"Fuck, my bunny looks so cute," I winked at her as she sat across from me.

"I look like this every day," her cheeks turned a deep shade of red.

A grin formed on my lips "One of the endless things that make you irresistible."

"Shut up," she covered her face with a cloth napkin.

My smile softened "Bunny, let me see that face."

"No," she chuckled.

"Come on," I whined, gaining some looks from the people at the tables around ours; don't care, just want to see my bunny's cute face.

The girl, slowly, uncovered her face "I hate you," her cheeks were crimson.

"No, you don't, you love me and you'll love me, even more, when I take you on a shopping spree after this," I picked up my cup and took a sip of my coffee as Davina squealed in excitement. Giving her her favorite things is what she needs right now; she had a panic attack as we were leaving the house two hours ago. She has made really great progress but sometimes everything comes back at once and she has told me she's terrified of becoming that person once again.

Davina had a grilled cheese sandwich with tomato paste and french fries on the side for breakfast which is totally okay with me; she has our little baby growing inside of her. Maybe I'm spoiling her too much but no one else deserves it as much as she does.

When we were done, we got into the car and they drove us to the Luxury Zone which is a lane called Alberni Street. My bunny went into Tiffany's first and bought: a necklace with a short, thick chain and the classic heart tag toggle with its matching bracelet; an olive leaf sterling cuff, a bracelet that resembles the one with the toggle but it's just a pendent (the difference is that toggles are the ones that are secured by a bar and some sort of ring), a large charcoal-color bone cuff, a vine bypass ring, an olive leaf bypass ring in both silver and gold, a Please return to Tiffany wide ring in sterling and a diamond vine band ring in platinum...for her but then she moved on to getting things for me which were a Tiffany 1837 wide ring in sterling silver and a wide chain bracelet in silver and gold.

I paid a grand total of $38,960 US dollars. And it was more than worth it; Davina was grinning as she saw one of our security men take the bags to the car.

"I can't wait to wear them for you," she looked up at me "naked."

A smirk curved my lips "Tonight, bunny, just you wait."

From there we moved to Hermès where she bought some belts and nine handbags. There I paid around half a million.

Then we hopped back into the car and they drove us to Christian Louboutin. My gorgeous wife bought a pair of suede So Kate pumps which make her look so exquisite, Karistrap boots and I need new ankle boots so I got a pair.

I paid a little over 3k there. My bunny was quite tired so they took us to the nearest ice cream store where we sat outside, in the cold, eating ice cream; It was Davina's idea, not mine.

"How's yours?" She asked dipping her spoon into the chocolate cookie dough ice cream.

"Good but you're more delicious," a smirk appeared on my lips.

Davina got up on her feet and came to sit across my lap "Can I have some of yours?" she opened her mouth.

"Sure," I dipped my spoon in the Gimme S'more ice cream and gently slipped it in her mouth. "How's that, bunny?"

"Mhh," she hummed, analyzing the flavor. "Good but mine is better."

"You're crazy," I scoffed.

"No, you are," she giggled, making my heart flutter.

"For you I am," a big smile formed on my lips before placing a gentle kiss on her lips. "I love you, Davina."

"I love you too, Diavolo," she let out a deep sigh, leaning her head on my shoulder. "I'm really nervous about tonight. What if they're able to manipulate me?"

"Bunny, if you feel like what they're saying is making you doubt what you feel for them just squeeze my hand and I'll shut them up. Understood?"

"Understood," she whispered, tickling my neck with her breath. "Can we make cinnamon rolls tonight?"

"Sure, bunny," my arms laced around her neck to have her as close as possible. "Whatever you want, you know it'll be done."

We spent the rest of the afternoon, walking around, she tried poutine and fell in love with it, we went into some other stores but she didn't buy much. I have to get her her own card with that gorgeous name of hers: Davina DeLuca. What a name, what a woman, what a goddess.

When 8 pm arrived, we hopped into the black SUV and made our way to her parents' residency; she was quiet the whole way there, with her hand in my sweater, tracing every line even if she couldn't see them she knows them by heart. It's romantic knowing your lover's body by heart. My right hand went for her belly; I've been thinking a lot about baby names and it would be really nice if we named the baby if it's a boy, Matteo like my grandfather. Dante is a great name but...my grandpa was important, even though we didn't spend much time together, he was always so loving to me and my sister.

The car came to a complete halt, my head turned to my left to find the lights on of a b&b sign. A deep sigh left my mouth as I whispered against her hair: "We are here, bunny."

"I know," she whispered back, straightening on her seat. "Let's go," Davina unbuckled her seatbelt and hopped off the car before me. You have to understand my extreme anguish, this could sink Davina emotionally. If these bastrads ask for money, I'm not going to give it to them because they'll just keep coming; if necessary, I will eliminate them. Prior to hopping off the car, I checked my weapons sheathed in my shoulder holster. Perfect.

My wife was looking at the house with sadness in her eyes "Do you think they have another kid?"

"No, bunny, they don't have any kids," our fingers intertwined as I took her hand in mine.

A deep sigh left her mouth "That just further proves that they didn't want me."

"Their loss, bunny; you're perfect."

"Thank you for this, handsome," she gazed up at me with tears in her eyes.

"Don't cry, bunny, don't let them see that," my arms laced around her body. "Take a deep breath. You have me and our family, you're not alone and what those imbeciles did to you does not define your worth," my right hand cradled her head as she gripped my sweater. "I love you more than anything in the world–"

The woman pushed me away and shook her head "You must love our baby above everyone and everything."

A soft smile formed on my lips "I love you both more than anything in my life."

Davina took a deep breath and walked up the steps to knock on the door with me standing behind her "Coming!" A woman shouted from inside, a second later the door swung open and her smile dropped; she froze which I enjoyed watching.

"Honey, who–" his dad dropped the plate that was in his hands once he laid eyes on us.

"Surprise," my arms laced around my wife's waist from behind as my chin rested on her right shoulder.

"Davina—" her dad started.

"Mrs. DeLuca," my wife said, making a proud smile appear on my lips "you may call me Mrs. DeLuca."

They both nodded before stepping away to let us in "Please come in." Her mom seemed to be trembling. Interesting.

Davina grabbed my hand and stepped in "We weren't expecting you today," her dad said with a nervous smile. "Would any of you like anything to drink or eat? We ordered Chinese."

"No, thank you," my bunny is way too nice. "Is there somewhere we can speak?"

They both nodded "Sure," the man led us upstairs.

"Laundering money sure pays a nice house," I told with a smile on my face.

The mom cleared her throat and gazed at us over her shoulder "Everyone has to do things to survive."

"Yeah, I had to do many of those," Davina told. This is definitely not how I imagined she would behave. I'm glad she realizes she has power. We passed the dining table and stood in the living room; these motherfuckers have all of this and my bunny was being held captive by an abuser. Suffering day after day after day and THEY HAVE A FUCKING SUBURBAN MANSION.

Davina sat down at sofa so I took a seat beside her "Pull up some chairs," I suggested with a smile on my face.

Swiftly, her mom brought the olive green tub chair and her dad a chair from the dining table.

"What are your actual names?" My wife asked, taking my hand.

"Raisa Anastas," her mother replied.

"George Alexander," her father replied.

Davina nodded "Why did you leave me?" Mrs. DeLuca does not stutter.

The monsters in front of us, looked at each other and George was the one to open his mouth "We had a lot of problems."

"It was a big mistake," Raisa told. "We were too deep in our addiction and didn't realize what we were doing."

"You didn't realize you were selling your child?" Davina's was unfazed. A smirk curved my lips "Do you know what I went through with that monster?"

"I—"

"He raped me when I was five years old," her words made my heart tighten. "His friends would use me as a fucktoy, whenever I tried to escape he would cut my back, I was only allowed to have one meal a day, at 14 years old I fell pregnant and he hated me so much he stabbed me and killed my baby," tears rolled down her cheeks but her face was strong, her presence was powerful. "I didn't know how to read or write anything that wasn't my name until a couple of months ago."

Raisa cleared her throat "I'm sorry—"

"You sold me for 250 dollars," Davina interrupted her. "For drugs and if you claim to be so repented, why didn't you ever try to get me back after you gained all of this?"

George took a deep breath "We didn't think Jack would return you."

Davina let out a loud laugh "Return me? Because I was only an object to you two."

"No, of course not," her mother said. "I had you in my womb for nine months and loved you more than anything in the world."

Wifey placed her free hand on top of her bump "I don't believe you; I have a baby growing inside of me  and it makes me nauseous to even think about doing everything you've done to me," Davina, quite swiftly, reached inside my coat and pulled out one of my handguns before getting up on her feet.

"Davina—" I started.

"Shut up, Diavolo," she said, pointing the gun at her father's head. "YOU SENT ME TO GET MILK WHEN I WAS FOUR YEARS OLD AND WHEN I CAME BACK THE DOOR WAS LOCKED!" She shouted "I HAD TO SLEEP UNDER THE CAR BECAUSE A HURRICANE HIT THE ISLAND THAT NIGHT!"  She shifted to her mother "AND YOU WOULD CRAWL ONTO MY PIECE OF FLOOR IN THE LIVING ROOM WITH A KNIFE, PUT IT AGAINST MY NECK AND TELL ME HOW MUCH YOU WANTED TO KILL ME BECAUSE I RUINED YOUR LIFE!" The pain in her voice caused tears to appear in my eyes; I am proud of her standing up for herself but she's reminiscing her horrible childhood.

"We want to fix everything," her mother told with a shaky voice as she put her hands up.

"You just want my husband's money," a loud bang resonated through the house as Davina pulled the trigger and it hit her mother, right between the eyes. Blood along with gray matter, splattered on the wall behind her chair.

Her father let out a loud sob "WHAT HAVE YOU DONE?!" George got up and fell to his knees beside Raisa's dead body. "WE SHOULD'VE SMOTHERED YOU WHEN WE HAD THE—" another loud bang that went through her father's skull, between the eyes.

Davina turned around and looked at the gun, then at me as her lower lip quivered "I'm sorry..." her voice broke as she dropped the weapon.
