So... this one is about as long as last night's... Hope y'all enjoy.

As a side note, @babyblue7990 said I can't blame her this time. *pouts*

...She is correct though. This was all me.

Dominic:

The sound of an explosion had me rushing out of my room. I had shoved everything into my bag and had it slung over my shoulder. Shawn rushed out of his own room right behind me, a dagger in each hand. I pulled a gun from the holster that I'd recently put on. There was a large cloud of dust coming from the living room.

Jordan came running from the opposite hallway, brandishing a pair of sais. "Where's Ely?" he asked as he stepped into the living room. Debris covered the room.

I cursed as the smoke started to thin and I saw Ely lying on the floor, covered in blood. I rushed to her side and dropped to my knees as my eyes slid over her body, taking in all of her injuries. There was glass imbedded in a multitude of small cuts in her arms and face. "Shit."

Shawn stood next to me and looked at her for a moment, "Is someone out to kill us? Or deter us from doing our jobs?" His eyes flew around the room before coming back to rest on Ely. He started muttering to himself, "Game plan... we need a game plan..."

Jordan dropped down next to me. "We need to get Ely to the med building."

Shawn licked his lips and then nodded in agreement. "Yeah. Med building..." his voice trailed off as he looked at me and Jordan blankly. "Um... Dom, you take her. J and I will scout out our new place. 911 me if you need me."

I dropped my gun in its holster and scooped Ely up. "Someone grab my bag." I kicked it towards Jordan, who slung it over his back, and then headed out the door and towards the stairs. I didn't bother with the elevator. It's not like Ely was all that heavy. I blinked in the bright light from the sun and headed in the direction of the med building.

Ely:

I attempted to open my eyes, but all I saw was a huge black dot. The edges of the dot were edged in light and I blinked, still trying to clear my vision. When I still couldn't see, I shut my eyes again and inhaled deeply which made me start coughing. My abs started to hurt and my ears were ringing, but eventually I could make out a steady, deep voice. "Calm down, Kitten. You're okay." I wasn't okay. I felt like I was hacking up a lung and getting a nice ab workout at the same time. This was going to hurt tomorrow... if I lived that long.

"What-" I tried to ask around my coughs.

"Kitten, you need to calm down. We're almost to the med bay, where we can get you a nice, cold glass of water. We'll talk then." Dominic answered my unfinished question.

I coughed again before burying my face against his shoulder. My throat was dry and I couldn't seem to catch my breath. After heading in the direction of the med building for a few more minutes, we finally made it.

Even over the ringing in my ears, which had begun to dull, I could hear the hub of activity as Dom stepped through the front door with me. I could hear Dom's voice booming out an order for something cold to drink and I flinched away from it. I was afraid to open my eyes again, since the last time hadn't been overly successful, but once my coughing fit was over and Dom set me down on what I assumed was a bed, a gentle voice on the other side of me said, "It's safe to open your eyes now, Sweetie. You're safe." A part of me didn't want to, but I followed her suggestion anyways and slowly slid my eyes open, reaching for Dom's hand at the same time.

I blinked a couple of times before panic set in. "Dom, I can't see!"
