Y/N's POV

I need to run, fast, as fast as I can.

I can't just walk past his body, God! I can't believe there is a body here!
I need to get away from here, what if they would come back?

I want to cry, why they sent me here? Why?

I didn't look at him, I just ran looking forward, I couldn't look at him.

I wanted to forget I ever saw this, I wanted to believe nothing happened.

Running past him, a chill ran down my spine, making me feel as if my body would just collapse.

A tear ran down my face, but I held myself from breaking down completely.

I kept running and running until I ran out of air.

I stopped to catch my breath, confused I looked around to see I probably ran too far.

I saw a line of houses in front of me, all of them look kinda old and some even look abandoned.

I want to believe there would be some nice people here, even though it doesn't look like a place for good people to live in.

Perhaps this foster home wouldn't be too bad.

It's hard getting my hopes up every time, every foster home I moved too I tried having hope.

But nothing changed, even though I know I'm lying to myself, I believe this hope somehow helps me.

I'm trying to be happy even when it's hard, I always tell myself that there's people out there who are dealing with more difficult stuff.

Most of the foster families I was at were just not nice, they didn't hide the fact I wasn't wanted there.

Okay, I need to calm down and find this place already.

Maybe I should just find someone and ask for help?

Just then I heard a door slam and looked to the direction it came from to see a woman.

She looked around her 40th, she looked tired and she was just standing there, not doing anything.

Understanding I haven't left any other choice, I started walking toward her.

But I was feeling nervous when I saw she held a bottle in her hand, it looked like alcohol.

Now when I look at her again I see she doesn't look tired, she looks drunk. Maybe I should look for the place myself?

I'm already here, right? I can do it, I will be fine. Taking a deep breath I kept walking toward her until she noticed me.

I now stood in front of her, her eyes looked dead, no emotion, just a blank stare.

"Excuse me, I was sent to a foster family who supposed to live here somewhere, maybe you know them?"

"Are you Y/N?", she asked.

My heart dropped and my eyes widened, how does she know my na-

No, don't tell me,

This is it,

That's the place, that is the foster home I needed to find. I have a bad feeling about this.

"Y-yes, I'm Y/N" I answered.

She just looked at me and said,

"Come inside", she didn't smile, she didn't have any expression on her face, that made me feel really uncomfortable.

She walked toward the door and I walked behind her.

This house looks kinda small and really scary on the outside, it even seems like it's abandoned.

If I was just passing by I wouldn't think people actually lived inside.

She opened the main door and got it.

Hesitating for a moment, I just stood there, letting out a breath I didn't know I was holding.

I looked before me and got inside as well, closing the door behind me.

This place was definitely small, right when I got in I saw a tiny space which was a living room and a kitchen.

To my right, there were two doors and on the left side were two doors as well.

I've been in houses which were pretty bad, but this house really looked in a bad condition.

"You took your time"

Walking out from one of the rooms on the left, a man walked toward us, he looked around the same age as her and he looked kinda drunk too, I took one step back.

"I-I'm sorry", my voice was trembling, I was scared and I still think I was in shock from what happened earlier...

He just walked to one of the sofas while saying,

"Come to the living room, there is some stuff we need to explain to you".

As he sat down the woman walked toward the same sofa and sat next to him.

I quickly walked there and sat on the sofa opposite them.

I'm afraid to make them angry, they are both drunk, if they would be mad as well it wouldn't be good.

"Look, we are not gonna lie to you, we didn't want this.

But we felt bad for you, so we agreed", the woman said.

I wasn't surprised to hear it, I heard this sentence many times in my life, but I wasn't expecting them to feel bad for me.

Looking at her, I saw no expression again.

It's actually starting to get scary now.
I looked over to the man and he continued,

"So you will need to do as we tell you.

You will need to clean every day and you are going to cook for us as well".

I didn't think I will need to do all of this, I now understand that they didn't really felt bad for me.

They saw me as an opportunity to get someone who will do everything for them.

But it happened before in some places I was at, I was basically the maid, I cleaned and cooked.

No matter how many times stuff like this happens, it hurts every time. I can't get used to this, I don't think I ever will.

"And one more thing", the woman said,

"We need money, so you are going to work and bring us the money you will earn. We already got you a job.

You are going to clean houses in the area here, some people already reached out to us and asked for you to clean their place".

I feel tired just hearing all of this. This is all too much, but I don't really have a choice.

"You are going to sleep in that room", the woman said pointing to one of the doors on the right side, next to the main door.

I just nodded, I wasn't trusting my voice at the moment. They both got up and the man said,

"You should be grateful".

And walked to one of the doors on the left, getting inside.

The woman followed shortly after him, and got in the door next to his.

I walked to the door they told me to go to and opened it, it is really dark in here.

Searching for the switch, I found it and turned the light on.

Looking around I saw boxes everywhere, the room was small and full with random stuff.

In the middle of the room was an empty space, I guess I'm going to sleep there...

But I can't just sleep on the floor like this.

Putting my bag on the ground, I started looking in the boxes for something to put on the floor.

After searching for a while, I found an old blanket and placed it on the floor.

I turned the light off, feeling cold and tired. Using my bag as a pillow I laid down and looked at the ceiling.

Thinking back to what happened in that alley, I couldn't believe this person died.

I don't really know what the story is, but it seems that stuff like this happens often, everything here is very strange.

Thinking about this made me remember something, I remembered
him,

Jungkook.

I feel so scared, I have a feeling he can easily find me, I don't want to get out of here.

How could that happen to me? Why was I even there? Why this is all happening to me?

I have no way out.
