Vienna's POV

"We almost thought you both ditched us" Charlotte commented as Ryan and I entered the V.V.I.P room which is only accessible to Ryan and his family, as he owns this place.

"Now why would we do that" I replied taking a seat.

"To celebrate your engagement in private maybe" Scarlett replied grinning, winking at me.

"You speak a little too much for your age, don't you" I replied teasingly.

"Tell me something new" She said dramatically flipping her hair back.

"Anyways, as tempting as the idea of staying back alone at home was..." I paused.

"But family is important too" I continued entwining my fingers with Ryan's and placing my other hand Samantha's hand, who was sitting just beside me as she just smiled warmly and blinked her eyes in agreement at me.

"Very important" Ryan replied as I rested my head on his shoulder and he placed a gentle kiss on my head.

"So what are we drinking?" I asked with enthusiasm as Ryan looked at me surprised.

"You and drinking?" He mumbled in a low voice, in a questioning manner with a little chuckle but as I was sitting so close to him I managed to hear him.

"David has ordered, our drinks must be arriving soon" Scarlett replied.

"Our drinks?" Ryan raised the question.

"I'm sure you mean our drinks..." He paused pointing at every one of us except Scarlett and Charlotte.

"Not yours. As you see, honey, you both are just seventeen and you might get entry in the club because of me but no, you do not get to drink the adult stuff...not under my watch at least" He continued.

"I'm with Ryan on this one" Samantha said.

"I knew it" Charlotte mumbled but she didn't seemed too fazed by the fact that they were not allowed to drink alcohol but on the other hand Scarlett looked a little upset.

But I don't think she's too keen to have alcohol anyways, rather I think she just doesn't wants to feel left out while all of us consume alcohol in front of her.

I do understand that feeling though...when you are a teenager you are just so eager to become an adult but when you actually enter adulthood you realise that the days you were wishing to pass by soon, were in fact the best days of your life.

"Then why are we even here? We were better off home" Scarlett replied pouting.

"Oh but Ryan, I did order for them...especially for Scarlett" David said as I could see Ryan raising an eyebrow at him.

"Oh. Did you?" Scarlett asked with a small smile.

"Yes of course..." He paused.

"Soft drinks" He continued before bursting out laughing as a few seconds later we all followed too.

But I stopped as soon as I noticed Scarlett's long face and her eyes which were now moist and I could tell that she was just seconds away from crying.

"Ryan. Shush" I mumbled to him as he immediately stopped laughing noticing what I noticed.

Everybody stopped laughing sensing the sudden tension in the air, except for David.

Scarlett wasn't looking anywhere else but at him and her intense glare finally made him stop and realize what was going on.

"You guys are so mean..." Scarlett said finally breaking into tears.

"Especially you" She continued pointing a finger at David who now looked guilty.

"Scar..." David spoke only to be interrupted by Scarlett.

"Shut up!" She snapped before getting off her seat and stamping her way out.

"Scar. Sweetheart, wait" Ryan called out and so did everybody else but ignoring all of us she just walked out.

"I'll go and get her" I, Ryan, Samantha and Charlotte said at the same time and looked at eachother confused for saying the exact same thing at the exact same time.

"You guys stay back. I'll go and get her. I think it's me that she's specifically pissed at" David said surprising all of us before walking over towards the exit.

"David..." Ryan called out as David stopped in his tracks.

"Yeah" He asked.

"Just make sure she's safe and doesn't gets herself in any kind of trouble" Ryan replied as David just nodded and headed out.

"I have rarely seen her cry. She's always so cheerful and happy..." I paused.

"I never thought such a little thing would hurt her like that" I continued.

"Yeah, it's strange. She's never been this sensitive" Samantha said as Charlotte nodded.

"What are you thinking?" I asked glancing at Ryan who looked lost in his thoughts.

"Nothing" He replied pecking my lips which made me smile.

Soon a waitress arrived with our drinks but nobody touched them as we were waiting for David and Scarlett.

"It's taking them too long" I mumbled confused.

"Yeah. I think I should probably go and check on Scar" Charlotte replied and I could see the concern her eyes held for her twin.

But just as Charlotte was about to leave the door opened revealing Scarlett and just a few seconds later David showed up behind her too.

"We are sorry Scar. We didn't mean to hurt you" I said smiling.

"Yeah. Scar. We are sorry" Landon said with an apologetic smile.

"No. It was my fault...I just overrated" Scarlett replied before getting back on her seat.

"Okay then let's not keep our drinks waiting" Samantha said as we all agreed and grabbed our drinks.

"To Ryan and Vienna" Samantha said raising her glass.

"Ryan and Vienna" Everybody else said before gulping their drinks down.

"Are you sure? Love" Ryan asked interrupting me as I was about to go for my drink.

"I mean you are not a good drunk and we both know that" He added as I just raised my glass, winking at him.

"To us" I mumbled before gulping down the drink in one go as he just shook his head at me.

"To you...my world" He said before taking a sip of his drink and giving me a lingering kiss on my lips.

Well I know he is right...I'm not at all a good drunk. I cannot handle alcohol, rather alcohol handles me once it gets in my system and moreover I'm not really a big fan of alcohol, I think it's overrated.

I mean I could never understand why people have created so much hype about alcohol...when it does nothing but makes you lose control.

But anyways, it seems like tonight I want to lose control too...because I'm just happy.

And I would never get drunk if I was alone but right now I'm with my most trusted people...I'm with my Ryan and I know he'll handle me...more like take care of me.

"Let's go downstairs and dance" I suggested as Samantha chuckled.

"Who are you girl? And where's the great 'always tensed Vienna'?" She said mockingly.

Well what's the point of coming to a club if we are just gonna sit in a luxurious room, having drinks? We could have done that back at home too. Right?

"Shut up, Sam and let's go" I replied grabbing her arm, ready to drag her downstairs.

"Alright. It seems like you are really willing to have fun tonight" She said getting off the couch.

"Vienna. Love, trust me, that's not the kind of crowd you should be mingling with" Ryan said grabbing my wrist gentling, stopping me.

"Then come with us...we all are enough to make our own crowd" I replied as he just smiled at me before mumbling an 'alright' and all of us made our way downstairs.

Hey guys,

I know it's kinda short chapter but I had to stop right here because I need to change the POV and I didn't wanna do that in the middle of a chapter so yeah.

Next chapter in Ryan's POV!

Who's excited? It's been quite a while since I wrote a chapter from his POV.

And also what do you think about David and Scarlett?

Do you think there's something cooking between them?

Or maybe it's just normal friendship?

Anyways,

Please vote, comment and share.

Until next time.

Love,

Crystal ❤️
