Waking up in the morning from my annoying alarm clock I pulled myself out of bed, I didn't want my mom to come and yell at me when she's going through a lot. Putting my clothes in the hamper I saw two of Ash's shirts I totally forgot he lent me one after the party and one the other night. I picked them up and threw them on my bed. I quickly hopped in the shower and got ready for school. I combed my hair leaving it down for today, putting navy blue shorts on and a white tight t-shirt.

I ran down the stairs put my worn out white converse on and looked at the clock. I still had ten minutes before I had to leave school. Surprisingly my mom was making breakfast this morning instead of skulking in her room.

"Morning Mom."

"Oh morning sweetie." She said turning around giving me a big smile. Is she okay?

"What are you making?"

"Breakfast, here." She placed bacon, eggs and toast in front of my eyes.

"Thanks mom!" I said digging into it right away. I'm not really a fan of breakfast but since my mom made it I wanted to be nice. I poured myself some orange juice and gulped it down. I kissed my mom goodbye before grabbing my bag and placing mint gum in my mouth.

Getting outside I grabbed my iPod and put on 'How to be a Heartbreaker' by Marina and the Diamonds. Looking up from my iPod I saw Ash and his brothers and I didn't want them to see me so I quickly hid behind a nearby bush, when I thought they were gone I tried to get out of the bush my it was caught on my t-shirt.

"Great!" I whisper, shouted at myself.

"Need help there?" Mt head snapped up to a grinning Ash.

"Um uh yeah." I sighed. This is so embarrassing! I took out my earphones as Ash was helping me. Once he unhooked me from the pointy bush he started to smirk at me.

"Thanks." I said trying not to make eye contact.

"Why were you in the bush anyway." He started to laugh.

"Um I." I couldn't finish my story because Ash was laughing so hard. Way to make me feel better.

"You're something Adrianna." He said trying not to laugh.

I rolled my eyes and we continued to walk to school. Finally getting to school Ash was greated by Erica of course. She ignored me and started to grab is jacket and his arms, like no stop.

"Hey Ash." She said in a flirty tone. You have to be kidding me. I looked at her and then at Ash obviously he was paying attention to her boobs falling out of her shirt and not her face! I rolled my eyes and walked away trying to find Kylie I really needed someone to talk to besides my mom about what happened this past couple of days its driving me crazy!

Finally spotting her she was laughing with those girls I could care less about to even remember their names. Should I go over? I mean they're just girls right? Just girls that's funny more like cheetahs about to make you their pray. Well I can't keep standing here like a loner. I let my feet slowly take me to them while looking down. As I approach Kylie and her new friends? I feel very awkward because the girls just stare at me.

"Um hey Kylie."

"Oh hey Adrianna." She said but she didn't look very happy to see me.

"Um can we talk?" She says out of the blue.

"Uh yeah, sure." She says pulling me a couple feet away from Molly, Taylor, and Destiny, now I remember their names!

"Um what do you want to talk about?"

"Well since we're sophomores we have two years left in this stupid school and well I think its time for us to um find who we are." She said looking nervous.

"Yeah I mean that's what high school is for." I said smiling.

"Adrianna I don't think you're listening to what I'm trying to say."

"What are you talking about?"

"Well ever since I meet Molly, Destiny and Taylor I found out that I have a lot more in common with them then I do you and well I think its time for us to go are separate ways." She said bringing her hand to lay on my shoulder. I quickly pushed it off and have her a dirty look.

"Are you dropping me as a friend? No a best friend!?" This felt like a break-up.

"Adrianna, you and I both know we weren't going to be friends forever right?" Is this a joke?

"Wow Kylie I thought you were better then that! WHAT THE HELL?" I screamed which made people look at us.

"Adrianna calm down."

"Calm down?! Kylie Are you fucking kidding me?" Her eyes went wide because she has never heard me cuss.

"I thought you would understand. I mean yesterday you seemed perfectly fine sitting by yourself."

"Who are you? Because you are not the same Kylie that I thought was my best friend." I said rolling my eyes to keep them from watering. I can't believe she's doing this!

"Excuse me?" Was all she could say.

"What the fuck Kylie! My dad left my mom and I, I almost got hit by a car, and now you're dropping me as your best friend?" Her eyes went blank.

"Your dad left?"

"Yes he moved on!"

"Oh my god, Adrianna I am so sorry!"

"Stop! I don't need your pity! You didn't seem to care about me a minute ago so don't pretend you do now!"

"Adrianna, I didn't know or.." I cut her off.

"Or what? We wouldn't be having this conversation and you would be pretending to be my best friend?"

"Well, I" I cut her off again.

"I don't want to hear it, you're such a bitch. You always have been."

"What did you just say?" By this point twenty kids are watching our argument including Erica, Ash and his brothers. I can see them from the corner of my eyes but I don't care.

"I said you're a b-i-t-c-h." I repeated but said it slowly this time.

"I'd rather be a bitch then a whore." She said smirking at me.

"That's funny Kylie, very funny!"

"Well it's true!"

"Really now? Name one guy I've slept with!" I heard a couple of gasp. Great now everyone knows I'm a virgin!

"Whatever Adrianna, I'm glad I got rid of your ass you don't even know how clingy and annoying you can get! It was almost like you had a girl crush on me, I mean you always invited me to sleepover was it to see me undress?" She said putting her finger on chin looking around like she just told me off. The crowd all went OHHH.

"I mean maybe but when you told me you had herpes I was kind of grossed out and lost my interest in you..oops." I said mocking her, obviously I was bullshitting but it was okay because she was lying to everyone also. The crowd all said OHHH again but this time louder with extra whispers.

"You're a waste of my time." She said rolling her eyes.

"Well you're a waste of perfectly good air." The crowd roared again.

"You are such a bitch!" The crowd roared again just a little loader as she spoke.

"Kylie, you really have to stop talking about yourself. I forgot how conceded you could be." The crowd went crazy, everyone jumping and laughing. For sure I thought she was going to slap me across the face but all she did was stomped her foot and walked away with her new posy.

"So called best friend." I whispered to myself. All of the sudden I felt a bunch of kids giving me high fives and telling me good job. It was really shocking and surprising.

The bell rung for class and the day started off pretty slow probably because I was just sad. I noticed Ash wasn't in P.E probably ditching or something. After that pointless class was over I finally made it to chemistry.

Throughout the day I heard everyone still talking about what happened this morning. Saying 'good girl gone bad' I sort of laughed at the comment but I was defiantly not invisible today. My only worry was to bump into Kylie, I still can't believe she did that to me.

Walking in to chemistry we had to do a chemical lab which I was not looking forward to since I have that class with Kylie. Looking around I saw her way in the back with Molly. As soon as she saw me she turned towards Molly. Sure enough they were probably talking about me but whatever let them talk. They obviously don't have a life if they can't keep my name out of their mouth.

"Alright class I assigned you partners for this lab, you can see who your partner is on the screen. Once you do meet up with your partner at a table and begin the lab." My science teacher explained. I decided to wait for whoever was my partner to come to me, since I didn't feel like going to look at the screen. I felt an arm around my shoulder.

"Wow, I didn't know you had it in you." I looked up and was faced with Ash.

"You're in this class now?" I said sitting down on the stole and smiling.

"Yup I failed this class last year so I have to retake it."

"Of course you did!" I said laughing.

"I didn't know you even had a side of you like that." He said with a smirk.

"How many times have I told you, I'm not your average good girl." I said taking his arm off from around my shoulder. To be honest I didn't know I had it in me either. I guess we learn new things everyday.

"I like that side of you, you're a feisty little one."

"Don't remind me, I probably am the laughing stock of the school right now. I liked it better when no one knew who I was. Now everyone thinks I'm some crazy girl.

The lab teacher instructed us to begin the lab mixing some chemicals to make rainbow colors. Ash and I were practically laughing the whole entire time, that I almost couldn't breath. Finally getting finished with the lab the teacher came over to check how we did. If I say so myself it looked pretty cool.

But as soon as of the teacher came over the whole thing fell over with the liquid splattering onto the floor and I backed up before the chemicals could touch any part of me. Looking up I wasn't surprised as I should be when I saw who was holding the cord that was under our project.

"Did I do that?" She said pretending to gasp. "Oops, my bad." She added giving me a dirty look.

I couldn't believe she was acting like a child! Like seriously! I thought Erica was bad and to be honest I haven't ever talked to her or even gave her a chance, but Kylie as to be the worst! I can't believe she was my best friend! I've never seen her act like this to anyone! After staying after class to help clean up I finally went to lunch, luckily our grade wasn't affected and we can redo it later.

A few people I've never seen started saying hi to me has crazy as it sounds. I guess they didn't realize I can stick up for myself and Kylie didn't see it coming at all. I smiled at myself for doing that.

Minding my own business scrolling through my phone I felt someone else's presence near me. I looked up and saw Ash.

"Yes?" I said giving him a confusing look. As I brought my head up more I saw people wondering the something I was or that's what there face seem to say.

"Hey."

"Hi?" I said back still confused.

"what's up?"

"Nothing? Um why are you here?"

"Well because it's school and I have to be."

"No I mean-" He cut me off before I could finish.

"I know what you mean, and because you seemed lonely."

"Because I seemed lonely?" I said laughing.

"Yeah." He said smiling back at me.

"Ash, What do you need?" He started to chuckle.

"Money..."

"Of course you do." Laughing at me I threw him a five dollar bill.

"Thanks you're the best!" He laughed as he got up and walked to his brothers and a couple of girls.

"Mhhhmm." Since I had no one to hang out with at lunch I quickly got my homework out and began to work. At least I won't have to do it at home. Looking up I was surprised to see Kylie glaring at me giving the most dirtiest looks ever. I hope she knows it makes her look more uglier when she does them. I laughed to myself, in a way her faces were funny.
