The last thing Morgan could remember before passing out was the large chunks of ice collapsing on top of her and the searing pain that spread through her.

She slowly began to regain her consciousness, slowly opening her eyes and glancing around the room. Realizing that she was in the nurse's office, she attempted to sit up but was forced to sit down when the soreness in her body hit her all at once.

She grunted as she laid back down, grumbling to herself.

"You're awake," Morgan heard off to the side. She turned her head slightly to see her brother, Duke, leaning against the wall while staring at her. "You scared all of us, you know that? You could have gotten seriously hurt! If not, killed!" He snapped. Although he was shouting, he wasn't truly angry with Morgan, he was more concerned and worried for her.

"I'm sorry," Morgan said softly as she lowered her head in guilt. Duke sighed as he walked over to sit on the edge of the bed.

"It's alright, I know you didn't mean to make us worry. And I know you were trying to save your friend." Duke reassured with a warm smile.

"He's not my friend," Morgan stated bluntly to which Duke rolled his eyes playfully. He knew his sister would never admit when someone was her friend or not. It took her 2 years into her and Midoriya to call him her friend.

Suddenly there was a knock on the door, catching both their attention. Duke approached the door and opened it to be pushed back by Midoriya rushing into the room.

"Oh god Morgan! You're okay!" He cried out in relief as he ran over to the side of her bed. Following behind him were Alex, Ida, Uraraka, and Jiro. "You're not too hurt, are you? Do you need anything? Water? Pain killers?" He continued to ramble on.

The redhead cracked a small smile before reaching up to pat his head. "I'm fine," She said before looking at the others, surprised that they came to see her.

"You had me worry, you dickhead. Never do that shit again." Alex grumbled and crossed his arms like a stubborn child. Morgan chuckled at his action before nodding. Then she realized a certain someone was missing.

"Where's Todoroki?"

"He's in the other room. He made it out with some scratches and bruises since you took most of the damage." Duke informed her. "You're gonna be sore but you'll survive. I did my best to heal your injuries without overworking myself."

She must have sustained a lot of injuries and for Duke to heal her all by himself is impressive.

"We should go check on Todoroki. He's probably awake now." Ida said. Midoriya nodded and looked at his friend, "Are you gonna be okay if we go see Todoroki?"

She responded with a nod and the others began to take their leave. Duke also had to take his leave because someone had to speak with him.

The only people left in the room were Morgan and Jiro. The redhead watched as Jiro grabbed a chair and placed it by the bed. Taking her seat, she was now at eye level with Morgan.

"Hey," Morgan greeted, feeling a bit awkward being left alone with the other girl. Morgan couldn't help but feel extra nervous around Jiro since she found her cute. She would catch herself staring at Jiro whenever she would twirl one of her earphone jacks. She liked the fact that Jiro was much shorter than she was. It made her look so huggable.

However, Morgan wasn't the only one feeling nervous.

"Hi, " Jiro greeted back, fiddling her thumbs. Unknown to Morgan, Jiro also had feelings toward her. Ever since they shared the moment on the field, Jiro had felt something toward the taller girl. She had saw the softer side to the cold, quiet girl. Her feelings only grew after the attack on U.S.J. when Morgan saved her and showed Jiro her vulnerable side.

Ever since then, Morgan would walk by her side during school. Jiro had received weird looks from people before since Morgan is never around people. She didn't care though, she liked having the redhead close by her. Morgan rarely talks but when she does, it's either with her siblings, Kayama, Midoriya, and Jiro.

There were times Morgan would distance herself from Jiro but it never worked out. Jiro would end up finding her and stick by her side. While she would act annoyed by this, she secretly enjoyed having Jiro close by her as well.

Jiro's attention directed toward Morgan when the redhead attempted to sit up. Urgently, she rushed to her side to help her so Morgan doesn't injury herself any further. Morgan gives a nod of gratitude before giving her one of her rare smiles.

Jiro's cheeks flushed slightly and she took in the small features. The way her red eyes had a sparkle in them when she looked at her. The way slight dimples form when she smiles. And how cute she looked with messy hair.

"Hold still," Jiro said as she gently ran her fingers through Morgan's hair to smooth it out. Though Morgan didn't expect this kind of affection, she clearly didn't mind it. She let out a soft sigh and closed her eyes, feeling the fingers trail through her hair.

A lump formed in Jiro's throat as she glanced at Morgan's lips. Her heart began to beat faster as if she was entranced. She gently brushed any strand of hair from Morgan's face and cupped her cheek, causing the other girl to open her eyes.

The two looked into one another's eyes, their hearts speeding up. Jiro swallowed her pride and closed her eyes, slowly leaning in. Morgan's eyes widen with surprise when she realized what Jiro was doing. Her cheeks heat up as she closed her eyes as well and leaned in.

Finally when their lips met, it almost felt like Morgan was on fire. Her heart raced faster than ever before. Her hand reached up to gently grab the back of Jiro's neck to draw her closer.

Jiro let out a small hum before moving onto the bed, carefully straddling the taller girl. Morgan's other hand rested on her waist while they continued their kiss.

Jiro pulled away for air, panting slightly as she stared at the other girl. Before she could say anything, Morgan's lips were back on hers again, causing her to let out a small squeak. Morgan didn't want this to end, she felt almost addicted by just one kiss.

Jiro let out a small whimper when she felt Morgan nibble on her bottom lip. Opening her mouth to give her access, Morgan slid her tongue in. Both their tongues wrestled for dominance while Jiro's hands were now gripping onto Morgan's hair and Morgan was using both her hands to hold her waist.

She was too entranced in the kiss to remember Morgan's injuries when she placed one of her hands on her shoulder. Morgan pulled away, wincing in pain.

"Sh-Shit, I-I'm sorry," Jiro stuttered once she realized what she did. Morgan shook her head, "It's okay. It didn't hurt that much, it surprised me mostly."

The two caught their breath and looked at each other again, both their cheeks red from embarrassment and the heavy make-out.

"Jiro... where does this leave us?" Morgan coughed awkwardly, looking away again to avoid eye contact. A part of her was scared, scared that this kiss was a mistake. Her heart was still racing from it.

"Maybe.. Maybe we can try going out? I-I like you Morgan, as more than a friend." Jiro confessed, twirling her earphone jacks nervously.

Morgan stared at her with her mouth slightly gaped open with surprise. She liked her back?

"I-I...I would love to. I actually like you too.." Morgan chuckled out nervously, her face now matching the color of her hair. Jiro perked up at this response and blushed even more. A bright smile appeared on her face and she leaned in to kiss her cheek.

Morgan's eyes widen and she began to stutter a bit, cheeks flushing an even darker red.

She may not have won the U.A. Sports Festival but she won something even better.
