Jungkook felt his blood go cold when Y/N said that. He tried maintaining a reluctant face but he was breaking into cold sweat. He felt pressured.

"Oh..." He replied

"Oh?" Y/N asked repeating

"I mean of course it's familiar, you lost your memory, you were in the hospital. So, it will be familiar" Jungkook said as he sighed in relief as he found a way.

"Hmmm..but" Y/N paused

"But?" Jungkook asked

"It's not the hospital, it's.....you" She said

"Me?" Jungkook said pointing at himself as panick rose in him

"Yeah...I feel like I have been in this situation before. You sitting infront of me while I am in the hospital bed" Y/N said

"I don't know...maybe we were like this in our past life" Jungkook said laughing it off

Y/N nodded sighing. But little did she know there was a hidden meaning behind his words. It was only one sentence but contained, indescribable emotions and situations which Y/N was left unknown to for now.

"Anyways, you hungry?" Jungkook asked as he saw her eyes light up

"Certainly" She said

"Pizza and fries it is?" Jungkook asked giving a soft smile

"How did you know?" She asked confused at how Jungkook guessed her preferences

"You're easy to read" Jungkook replied

"Are we allowed to eat those at the hospital?" Y/N asked concerned about breaking the rules and regulations

"Well you see...A patient should be happy to be healthy and there is no better treatment than giving them their favourite food" Jungkook explained

"Right...." Y/N agreed

Jungkook just stood there admiring her her. He found her adorable at the moment as she bit her bottom lip with her eyes wide as she stares at the floor. He had a soft smile plastered over his face. His eyes slightly watered as he thought of her shaking body earlier. He blinked of the tears that threatened to fall. At the sudden movement of Jungkook, Y/N came back to reality from her staring competition with the floor.

She looked at Jungkook to see his hand in his eyes.

"Did something go in your eye?" She asked

"Huh? Oh yeah" Jungkook answered looking at her

"Aren't you going to get me my food?" Y/N asked looking with pleading eyes

Jungkook chuckled at her cuteness.

"Going" He said coming forward making Y/N confused

Jungkook leaned over and placed a soft kiss on her cheeks. Y/N's cheeks reddened as she looked away trying not to address the situation. Jungkook smiled satisfied at her flustered state.

"I'll be back" He said patting her cheek before going out

Y/N sat there while she kept on thinking of the moment that occurred just a while ago. She felt butterflies in her stomach but she had no idea what they meant. She kept thinking as time passed.

'Am I starting to like him? No it can't be'  She thought to herself

Her attention was diverted when the curtains opened. A  guy entered the ward.

"You came back so f- ohh" She got cut as she looked at the person.

"Hey..." The person said

"Hi..." Y/N replied akwardly

"How are you feeling?" The person asked

"Better than before" Y/N said

"Do you remember me perhaps?" The guy infront of her asked

"I do, your Jungkook's friend" Y/N said as blush crept on her skin

That moment Jungkook entered the room. He looked at a male figure and immediately understood who it was.

"Oh...Taehyung hyung" He said

"Oh Jungkook your back" Taehyung said giving a smile

"Yeah...your food" Jungkook said picking up the package in his hand showing it to Y/N

"Jungkook I need to talk to you"

"Wait, let me just serve her"

Y/N smiled at Jungkook as she mouthed a 'thank you' to him. Jungkook smiled at her warmly as he unpacked the food for her.

"I can do it myself. You should go, your friend is here" Y/N said trying to do self service

"It's okay, he can wait. Let me do it for you. The food is still warm, it will be difficult for you" Jungkook explained

"So? What am I? A seven year old" Y/N said annoyed

"Younger than that" Jungkook said setting the disposable plates he bought

Y/N rolled her fuming eyes as they met with Taehyung. He smiled at her as she smiled back akwardly.

"Why don't you join us?" Y/N said asking him to eat with them

Taehyung smiled at the cute yet polite gesture. Not being able to deny, he nodded. Y/N felt quite comfortable around him for some reason, so she decided to serve him as Jungkook was busy doing god knows what.

She picked up the plate. She put her hand in the food container only to retreat it back with a hiss. Both Jungkook and Taehyung flinched when they heard her. Jungkook's eyes widened.

Jungkook left whatever he was doing and took her hand. He examined it as Y/N tried to take it back.

"I told you not to touch these. Why the hell are you so stubborn?!" He said getting frustrated

"Sorry...." She said in a low voice.

Jungkook felt a memory run down his lane. It reminded him of how he had even neglected her even when they were together but she would not protest...

Y/N was feeling sick as she felt the urge to just hold onto someone. She was sitting beside Jungkook who was busy playing his video games.

She went forward and hugged his arm. He retracted it back from her. She felt a little upset that he did so.

Thinking he must not have noticed, she again put her arm and leg around him as she clung onto him like a koala.

Jungkook was in the middle of an intense game. He was about to finish it but having Y/N cling onto him was making it difficult. He kept on retracting his hand as she clung onto him even more.

Suddenly, the car crashed as the sign of game over came into the screen. Jungkook tsked in frustration as he threw his controller across the room in annoyance causing Y/N to flinch.

"What's wrong?" Y/N asked

Jungkook felt more and more annoyed as he harshly got himself out of her grip.

"Can you not be clingy when I am playing a game?! It's so annoying" He said raising his voice.

Y/N felt bad for ruining his mood. She apologized not wanting to annoy him.

"Sorry..." She said in a low voice

"I just felt ill... So I wanted to hug you"

"Whatever, just don't interrupt me when I am playing" Jungkook said not being bothered .

He felt displeased over the fact that his almost won game was interrupted to what seemed like a petty issue to him.

"Okay..." Y/N whispered quietly

"I think you should go home if you feel sick"

Jungkook stomped out of the room leaving an upset Y/N sitting by herself feeling guilty for expecting affection.

She got up quietly as she left the room to head for her house. She went around looking for Jungkook only to find him in the kitchen.

"I am leaving" she said to him

He just hummed in response as he ate his snack without looking at her.

"Bye" She said not receiving a response

That day Y/N left home with a heavy heart thinking she had annoyed him.

Jungkook felt as if someone had ran a truck over him as he found himself feeling guilty again at the repeated sight.

"It's okay, it's not your fault. Don't say sorry" He said lightly caressing her head

Y/N looked up at him and nodded. He turned back as he grip the tissue that was on the table.

'How stupid I must have been to choose a stupid game over her' He thought as he bitterly chuckled at how pathetic he was.

Taehyung sat there witnessing the whole situation. He kept on thinking how everything haf become. He watched as Jungkook served with a heavy expression and Y/N looked at him. He just hoped that something would not tear them apart again.

He hoped that Jimin would not be that barrier. That is what he was here for today.

Suddenly Y/N said something which caused both Taehyung and Jungkook to look away from what they were doing and look at the curtain.

"Oh hey Jimin"
