Humming softly y/n turned on the stove, ready to cook breakfast for jungkook and herself.

She had woke up one and half hour ago. It was a work day of course, that's why she woke up early today.

It was only 7 A.M. when she suddenly felt warm breathe on her neck and two arms resting on her waist.

"Happy birthday baby." He whispered in his morning husky voice.

"Oh you woke up early today? thank you by the way." She smiled softly.

"The bed was cold without you." He whispered snuggling his face in her neck as she giggled due to the ticklish feeling.

"Liar. You sleep til late every morning." she called out as he pecked her neck.

"No. I just like to watch you every morning. So I just keep laying down and wait for you to bless me with your honey voice in the morning." He explained smiling softly as his voice came out as barely a whisper.

His morning voice was making her to feel flips inside her stomach.

It was so special for her.

"Why didn't you wait for me today then?" She questioned.

"Because I was eager to wish you. I didn't want anyone else to wish you before me." He pulled her earlobe between his teeth as she slightly blushed.

"Fine. Go get ready and let me cook, hmm?" she spoke, pushing him away from her.

"But I want to hold you for a little longer." He complained.

"No jungkook. We'll get late for work if you don't get ready on time." She explained but he just shook his head.

"No no. I promise I'll get ready on time. Let me hug you for some more time, please." He held her once again as she tried getting out of his arms.

"Jungkookie. Baby please. I promise I'll let you hold you once we're all done." She spoke but suddenly hissed when she felt her hand hitting the hot pot.

"W-what?" jungkook questioned suddenly pulling her to make her face him.

"Let me wash it." she spoke softly blowing her hand as jungkook panicked stepping aside as he watched her walking toward the sink and putting her hand under water.

"I'm sorry... I shouldn't have pulled you.." jungkook apologized as she slightly smiled at him before shaking her head.

"It's okay I'm fine." She replied but it didn't help jungkook as he gently held her hand that already had a purple mark on it.

"Let me bring the ointment for you." he spoke as he gently kissed her hand and walked to their bedroom.

Y/n smiled as she saw him so worried for her.

It wasn't a big deal. It had happened before. But seeing him being so worried over such a thing that was so small for her, made her heart to melt.

Jungkook came back after some seconds as he quickly sat her on the counter top before holding her hand and putting on the ointment on it.

"Does it hurt?" He questioned looking into her eyes as he caressed her hand tenderly, "I'm so sorry. I shouldn't have pulled you, if I didn't, you wouldn't have hurt yourself."

His eyes showed hurt. He was upset with himself for hurting his wife on her birthday.

"It's okay kookie. I'm fine. I promise it doesn't hurt. I'll be okay." She spoke, pulling her hands out of his before cupping his cheeks.

"Aigoo aigoo." she pecked his nose tip before smiling, "Come on! Go get ready now or else we'll get late." She spoke making him nod.

"Yes princess. Tell me if it hurts please." she smiled nodding her head in response as he pecked her cheek before walking off to their room.

Getting up from the slab, she started cooking once again.

She was happy. Very happy.

It hasn't always been like this for her. Having to have someone excited to wish her a happy birthday.

Nothing else mattered to her, but the fact that there was someone who loved her.

The feeling love was itself a big thing. Risking your everything is what you do when you love. Because you love with soul. You love the soul.

And the fact that jungkook choosed her over everything else meant the world for her.

She smiled before turning off the stove and calling jungkook for breakfast as she quickly served two plates and placed them on the dining table.

"Can you finish your work early today...?" Jungkook spoke, taking a seat on one of the chairs as his voice came out so small making y/n to furrow her eyebrows in confusion.

"Of course." She replied.

"Okay then... I'll pick you up at 5."

"You okay?" she questioned as he smiled, nodding his head in response.

"The breakfast is good." He complimented.

"Thank you" she slightly rolled her eyes at him before smiling.

They finished their breakfast after sometimes as they got up, ready to leave for work.

Though y/n held jungkook's hand once he wore his blazer.

"What happened?" Jungkook asked, looking at her.

"You tell me what happened, jungkook" She pouted pulling him to sit on the couch with her since they still had some time to leave.

"What do you mean, cherish?" He questioned, looking at her cluelessly.

"why are you so quiet? Did I say something hurtful?" She questioned.

Though her question only made jungkook smile.

"What? Tell me!" She whined swaying their hands left to right.

"you didn't do anything baby. I'm just upset with myself for hurting you. I'm sorry" he spoke caressing her cheek.

"I told you jungkook. I'm fine. It hurts me when I see you upset." She replied.

Overwhelmed by her sweetness, jungkook pulled her on his lap before wrapping his arms around her waist, "okay! I won't be upset anymore hm?"

"Good boy." She smiled, ruffling her hairs making jungkook chuckle.

"Don't give me that tag" He spoke, looking into her eyes as she suddenly felt nervous under his gaze.

"let's go, if we keep sitting here we'll get late.." She spoke faintly playing with her fingers making him chuckle as he pecked her head before standing up with her.

"Okay, baby girl." he whispered pecked her ear before holding her hand and walking out of the house.

Though he failed to see her red face.
