When you're heartbroken everything changes around. Everything that you pictured is now gone and it can happen anytime for any reason.

Am I saying I'm heartbroken? Yes.

Everything around me was about to change. I have no clue what will happen in the future, I don't even have an idea. My life is just falling apart in front of me. Yes I know I sound very dramatic but I'm allowed to okay? I have no clue when I'm going to see Ash again. No clue when I'm going to see Rumor again and no clue when I'll be able to see my birth mother again.

My head was spinning. My heart was sinking.

It is the day of the Halloween party something everyone has been excited about expect for me because I know that means I'm leaving tomorrow. I didn't tell Ash that my dad confirmed it. Why? Because I couldn't see Ash hurt and I wanted him to enjoy tonight with all his friends. I didn't want to be the one to ruin his favorite time of year. I'll just tell him in the morning that way things will be easier when we say goodbye. I'll pack tonight when everyone is at the party, he won't notice.

My heart is pounded thinking about it. I wanted to scream and cry because I had no control over this situation.

"Hey babe" Ash came up behind me and kissed me on the forehead. I turned around and smiled back at him. Man I knew he was going to be my hardest goodbye.

"Hey, I just talked to Rumor she's is picking up our costumes for tonight." I told him imagining what Rumor would pick for us because I told her to just pick whatever she thinks would be cute but now that I think about it I'm not sure if that's the best idea I've had.

"Well what are you guys going to be?"

"It's a surprise." I just said knowing it was going to be a surprise for me too.

"Well whatever it is I'm sure you will look amazing." He said as he gave a small peck on the lips.

"Thank you baby." I love that I'm the only person that gets to see this side of Ash.

"What are you going to be?" I looked at him waiting for him to answer my question but he just repeated what I had said.

"It's a surprise." He laughed. I pretended to be shocked and threw a pillow at him.

I'm planning on getting ready at Rumors whenever she gets back from the store that way I'm able to get to know her and my birth mom better.

Ash had told me to put something cute on and even tho it was Halloween he still wanted to take me on a lunch date.

I put on a some ripped jeans with a cute top and added a cute jean jacket since it was somewhat chilly outside I also put on some vans to go with the outfit.

Ash knew that there could be a chance of me leaving or staying. He wasn't for sure and I acted like I wasn't for sure either even though I knew. The topic hasn't come up yet and I hope to keep it that way cause I wanted this to be a good last day.

"Okay baby, I'm going to go downstairs and don't come downstairs until I tell you too." I gave him that are you serious, I just wanna go eat I'm starving look.

He kissed me on the forehead before running downstairs making me wait. What could he possibly be doing down there?

"CAN I COME DOWN YET?" I yelled as loud as I could at that moment because I just couldn't wait any longer, I was curious.

"AH, WAIT ...OKAY, COME DOWN NOW!" He said with excitement.

Getting up from where I was sitting I quickly went to the staircase and when I looked down at the bottom my heart just felt so warm in that very second.

All I could see is a huge smile on Ash's face like he had just did the most amazing thing.

He had a big bouquet of roses and sunflowers in his hand with what seemed like a card. It wasn't a special occasion or anything so of course I was shocked but my cheeks started to hurt which meant I couldn't take the smile I had in my face off. I was so in love.

It's true, I'm so in love with everything about Ash.

Reaching the bottom of the stairs Ash handed me the flowers and card. I placed them down on the counter next to me and jumped into his arms wrapping my legs around his torso.

"Thank you so much, I love them." I whispered into his ear and he turned his head placing a kiss on my cheek.

"Anything for you." He replied.

Walking to Ash's truck he opened the door for me and then got into the driver's seat. I got on the aux cord and started playing R&B throwbacks which will never get old and I will never get tired of hearing, besides its fun when we both know all the words to every song.

I opened up snap-chat while Ash began to drive and started lip singing to the songs, Ash gave me a kiss on the cheek during the video while he was at a stop light. This video was defiantly a keeper. I then turned towards him and gave him a quick peck on the lips before the light turned green.

We finally got to the place we were having lunch, it was one of those places you see on Instagram aesthetically pleasing just to look at.

"The place is so cute." I said looking around.

"Just like you." Ash winked.

"Oh my god, you're so cheesy." I said pushing him playfully and we both laughed.

We got seated down and started to look over the menu. I had to get use to these girls staring at Ash but honestly it'll always annoy me. Like I won't be here to stop them trying to flirt with Ash not like me being with him does much now. Some girls don't even care that I'm his girlfriend.

"You look really good by the way." Ash said bringing me out of my thoughts.

"Thanks babe, so do you."

"Listen Adri, I've been really wanting to tell you something, and I know we aren't sure if today is your last day or not so I just need to put this out there just in case."

"What do you mean?"

"I just think that if you do leave that we should-" I cut him off before he could finish.

"You're breaking up with me aren't you?"

"What? Hell no, Adri can I finish what I was gonna say you spas?" He laughed and I rolled my eyes letting out a giggle. I mean he wasn't wrong.

"Okay, okay sorry."

"I want us to be together if you have to move still like I can save up to come see you and vice versa, I know we'd be strong enough to do long distance."

"I think so too." We both reached our bodies over the table to give each other a peck.

After we finished eating and got home, Ash put on some Netflixs and laid in bed. I got in bed next to him wrapping my arms around his torso while he pulled me closer. This might sound weird but I loved the way smelled so every chance I got I'd just breath in his scent from his shirt. It was almost comforting. I noticed myself becoming sleepy but I couldn't help it, being in the arms made me just want to dream about our future together. I could see us being in our late twenties having our first apartment together and adopting our first dog. My dream was perfect until I got woken up by my name being yelled.

"Adrianna! Rumor is here!" I hear Talia, Ash's mom yelling for me from downstairs and quickly got off of the bed and ran towards Ash's bedroom door.

"Oh That must be for me!" I gave Ash another peck and ran downstairs as I could hear Ash laughing in a sleepy tone as he had fallen asleep too.

"Hey sissy." She smiled big.

"Hey there sissy." I replied with a smile matching hers.

Reaching the front door I embraced my sister in a hug trying to reach what she had in the bag.

Rumor wouldn't let me have a peek inside of the bags until we were inside of her house which was super annoying because I was just curious but I could see a bit of red cloth.

As we walked into her house and ran upstairs she dumped the items that were in the bag on her bed.

"Rumor, you did not!"

"But I did." She said lifting her eyebrows up and down smirking.

Laughing I grabbed a pillow and chucked it at her.

"Hey! It's cute!"

"So what are you and what am I?" I asked holding up the two different costumes.

"Well since you asked and since it's Halloween we should be opposites of what we are in person so you can be the devil and I'll be the angel." I laughed but I kinda agreed with her reasoning and thought the idea of being a devil and angel would be pretty cute.

"You're such a dork." I laughed.

"Okay but watch everyone and their moms be this for Halloween." I said as we both started laughing.

"Everyone and their moms is going to be what for Halloween?" Our mom walked in the room with a curious look on her face.

"These." Rumor showed our mom the costumes.

"So cute! My daughters out going to win best costumes." She said holding up both our costumes.

My mom would not be happy with me wearing this tonight but it was nice to see my birth mom approve. I could see where I got some of my personality traits from. Our mom watched as we got ready and it was really nice spending one more night with her. I could tell she was trying really hard to be happy the whole time but secretly wanted to cry because I felt the same way.

We decided we would do our hair and makeup first before putting the the outfits. I decided to make my hair extra straight. I'm not the one to wear a lot of makeup but tonight I decided to put on fake eyelashes to go along with the look and I could see my sister doing something similar as me. Since she had short hair she made it somewhat wavy.

I could see it was getting closer to nine and that's when we decided to put on our costumes. The outfits were super cute something I wouldn't usually be for Halloween as my whole entire ass was hanging out but it was fine because I looked good.

Our mom took some pics of us before we left out the door already hearing the music from Ash's house. His parents left for the night so we'd be able to have this party which was really cool of them. They also decorated it with a bunch of Halloween decorations which turned out

Walking up to my boyfriend's house my heart started to beat fast because Ash has never seen me in something so so, so sexy. I was wondering what his reaction was going to be.

"I'm so excited! So far we our costumes are the cutest!" Rumor said giggly and I looked at what the other girls were wearing who were also walking up to the house and to me they looked amazing like damn Halloween was almost like who could be the sexiest.

I gulped as soon as I saw Ash. He looked like a vampire straight out of our favorite show vampire diaries. I was one lucky girl. Would he be mad for me wearing this? All these thoughts were running through my head. He made eye contact with me and then my body looking at me from head to toe.

He gulped.

Walking closer my heart was beating faster than ever, I'm not sure where it came from but I suddenly got this confidence in me grabbing my twins hand flipping my hair back a little bit. Then I continued walking over to him with a smile on my face.

"Hey babe." I said pecking him on the lips.

"You and your cute ass." He replied and I couldn't stop blushing.

"You look very good as well."

"You like it?" He said showing off his two pointy teeth.

"Yes, very realistic." I laughed.

We went inside and started to drink a little early since all the alcohol would be gone as soon as it got packed. Looking around I was kinda becoming insecure because I felt like a lot of girls looked way better than me but I tried my best to be as confident as I could. I could tell everyone was becoming a little bit tipsy because the music got louder and people began to dance.

Everything was going so good and I was having so much fun dancing with my boyfriend and watching my a bunch of guys try to flirt with my sister was the funniest thing.

It was around midnight now when Ash took me upstairs into what was basically our room. We were both drunk and all day I've been wanting to tell him I knew it was my last night here. It was just at the tip of my tongue and I had to tell him.

"Adriiii." He sang out my name.

"Ash I have something to tell you."

"So do I, Adri, I know I'm a bit drunk but I don't care because I have to say it."

"Wait say what?" I was curious to know what he had to tell me.

"I love you Adri." He said holding my hands.

My heart filled up with butterflies but I was frozen just looking at him all at once. Did he just say what I think he did? I was leaving tomorrow!

How can I be in love and heartbroken at the same time?
