"Eat lunch with me."

"No."

"Oh come on. You're such a downer." Jeongguk frowns as Jimin once again denies his request to eat lunch with him. "That's the third time this week you've denied it, just give in already." Jeongguk pouts at Jimin, using his best puppy dog eyes.

"No." Jimin avoids his gaze and pushes the tray of hospital food towards Jeongguk before checking his stats and turning to leave.

"Then I guess I'll just have to get up and get lunch with you myself. I hate this mushy shit anyways, I want the good stuff the doctors get."

Jeongguk begins to push himself up and off the bed, despite clear instructions to stay laying down. He grits his teeth at the pain of trying to stand up.

Suddenly Jimin is turned back around and running towards Jeongguk.

"You idiot. You can seriously ruin the healing process by doing this. Why didn't you stop when it hurt?" Jimin lightly pushes Jeongguk back down onto the bed, checking to make sure his ribs hadn't shifted.

"You know...if you just ate lunch with me this wouldn't have happened." Jimin rolls his eyes and attempts to step away from Jeongguk's body but realizes his wrist is in the clutches of the boy in front of him.

"Let go."

"No."

"Let. Go."

"Not happening." Jeongguk pulls on Jimin's wrist, causing him to fall forward and...directly on top of Jeongguk.

Jimin looked up with an angry glare covering his face until he realized how close they were. He felt his face heat up, his flaming cheeks seeming to give off its own atmosphere of temperature.

"Hey there." Jeongguk said with a wink, ignoring the pain of having someone on top of him. Jimin's face deepens in color and he becomes even more flustered.

"I-uh-I have to-umm-g-go." Jimin gets off of Jeongguk and quickly runs out of the room covering his face.

Jeongguk lays in the empty room with a triumphant smirk plastered on his face as he begins to shovel the mush of food into his mouth.

Jimin stands in front of the running sink, watching his own reflection as the red slightly leaves his cheeks. He splashes the cold sink water onto his face, the droplets reaching the tips of his dark hair.

Once he had calmed down enough that the blush was only slightly present, Jimin decided it was about time he got back to the trauma center.

He breathed deeply before turning to leave the bathroom. As he reached for the door handle it was already being opened by a tall, raspy voiced doctor. Jimin, not expecting the sudden opening of the door, jumped nearly right out of his skin.

"Jesus fuck! Taehyung you scared me." Taehyung apologized before eyeing the suspicious blush painted across Jimin's face.

"Did something happen?" Taehyung closely inspected Jimin's face, looking for signs of a lie, an eyebrow lift or a lip twitch.

"Oh, it was nothing. Just some patient getting on my nerves is all." It wasn't a lie, but it also wasn't the full truth of what happened. However, Taehyung seemed satisfied with his answer and nodded.

Jimin scurried past Taehyung in the doorway, quickly turning the corner and resting his back against the wall, holding his hand on his chest. He huffed out a quick breath before leaving to check up on other patients and take care of incoming traumas.

A few hours later, Jeongguk sat bored in his hospital room, channel hopping on the television and waiting for Jimin to come back.

The door opened and Jeongguk looked over, his eyebrow raised and ready to make a quick remark to make Jimin flustered, however, he was met with an unknown face.

"Where's Jimin?" Jeongguk questioned the small girl.

The girl tucked a piece of loose hair behind her ear before responding in a small, squeaky voice, "Who?"

"Dr.Park, you know? My doctor."

The girl's eyes widened in recognition. "Oh, Dr.Park assigned me to you. He said something about not having the time to deal with troublesome patients. Oh I wasn't supposed to say that. I apologize. I'm just an intern but I swear I'll take good care of you. You don't have to worry." Jeongguk raised his brow, jaw clenched in annoyance.

"Oh really? Well then, are you good at putting IV's in?" The short girl nods.

"I'd like to think so. Why?" Before she had even gotten her full question out, Jeongguk had pulled the IV out of his arm. "Oh. Um. I guess I'll show you then, if you're nervous."

The skittish girl scuttled over to Jeongguk's side, ignoring the strong glare boring holes into her skull. She grabbed the IV tube and was preparing to place it back into Jeongguk's arm. She held Jeongguk's arm in her hand, searching for his vein.

"Ouch. You're hurting me," Jeongguk muttered out, completely monotonous. The girl looked at him, clearly not believing a word he said.

"Just stay still and it won't hurt, Mr.Jeon." Jeongguk rolled his eyes and the girl quickly looked down and placed the IV back in its rightful place. "There, all better. See?"

Jeongguk nods. The girl hums in satisfaction before checking his vitals and listening to his heart.

"Alright, you're all set! See you again in a few more hours, Mr.Jeon." The girl forced a smile onto her face, trying to conceal her annoyance at Jeongguk's behavior.

Before she could reach the door Jeongguk pulled the IV out again.

"I want Park Jimin. Bring him back."

"What the fuck?" The girl scowled before replacing it with an even faker smile. "I mean, I'm sorry Mr.Jeon, but you're my patient now. He gave me your case." She walked back over to Jeongguk, planning on putting his IV back in but Jeongguk had other plans.

Jeongguk grabbed the doctor's wrist, not enough to hurt her but enough to be annoying and inescapable.

"I won't shut up or stop pulling out my IV unless you bring me Park Jimin back." Jeongguk smirked at the girl, seeing her nervous habit of biting the inside of her lip.

"Fine! I'll get him. Just let go of me." Jeongguk releases her wrist, a cheeky smile spreading across his face.

Approximately ten minutes later, an annoyed Jimin walked into the room, crossing his arms and staring at the cocky Jeongguk.

"What do you want?"

"I want you to be my doctor again."

Jimin scoffed. "Not happening. You never leave me alone." Jeongguk pouted in response, mimicking the crossing of his arms.

"But I'm a patient, I'm sickly and on my death bed." Jeongguk puts the back of his hand on his forehead and pretends to faint. "So weak...I think...I see the light." Jeongguk fake coughs, looking to see Jimin's reaction. Straight-faced.

"You expect me to fall for that?" Jimin raises his eyebrow. Jeongguk nods like a little kid, making puppy dog eyes at Jimin.

"Pretty please with a cherry on top?" Jeongguk asked, receiving a look of disgust from the boy in front of him.

"Fine. But please don't say that ever again. And don't make that stupid face at me." Jimin tapped his foot on the ground, using a firm tone with the childish Jeongguk.

"Yippee! I won Jiminie back!" Jeongguk smiled widely before suddenly placing his hand against his chest, the monitors going wild beside him.

Jeongguk was crashing again.
