, boy.

Izuku: How about you stay the hell out of my head?

Xalga: ...

Izuku: If you're here to tell me something then spit it out. If you're just gonna kill us - get on with it and stop wasting my time.

Xalga: I am a divine being. I do not take lives.

Izuku: "Divine?" Like God? Pfft! Yea right.

Xalga: I may not be like the "Great One" but I am just as strong if not stronger than any other being -

Izuku: Look, are you trying to get to some point?

Xalga: ... I can see that you never were this rude before.

Izuku: Really? What gave it away?

Xalga: Sarcasm is unbecoming of you. Very well...

They began falling again...

Izuku: !!!!!

Xalga: You asked me what I wanted and I didn't give you my answer. You see, I was stripped away from my reality eons ago because of the threat I posed on the multiverse and now that you're here, I am able to finally get out.

Izuku: What!?!?!?

The being's essence then started to merge with Izuku...

Izuku: HEY!!!!!

Xalga: Fear not. You have been granted a gracious opportunity.

Izuku: I don't WANT your opportunity!!!!! Just kill me or let me fall to my death!!!!

Xalga: As I said before, I cannot kill or let you be killed. You have not been sent here on a whim. I see this as -

Izuku: DON'T YOU SAY I-

Xalga: Fate.

The being was now completely merged with Izuku...

Xalgo: You will have extraordinary power and prowess. My ability will make you what you've wanted to be in the past.

Izuku: Wha-

Xalgo: A hero...

The teen's chest tightened up, he was physically in pain and he could feel all that was going on in him.

Everything around him, he could see it, he could see everyone and everything. He exhaled as if he took his last breath but before he knew it, he found himself falling out of the soundless void and through pillow like clouds of moisture.

Izuku: (Gasp)!!!

He and Eri literally just missed being hit by a plane. They were about four miles up in the air as the boy looked at the little girl falling uncontrollably.

Just like before, he scurried over to her, taking her into his arms and growled...

Izuku: HOW ARE YOU JUST GONNA START OCCUPYING MY BODY AND LEAVE ME FALLING!?!?!

Xalgo: Wasn't that what you wanted?

Izuku: OOOOOOH SO YOU HAVE HUMOR NOW!?!?!??

Xalgo looked at the beautiful white coat that covered the wasteland and said...

Xalgo: It's been so long since I've seen earth. The last time I was here, I was nearby swallowing other planets...

Izuku: STOP REMINISCING AND HELP ME STOP FALLING!!!!!

Xalgo: You need only to say it and it'll come true.

Izuku: What!?!?!?!

He was confused but didn't have much time to think about what it meant. He closed his eyes as he was about five seconds away from the ground and yelled out...

Izuku: STOP!!!!!

The second he said it was exactly what happened. He didn't know it though, he thought that he was suppose to impact with the snowy ground any second now.

Izuku opened one eye and looked around to see that he and the others were suspended in the air. He wasn't floating or flying at the moment, he was just there...

Izuku: ... Uh...

He blinked...

Izuku: ... Float?

Now, he was floating. He raised an eyebrow and looked around...

Izuku: ... Fly.

It didn't take him long to understand his new ability. He looked at the sky and flew up a good distance and looked down only to see a snowy town in the far distance.

Izuku: Ugh! Can you at least tell me where we are?

Xalgo: Humorously, it was at random. But if you're looking for a more specific answer then I cannot help you. I have not been to earth since the dinosaurs.

He rolled his eyes and took his shirt off, covering Eri in it. He put Mirio on his back while holding said girl before walking towards where he saw the town, the scenery was actually really beautiful despite him walking alongside a very long highway with deer looking at him like he was crazy.

Eri: ... Mmm...

He quickly stopped and looked down to see the gray haired 6 - year - old show her adorable ruby red eyes.

She looked at the boy and gasped...

Eri: I-Izuku...

The boy smiled and hugged her, she hugged him back before looking at Mirio...

Eri: (Gasp)! Mirio!

Izuku: It's ok, he's find, just passed out...

Eri: A-Are you sure?

Izuku: Of course.

She looked at him and nodded before realizing where they were...

Eri: Where... where are we?

Izuku: I don't know... but I don't care...

Eri: ?

Izuku: Me and you have always drawn the short stick, and I'm tired of it...

Eri: ...

Izuku: You we're raised up around villains and when the heroes took you away, you've been stressing over everyone since...

She looked down, the fight between good and evil did give her bad anxiety...

Izuku: But no more.

She looked at him again as he turned towards the cars passing him up and walked backwards with his thumb out...

Izuku: Now, we can live a normal life. One where you can grow up normal and be happy - the three of us. Doesn't that sound like fun?

Eri: ... B-But... what about bad people?

He frowned, he had a power and just from using it three times he knew that it had no limit, making it powerful.

But he didn't care about that...

Izuku: Let the heroes deal with the bad people.

Eri: But... Mirio always wanted to be a hero. What if he wants to help out?

Izuku: Then he can. I won't stop him. Us on the other hand...

He hugged her and kissed her on the cheek saying...

Izuku: We have a life to get to and fun to have. You and me.

She stared at him and looked at the area. It did look peaceful and she's never seen so much snow before.

Could they really live a normal life here? She liked the fact that she got to give Mirio his Quirk back but hated to see him in pain behind her.

She knew that he'd do whatever it took to save lives. It made her nervous but he's always came out on top - even without his quirk...

She also didn't like that Izuku suffered an onslaught from Chisaki for her too. A lot of heroes were injured and some were even killed, just trying to rescue her.

Putting on a brave face, she looked at him and nodded energetically...

Eri: Y-Yea! A normal life!

Izuku: That's the spirit!💧Though I wonder how Mirio'll take it.

Eri gave way to a small smile...

Eri: He'll be shocked, but I think he'll understand.

Izuku: Yea, same.

He put her down and said...

Izuku: You've haven't seen this much snow, right?

Eri: No.

Izuku: Well, let me show you how to make a snowball.

Eri: Ok!

Xalga: Are you sure that this is a wise choice?

Izuku: ...

Xalga: My merging with you - alone gives you superhuman strength and speed. Not only that but my ability makes you the most powerful being in this existence. Are you sure you don't -

Izuku: Yea, I'm sure.

Eri: Hm?

He looked at the sky with a smile...

Izuku: I'm done trying to live up to everyone's expectations. I wanted to be a hero and that only got my mom killed and my so - called friends to turn their backs on me. This is what I want.

Xalga: ...

Izuku: They want to be heroes? Well, now they can be. But as for me... Screw the Hero Life...

Eri: Izuku?

He looked at her...

Izuku: Heheh, sorry about that! Now about that snowball.

Mirio: Mm... huh?

Izuku looked back at Mirio who was just waking up. The blonde grabbed his head and said...

Mirio: Izuku... Eri... IZUKU!!!!

Mirio took the boy by the arms saying...

Mirio: You're alive.

Izuku: You're alive!

Izuku: Unfortunately.

Eri pinched him for that...

Mirio: Are you ok? You're not hurt, are you?

Izuku: Heh, I'm fine. It's nice to know you haven't changed...

Mirio: Heh you know I'm always gonna be the same old me... hey...

Izuku: ?

Mirio: You're mom...

Izuku: ...

Mirio: Is... is she-

Izuku: Mirio...

Mirio: ?

Izuku: Let it go.

Mirio: ...

The blonde looked it's his eyes see a dead green color. He tightened his jaw and looked away. He couldn't believe it. The heroes he thought were cool, intentionally letting Inko Midoriya become bait.

He sighed and looked at the teen saying...

Mirio: Well, anyway, where are we?

Izuku: Don't know. And I don't care. Right now, we're just waiting for a ride.

He then sat next to Eri with a small and said...

Izuku: So, you gonna stand there, Golden Bear? Or are you gonna help me teach Eri here how to make a perfect snow ball?

Mirio looked at the boy with a little bit of astonishment. He didn't want revenge, he didn't want payback. He just wanted to move on - something a lot of people don't wish on.

He could tell that the teen made up his mind on something but he hoped that it wasn't what he thought it was. Just like him, Izuku was a threat even without a quirk.

He sighed with a smile, whatever the teen made his mind up on, he had to respect. He at least owes the teen that.

Mirio: Yea! Alright Eri! Get ready to make the best snowball ever!
