This chapter isn't completely finished... Mostly because apparently my kidlets have forgotten what a bedtime is and because I spent a lot of time staring at a blank page... BUT Fridays are Assassin days, so I figured I'd leave y'all with this piece of awesomeness.

Please leave comments to let me know what y'all thought. :D

Ely:

I was awoken by a bright light flashing on. I kept my eyes closed until I realized someone had turned the overhead light on in the bedroom. "What's going on?" I asked as I sat up and rubbed my eyes.

Jordan and Dominic were doing the same thing as I was, so I turned to look at Shawn expectantly. His fingers were on the light switch and he was dressed in a pair of black shorts. His hair was spiked back, but the thing I really noticed was his lack of a shirt.

Jordan's voice was gravely from sleep as he muttered, "What the hell, Man!?"

Shawn's lips tilted up into a half smile, "You've been on vacation long enough, Jordan. It's time to get back to work, which means early morning training again." He sounded too happy about getting us out of bed so early.

Jordan dropped back onto his bed and threw the dark blue comforter over his head. Dominic stood up and stumbled out of his blankets. He seemed to have been wrapped up in them tightly enough that he had trouble untangling his legs.

"Jordan, get up." Shawn hadn't moved from the doorway, but now he leaned against it with his well-muscled arms crossed over his chest. His dark eyes watched Jordan carefully as he stepped aside to let Dominic step past him.

"Don't wanna." Jordan muttered. He was still buried under his covers when Dominic appeared in the doorway a few moments later and handed a large cup to Shawn before he disappeared again. Shawn nodded his thanks and moved closer to Jordan's bed.

I watched with wide eyes as Shawn announced, "Get up now, or you'll regret it."

Jordan muttered an obscenity and still didn't leave the comfort of his bed. Shawn sent a smirk in my direction as he upended the cup directly over Jordan. Jordan's squeal reached a pitch that I didn't realize he could reach as he leapt out of the bed and flung the blanket and sheet on the floor. He shook his head and droplets of water flew everywhere. Jordan muttered something that I probably didn't want to hear and glared darkly at Shawn before he stalked out of the room.

I slid out of bed quickly, not wanting to get the same treatment Jordan had. It didn't take long to get ready since I would take a shower once I got done with training. I pulled on a pair of black leggings with a grey sweatshirt. The sweatshirt hung off one shoulder, showing off the strap of the tank top underneath it. I quickly gathered my shortish blonde hair into a bun and jabbed a ton of small bobby pins into my head. I glanced outside and grimaced. The sun wasn't even starting to make an appearance yet.

I moved out to the living room where Shawn was waiting for us. "Ready, Babe?" I gave a reluctant nod. We hadn't been training as intensely since Jordan had been injured, and I had hoped to continue the trend since it meant we hadn't been getting up as early.

Dominic stepped out of the kitchen. He tossed a pink water bottle in my direction and I quickly stepped out of the way. It hit the carpet with a dull thud. I looked at Dominic with my eyebrow raised. "Really?" I bent down to pick up the metal water bottle.

Dominic grinned at me, "You need to work on your reflexes. What if that had been a knife?"

I shot him a skeptical look again and replied, "Then it would have landed on the floor... just like my water bottle did."

Jordan stepped out of the hallway and before he could process what was happening, Dominic threw Jordan's bright orange water bottle at him. Jordan's dark eyes tracked its motion as it arched through the air and fell at his feet. Dominic sighed, "We don't just need training. We need extra training."

Jordan grinned in my direction as he shot back, "At least I have an excuse." He bent over and grabbed it.

Shawn grabbed the dark blue water bottle, which left Dominic with his green one. "What are we working on first?" I asked as I followed them out of the apartment.

"We'll just work on simple hand to hand combat at first." He replied as he turned around to lock our door.

Jordan groaned, "I'm going to die." He muttered as we walked down the wide hallway.

I frowned at the lack of lighting in the hallway and asked, "What happened to the lights?" As we headed towards the elevator.

Faint moonlight shone in the window at the end of the hall behind us, but it was still almost too dark to see the boys. Luckily, I was able to see them well enough to tell all three of them had stopped. Shawn sighed, "As long as no one is planning to break into our place, I don't care why there aren't any lights on."
