A few hours after surgery Jeongguk had finally woken up. He looked around at the bare yellow walls and inhaled the antiseptic air.

Jimin was walking past the room when he noticed that Jeongguk was now awake. He knocked and followed through the open door.

Jeongguk gave a lazy smile to Jimin, his bunny teeth poking out slightly.

"So doc, did I do well?"

Jimin slightly chuckled and responded, "Well you almost died a few times but I got you back on track."

"Knew I could count on you, kitty." Jeongguk plastered his face with a cheeky smirk.

"K-kitty?" Jimin frowned slightly and furrowed his eyebrows.

"You only proved my point by making that face. You're like a kitten." Jimin's face flushed pink and he took a deep breath before scrambling over to check Jeongguk's vitals.

"Well, everything looks good. You have to stay here for at least a week to let your ribs heal though. Also to give your heart a break. I'll go get your emergency contact from the waiting room." Jimin turned to walk out and Jeongguk waved goodbye, ripping his IV out of his arm.

"Ow! Shit..." Jimin whipped around and saw the tube hanging from Jeongguk's hand as he gave an 'I'm sorry' smile.

"Guess I'll have to fix that first." Jimin trudged over to the edge of Jeongguk's bed and took the tube in his hand. He felt around for Jeongguk's vein to replace the IV when Jeongguk suddenly blurted out-

"The way you're touching my arm is kind of hot."

"I'm putting your IV in, Jeongguk. Stay still." A blush dusted Jimin's face as he tried to concentrate on putting the IV back in.

He got the tube back in Jeongguk's arm and turned to leave again.

"I'll be back in a minute, please behave."

Jeongguk sent a wink towards Jimin and he rolled his eyes. He grabbed Jeongguk's patient file and wrote down his stats as he made his way to the waiting room to grab Jeongguk's emergency contact.

"Hello, Jung Hoseok? I'm Jeongguk's doctor."

"Hey man! How's he doing? Heard he got into a crash and boy was I surprised...NOT. I'm not surprised just disappointed. I told him to be careful on that bike." The man named Hoseok rambled as he brushed his hand through his bright red hair.

Jimin just nodded.

"Well he's stable for now. He broke some ribs and his heart is a little weak at the moment so we're keeping him here to watch him for a bit. Follow me and I'll take you to his room." Hoseok jumped up at the sound of that and began to follow Jimin through the pristine white hallways.

When they arrived at Jeongguk's room Jimin's eyes widened at the sight before him.

Jeongguk had knocked over his lamp on the side table and had pressed a button on the bed controller that put him at a 45 degree angle. His IV had also been ripped out again.

"You're...an idiot." Hoseok began laughing hysterically and fell to his knees while clutching his stomach, wiping tears from his eyes.

After fixing his bed and putting everything back into place, including Jeongguk's IV, Jeongguk finally acknowledged his visitor.

"Hobi hyung!"

"Hey Jeongguk, you idiot, I told you to be careful on the bike!" Jeongguk rolled his eyes in annoyance.

"Yeah I know, I know."

"Anyways Gguk, how the hell did the crash happen?" Jimin nods beside Hoseok, interested to hear the story.

"Well...I was just driving along and there was...a racoon in the road and I couldn't just hit it so I stopped and the car behind me hit me!" Hoseok raised his eyebrows and Jimin had a look of disbelief covering his face.

"A...racoon. And you almost die. Unbelievable. You're truly an idiot, you know that?" Jimin says while itching the back of his head.

"Not a single scratch on the racoon though. He made it to safety." Jeongguk smiles proudly while Jimin and Hoseok stare at him and begin to giggle.

Both Hoseok and Jimin remark at the same time, "An idiot."
