'I need your love, I need your time
When everything's wrong
you make it right
I feel so high, I come alive
I need to be free with you tonight'

"So Blake is going to be here," Ace says from the kitchen's countertop.

My heart stops and I have to force my face to stay neutral.

"Why so?" I say with a curious voice.

"He's just going to be your bodyguard of the day," damn.

"Is it okay if he just doesn't? I have some things I need to finish off at the clinic and then I will maybe drop by your office and see how things are going," I plead.

"He can accompany you to all your errands then," he stands up and puts his empty mug in the dishwasher once he rinsed it. "I thought you'd be glad," he furrows his eyebrows.

Oh of course, only he tried to kiss me and was really close at doing so, then left without explanation, and I'm trying to follow you to Australia without you noticing so...

"I am, just surprised he isn't going with you," I force a smile and he just hums.

"Well, I'm going to head out," he walks towards me now.

"You can stay here," and not go kill Antonio.

"I wish I could but," his face looked troubled.

"I know I know, go be a criminal outside this house," I tease and peck his lips.

"Alright, he should be here any second now," he says, referring to Blake.

"Text me once you've landed to wherever you're going, and take care of yourself," I straighten out his blouse, then caress his jaw.

"Yes ma'am," he smiles down at me. "I love you."

"I love you too," with that, he heads to the garage. Once I hear his engine leaving the house, I sprint upstairs to get my belongings.

A couple minutes later once I dressed myself and checked what I had, I hear the door bell ring and I freeze up.

"Blake," I nod the second I open the door but continue running around, gathering items I might need for my mission.

"What are we doing?" He pushes himself off the door frame and enters the door, closing it behind him.

"You," I zip up my jacket, "are going to," put on my beanie, "leave," I smile as I stand in front of him before grabbing my keys and wait for him to do so.

"Ray, I understand what I did wa—" I place my hand in front of my face as a message to him to not continue.

"I'm not talking about that, but I need to be places and you're going to be in the way," I clarify.

"As your bodyguard for the time, I am ordered to accompany you anywhere you wish," he straightens himself out.

I sigh, knowing he won't leave me alone no matter how hard I try.

"How fast can you book a flight for Australia?"

"This isn't a good idea," Blake says as we're racing to board our last minute booked plane.

"No one forced you to come," I bite out, panting.

Before he could say anything, we barley reach the entrance of the plane, we scan our cards and quickly seat ourselves. Blake puts our minimum belongings on top of our heads in the compartments made for them before sitting comfortably next to me.

"We're actually doing this?" Blake says, his smile pleading to go back.

"Hell yes," I puff out my chest, fastening my seatbelt. "How hard can this be?"

"Okay, we're lost."

We have landed at Australia, got into cab to the place I thought was there.

"Since we are looking a demolished house, I'd say we are," Blake snickers and I shoot him a glare.

"You must know something," I turn to him hopeful.

"I was stationed to you," he shrugs.

"That's a lie that both you and me know," I continue glaring at him.

"Oh is it?" He smirks folding his arms, feeling proud he hasn't broke yet.

Before I whine some more, we both hear footsteps approaching and Blake's face gets serious before he carefully guides me to behind a building.

"Her father is still in the dungeon with the others sir," a guy says with an Australian accent.

"Whose father?" I whisper to Blake, however he just continues staring at the guy with hard eyes as his hand slowly reached to his waist.

"We're still at the same place we got dropped off at, we're now waiting for your teams," the guy continues.

"Which teams?" I harshly whisper, getting impatient.

The guy eventually hangs up the phone, sighs pointing his face to the sky and walking the opposite way he came from.

Once he's out of reach, Blake grabs my elbow and guides me further into the buildings that intertwine while I struggle to get a word out of him.

"This was never a good idea," he kept on mumbling.

"Blake, if you don't want to get in trouble, you can leave at any point," I assure him, unsure of what exactly is going on in his mind.

"It's not about me not wanting to get in trouble," he runs his hand through this hair. "It's about you getting hurt, you big idiot."

Following that was a moment of silence, I could see the pain in his eyes perhaps because he already knows my response or because he feels as if he's betraying Ace.

"Blake," I begin with a gentle remark before he shakes his head.

"No, it was stupid of me to even think of kissing you, making a move on you. Ace deserves so much more than a crappy friend," he sighs. "I was the biggest supporter of you guys' relationship, over the moon that the boss won't end up alone with the rest of the gang."

He takes a huge breath before continuing, "I saw him slowly fall in love with you everyday, you opened yourself up to him when you couldn't hold eye contact with any other person. Your relationship only happens in fairytales, Ray, and I don't want to be the villain that gets between that," he finishes.

"Blake," I start.

"No, I know, I'm cheesy but," he fidgets awkwardly.

"No, Blake," I point my finger to the same guy that was talking on the phone, pointing his gun towards us.

He furrows his eyebrows, turns around and immediately covers me when he sees what was going on.

To start off, if any of you noticed the cover change, it's all thanks to the amazing @everlighting, Allie!! She has two amazing books, I'm reading 'Stolen' right now and it's been going great. Please go show her some love, give her books a chance.

Second off, as many of you hear authors say, I am getting squashed between school work and wattpad work. Now you might say, "Bob, (since y'all don't know my name, let's call me bob) what does this mean?" This means I don't want to feel the pressure of uploading a chapter once a week. So from here until I can stack up enough chapters for the future, my schedule is going to be an irregular one! I will most likely upload once a month depending on the chapter and circumstances. This is until I figure out what's going to happen with this book since I'm not the most happy with it at the moment. My next update will most likely be towards the end of december since it's the end of november right now. Thanks for understanding.

I hope you enjoyed this chapter, please show Allie some support for working on this amazing cover.
i'll be replying to comments :)
