'Damn, I like me better when I'm with you
I like me better when I'm with you
I knew from the first time, I'd stay for a long time 'cause
I like me better when'

I was waking up because of yelling in my ear and people shaking me violently.

"She's waking up, call Boss," an unfamiliar voice says.

Once I could open my eyes, I begin to panic trying to recall what happened but the severe headache prevents me from any valuable  detail. I try to tug at my numb hands to see them stretched in chains to my sides.

I look at the person in front of me and I freeze.

"My beautiful foster niece," George says. How?

"You might be wondering what you're doing here," he laughs. "My friend Antonio is a good friend of your boyfriend, you might say they have a history. When I heard he was trying to get revenge on King, I thought of you my lovely," he pats my head, while I remain frozen thinking of all the possible ways to escape.

"So we are just going to wait patiently for you knight in shining armor to come here and get himself killed," he laughs, literally nothing is funny, if he doesn't stop imma--. "You should also remember I'm not the most patient guy though," his face suddenly turns serious before he punches my stomach and I cough out, but refuse to scream. I'm not the scared little girl I once was.

"Sir, it's really not that hard. We can just kidnap mister Griffin and get him to us," we're now in my office, trying to figure out the best approach to get Ray her Dad.

"Let's continue this later, get the spy-mallows and send them to where he is," i say, rubbing my eyebrows.

"Hey," Blake enters just as the five people that were here leave.

"What?"

"Cranky," he mumbles. "So remember the Christmas party?" I look at him, motioning for him to hurry up. "Well, i forgot about it until a minute ago, but someone snuck into the province without us knowing and went to the same place where Ray was at the time," he explains, and that's enough to give him my full attention.

"Did you catch it on camera?" I ask sternly.

"They hacked it, so no," he sits down.

"Do you think it's the same person Ray saw at the mall?" I try to connect two points together. How could I not have known?

"I'm not sure, we kept looking around for any suspicious person but we got nothing," he explains further.

I curse under my breath. "Add security on Ray while she's in college, now," I order.

Blake nods and rushes to order the others. Meanwhile, I pull out my phone and try to dial her number but it doesn't pick up. She probably left it at home. She's not used to having a cell.

As I'm panting, and trying to get in as much clean oxygen as possible, the others laugh. There are now about six people taking turn and not wasting time to hurt me. I recognize the tattoo guy from the party which is the loudest here.

"Alright Alright, whose turn did we stop at?" George says, in between laughs.

"So much for men not hitting girls, I guess you can say you're all still boys," I say in a normal toned voice, wanting them to hear me. That sentence makes everyone go silent and angry. Maybe not the smartest thing to say to your kidnappers, but they don't know that once they leave, Ive figured out a way to break out of the chains.

However that is once they leave, and I'm not sure when that will happen so I feel another hit on my side.

A skinny guy walks in the room and whispers something in someone ear, before they all robotically leave the room as if nothing happened. All except for George. I continue to glare at him while he looks somewhat surprised but tries to hide it.

"What do you have up your sleeve?" He asks me.

"Pardon?" I say, sounding much better than how I'm feeling. This isn't at all how the movies I've seen make fight scenes look. It's like living with the D's but times it with six.

"Do you have a microphone somewhere?" He starts to feel me up. Uh-uh, nope. I kick him where the sun doesn't shine with the strength I have left.

His instinct was to slap me before crouching down and taking care of what i might have broken.

He stays on the floor before the same skinny guy calms him again, he gives me a glare before leaving.

I inspect my injuries to see what I was working with. I had a throbbing eye, felt a twist in my elbow, was slashed in my abdominal area, and what felt like many bruises on my leg. They didn't hit that hard I guess..

While they were hitting me, the chains slowly started to loosen on me so I guess it was a win-lose situation. I don't wait another second before slipping out of the chains and throwing my body onto the brick wall, unevenly, and start climbing feeling the most painful injuries, underneath the nail injuries. The window isn't that high up since the room isn't that big so in no time, I reach the little edge of the window and slowly try to open it.

What kind of stupid people leave the prisoner alone in the room? Did they think I was a girl so I was helpless, someone explain. Ace showed me basic techniques of what to do in different situations so joke's on them.

When I finally succeed to crack the window, I look down at what seemed to be two-stories high. Climbing down is much easier, so I stick my body into the wall and start sliding, feeling my knitted crop top I was wearing slowly disperse.

I look around and it seems I was in a motorcycle illegal race area. The place I was positioned at was a creepy old dungeon that's three-stories high, gray in color.

Before anyone could see me, I start running towards where the crowd seems to be at. I don't remember for how long I was running, but my already injured shoulder suddenly felt a familiar numbness before the hotness of the metal kicked in. I didn't stop, I knew they'd catch me eventually but I had hope I'd make it into the city. When I saw a busy highway, I breathed a sigh of relief not ever slowing down, amazed at my self for keeping this level of speed.

My already bruised legs begin to buckle but I just run along side of cars, hoping anyone would stop for me. I look behind me to see around four men not knowing what to do before they all retreat as if they were given an order.

I stand next to the fence that's at either side of the freeway and try to keep myself composed. However, I must have lost consciousness because next thing I know, I'm being carried by what seemed to be a nice gentleman, didn't feel like my Ace though.
