"So what?" I asked

"I will be going to the same country to study too," He said

I looked at him in utter disbelief

"What a joke," I said and laughed

His expression did not change and remained serious. I looked at him and my expression changed to a miserable one. He suddenly smirked

"But why?" I asked still not being able to accept it.

"What do you mean by why?" Jungkook asked with a scoff

"Why would you be going to the same country as me?!" I snapped at him making him smirk

"Already devastated? The answer to your question is, that very country is preferred by most of our countries for education and the best college is from that very place" He said as his smirk spread wider.

I did not speak a word. He suddenly came close to my face. I was quite startled at his sudden activity.

He then spoke with a bitter voice and gritted teeth.

"Imagine what will happen when I ruin your university life as well by telling everyone your true colours."

I did not speak a word but maintained my usual poker face. But I had to say something.

"Go on," I said in a challenging tone

"I am pretty sure you can ruin my reputation and life in university too. But can you stop me from sleeping with guys outside the university? I don't think so" I said in a mocking tone

I could see the rage in his eyes, hands curled up into a fist and jaw clenched. I was there standing and smirking at him.

"Fucking prostitute!" He barked at me.

My eyes started to water at the words of the person in front of me. I looked at him with disappointed and painful eyes but he didn't budge. My fists curled up as I felt the urge to hit him. I felt like telling him that he is misunderstanding me and shove the video on his face so I could prove myself. But I had to hold back my urge.

The bell rang signalling class was about to start meaning students will come in any time.

Jungkook went back to his seat rolling his eyes at me and not even giving a look of feeling sorry. I brushed off my tears and sat down.

ON THE DAY OF GRADUATION

I was busy getting ready to participate in my graduation. Fortunately, the results were outstanding. For the graduation ceremony, the school set a blue colour code. So I decided to go for something simple.

I put on a knee height blue, off the shoulder, high collar dress. I matched the outfit with blue heels. I am not a makeup freak, hence I just gave a small touch up. I was done dressing up and head for the ceremony.

As I entered today instead of getting glaring looks, everyone has given me a normal look. I guess they got bored of it considering it's the last day.

I went to the field and stood in a corner. I looked around and saw the boys and girls already doing strange gestures. I guess they were trying to get my attention when I spaced out. They gave me a little wave and the girls made gestures saying I was looking good. I gave them a tight smile.

I was sitting in a corner waiting for the ceremony to start. It has been delayed for some reason. I decided to go and spend time on the rooftop, the only place which was peaceful at school for the past few years.

I walked up there and stood to enjoy the beautiful scenery of the night view of the city. The ceremony is being held at night. My parents and Baekhyun will be here when the ceremony starts. Students have to be here earlier, I have no idea why.

While I was enjoying the view. I felt someone come and stand beside me. I glanced at the side and saw Taehyung. Not saying anything I looked back at the view. There was complete tranquillity, the only sound was the breeze brushing against our skin sending a shivery sensation.

"Not much time till you and Jungkook leave," He said and diverted his eyes to me

I just sighed. I was tired of everything happening. This was a chance to forget him but he is moving too. My luck was never favourable to me, and I am not expecting it to change to something better shortly. If anything it can only get worse

"Nothing to say? Any complaints?" he asked

"Not like anybody is going to listen and solve them," I said and chuckled

"Tell me, maybe I can try," He said

"Huh! What are you? A magician?" I said mocking

"I may be," He said

I gave him the 'really' look. He just flashed his infamous box smile making me roll my eyes.

I looked back at the view. There was silence. I was so lost in the scene, I didn't realise Taehyung was staring at me the whole time. He suddenly spoke

"I wonder how you dealt with Jungkook for all these years"

"How I dealt with his asshole friends. Just the fact that he was two levels more difficult and idiotic" I said

He giggled. I smiled lightly at my own statement.

"Aren't you going down?" He asked

"Yeah"

I went downstairs just to see Lina clinging onto Jungkook's arms. I just sighed at them. Taehyung came from behind and saw what I was looking at. He secretly rubbed my back to comfort me and said

"It's okay...I'll be back"

He left and I went back to the corner I was sitting in and witnessing my ex and a bitch having fun.

"Boo!!" Someone said

I flinched at the sudden voice. I look back to see Kai.

"What the fuck!" I said

"I didn't fuck anyone," He said putting his hands up in the air

I hit his arm and he dramatically held it.

"Where is Irene?" I asked

He pointed somewhere and I look to see Irene and Hoseok were talking while laughing. I smirked at the sight

"They look like a couple made from heaven," He said smiling like an idiot

"Why so much joy in life?" I asked him

"I can ask the same thing for your depression" He stated

I glared at him. Someone pecked my cheeks and I turned around to see my lovely brother. I got up from my seat and hugged him.

"Kai meet Baekhyun" I introduced

Kai had an unknown expression on his face.

"You didn't tell me you got a new boyfriend," He said

I looked at him in disbelief and I looked at Baekhyun who had a 'what-the-fuck-is-wrong-with-him' look.

"He is my older brother," I said with gritted teeth

"Oh.....oooooh" He shouted

"Oooh... sorry sorry... Hello hello" He apologised and Baekhyun smiled at him

I could tell that was a sarcastic smile. Kai hurriedly left feeling embarrassed.

"Who on earth was that guy?" Baekhyun asked still having on that sarcastic smile

"A friend," I said

We both sat down and started talking to each other. About different things. While we were talking I was getting lost when looking at Jungkook and Lina's activities. Baekhyun noticed it.

"Your brother over here is pretty handsome, you don't have to look there"

I was talking to Jimin about how Y/N dealt with the asshole side of Jungkook for three years straight. He agrees with me. Y/N is someone very pure and we were very wrong to judge her without enough explanation. She went harsh on us but it's completely understandable considering our deeds. It's only humane for her buttons to be pushed like this. As we were busy talking Jungkook suddenly approached us and spoke

"Hyung can I talk to you?.. Privately?" He said pointing towards me

I looked at Jimin and he looked back. He secretly nodded at me and I turned to face Jungkook who was looking at me with a deadly expression which sort of freaked me out.

"Yeah sure. Let's go" I responded

We went to the rooftop to talk. I shoved my hands in my pocket as they were freezing. I shifted my body towards Jungkook who was already looking at me with a poker face.

"So what did you want to talk about?" I asked

"Will your answer honestly if I ask you?" He asked with a stern voice as he crossed his arms

"Uh yes," I said

There was of pin-drop silence for a while. The atmosphere got intense. The breezes flowing got shivery than usual. The volume of the surroundings got lower with every passing second as the air only got thicker. Jungkook spoke

"What's going on with you and Y/N?" He asked

"M-Me and Y/N?"

'Shit! Why did I stutter?!' I mentally cursed

"Yes! YOU and Y/N" He said putting emphasis

"Nothing is going on," I said a little confidently

"Oh don't you lie to me. I have seen you talk to her more than few times nowadays. And don't you dare tell me you were warning her cause I know you were not"

I kept silent.

"Hyung, you know right going around with her is a risk? She is a slut. She will use you and throw you away and I don't want anything to happen to you, 'cause you're like a brother to me" He said in a soft voice

As much as I wanted to correct his misunderstanding I knew I could not. I promised Y/N not to until and unless he corrects himself.

"Jungkook are you sure Y/N cheated on you? It could be a trick as well" I said trying to give him a hint

"Definitely! I have the pictures, you have seen them too."

"Those pictures could be fake"

"What do you mean?"

"I mean they could be made up or it could be someone else in the picture"

"What are you saying? It's was clearly Y/N in the picture sleeping with another guy. Why would the pictures be fake?"

I looked at him in disbelief. I mean why is my friend such an idiot? Although we have thought those pictures were true and misunderstood Y/N but the fact that we all only got a glance at it when Jungkook showed it to us fights it. Now I understand why Y/N does not want to tell him by herself rather wants him to know by himself...
BECAUSE SHE WANTS HIM TO USE HIS BRAIN THAT IS JUST SITTING THERE NOT PROCESSING ANYTHING!!!

I mentally face palmed myself and took a deep breath to speak again

"Jungkook have you ever even tried finding out about it?"

"Why are you suddenly supporting her so much huh? Have you started liking her or something?" He challenged

"What if I say yes?"
