For the first time in a while, I had no dream. Not a nightmare, a memory, not even a good dream. So when I felt the sunlight on my face, I didn't want to wake up just yet.

But when a felt feather kisses all over my face from the familiar lips, I giggled and tried to push him away.

"Let me sleep human," my eyes remain closed.

"Are you sure you want to miss the first snow?" My eyes snap open when he says that.

"If you're lying to me, you're a horrible human being," I try to sound threatening.

"Good morning to you too bird," he snuggles into my neck and I let out a content sigh.

"Let's go see the snow," I get up, put on Ace's robe for extra warmth over my clothes.

"I'm starting to regret telling you there's snow," I give him a confused expression. "I wanted to cuddle more," he says shyly and I fight the urge to awe.

"First snow happens once a year, we can do that later," i say without thinking, causing him to smirk.

"I guess we will do that later," he mutters.

The second I go outside, I breathe the air in deeply, and exhale with a big smile on my face.

"I guess you like snow," Ace says from behind me.

I take both of his hands and wrap them around my waist, leaning back to his chest.

"Correction, i love snow," I saying looking up on the sky.

Ace suddenly pulls away causing me to frown.

"Get dressed," he instructs suddenly.

"Excuse me?"

"We're going on a date, go get dressed."

"I'm sorry, are you telling me to go on a date or are you asking me?"

"Oh right, Ray Griffin, soon to be King-"

"Wait hold o-"

"Will you go on our first official date?"

"Yes you big dork," I laugh shaking my head.

As I'm walking away, I hear him say under his breath, "I'm not a dork, am I?" Which ends up making me laugh harder.

After taking a shower, I look at my closet and see nothing date worthy and start pacing.

"I told you, you can wear anything and still take my breath away," Ace, who's leaning on the door, says with an amused look.

"You know what? You're not helping! Get out please," i proceed to push him out of the room and lock it, hearing his laugh from outside.

I reach to get Ace's phone since I don't have one and call Rose with her number memorized.

"Hello?"

"Rose you gotta help me! I don't know what to wear."

"Ray? What are you talking about, are you okay?"

"No, I don't know what to wear for my first date you gotta help me."

"Well sweetheart, I'm working right now but I can take a break to video chat you."

"You're truly a lifesaver," I sniffle dramatically.

"Whatever, you're telling me everything when you get back," she laughs.

The entire hour was her telling me what to do. In the end, I wore a white dress with black buttons and black boots that reach my knee, curled my hair and put on a Smokey eye that was Rose's idea.

She ended the call with her boss yelling at her for taking too long so I sprayed some perfume and got some knitted gloves before heading downstairs.

"Listen Montgomery, I can't deal with your bull at the moment. Talk to Blake and have him figure it out," Ace angrily hangs up and looks around for something to calm him down.

"Hey, you okay?"

Once he sees me, he doesn't react in any way. He stands there, holding my stare as I descend from the stairs.

The second I reach him, his lips come crashing on mine faster than I could blink. I tried to respond with his speed and passion, but he beat me by stages. His tongue traces my lower lip, but I couldn't tell what he wanted so when he pinched by butt slightly and I gasped, I realized I was supposed to allow tongue passage.

When he calms down, he pulls away with me breathing harshly.

"Too much?" He asks in a whisper.

"Just give me a minute," he nods and pulls me into a hug. "You gonna tell me what that was about?"

"You gonna tell me why you're always so gorgeous?"

"That's not the same thin-"

"Exactly, you can't," he smiles and takes my hand, walking towards the car that's outside.

"Where are we going?"

"We haven't had breakfast yet, so I'm thinking some breakfast," he glances at me before refocusing on the road.

(A/N: I'm going to skip the details of the date because it's not that detailed, they'll go on other dates. It's not like this is the last one. I'll maybe write a bonus chapter if anyone would like, but this chapter is already too long)

The date consisted of us going to a cute cafe to get some pancakes, some music in the car while we drove around requested by me, some shopping, going to the park, an expensive restaurant for lunch and then we headed back home when it was starting to get dark.

"Chick-fil-a would've been just fine for lunch, you know?" I say as Ace opens the door.

"I get it, you liked the place. A simple thank you would do babe," the fact that he called me babe so casually for the first time should be okay, we're dating. He's allowed to, but my heart couldn't stop beating fast the entire day and now this? Lord help me.

"Are we supposed to go to sleep?" I ask once we get in.

Not hearing a response, I turn around and get pulled into a hug, his face taking it's usual place in the crook of my neck.

"I was promised some cuddling this morning, you know? A man can only wait for so long," he whispers into my ear, causing goosebumps on my arms.

"I'll go make popcorn, put on grey's anatomy on Netflix and get a fort of blankets after you've finished changing," I take my boots off quickly, already getting excited.

"Someone is getting bossy, and someone is really enjoying it," he smirks and pecks my lips before going to do what I asked for.
