Jimin realized what he was doing after it was already too late. After making out with Jeongguk for a solid five minutes, Jimin pulled away and his mind cleared.

Jeongguk laid in his bed, watching Jimin's process of realization with a huge smile covering his face. Jimin turned a flaming red and looked wide-eyed at Jeongguk.

"I-I'm sorry! I don't know what came over me. You're a patient. You're my patient. I just blanked out and did that. I can't believe myself. Oh my god. I h-have to go," Jimin managed to stutter out through his embarrassment.

"Jimin. Just do it again."

Jimin stared at Jeongguk, considering it. He looked down to Jeongguk's lips and then back to his eyes. Repeating that process three more times. Jimin let out a distressed sigh before slapping both sides of his face slightly and taking a deep breath. He opened his eyes.

"I'm sorry, Mr.Jeon. I was out of line and should be focusing on patient care. I must not have gotten enough sleep. I can assure you that it won't happen again. Sorry to bother you." Jimin turned and walked out the door without waiting another second.

The next morning Jimin walked into Jeongguk's hospital room and avoided eye contact.

"Good morning, Mr.Jeon. I'll just be checking your status for right now and then I'll be out of your way. Later, we will resume where we left off with walking." Jimin walked over to the edge of Jeongguk's bed, examining the monitors.

"Jimin, you don't have to act like this. Can we go back to the way we were?"

Jimin glances at Jeongguk warily.

"Mr.Jeon, I'm not sure what you mean. We were always like this." Jimin places a polite smile on his lips despite the sorrow in his eyes.

"No, Jimin. We weren't. You didn't use all that 'Mr.Jeon' crap before. Don't start now. We don't have to do any of that stuff again, I'm sorry I ever did it." Jimin's heart dropped, but he had to stay strong.

"What stuff Mr.Jeon?" Jimin watches the heart monitor, watching the sharp lines go across the screen, avoiding Jeongguk's piercing gaze.

"You know what I'm talking about. Can't we just go back to where I annoy you and make stupid jokes? I miss you, Jiminie."

"Miss me? But I'm right here, Mr.Jeon. I'm flattered that you enjoy my company as your doctor." Jimin again gives that small, polite smile to Jeongguk. "I must go attend to my other patients now. I will see you later." Jimin nearly makes it to the door before he hears the familiar sound of Jeongguk pulling out his IV.

Jimin turns, smile gone, his lip twitching upwards in annoyance. "Jeon Jeongguk. I better not hear that machine another time after this one. If I hear it again, mark my words, I'll never get you the green jello again." Jeongguk just smiles.

"There's my boy," Jeongguk says as Jimin storms over, the same look of annoyance on his face as always. Jeongguk's smile widens.

Jimin mutters angrily under his breath as he fixes Jeongguk's IV. Jeongguk just admires him, his scrunched up eyebrows and irritated little frown. His lips. His plump, pink lips.

Jimin looks at Jeongguk, sees him staring and freezes.

"Jeongguk."

Jeongguk watches as his lips form his name, enjoying how his name looks coming out of Jimin's mouth.

"Jeongguk. Stop. I can't do that." Jeongguk looks up into his eyes.

"So I'm your patient. And obviously patient and doctor relations are inappropriate. You can't kiss me but...what if I kiss you? You can always just say that I made the move. Technically, I'm not breaking the rules." Jeongguk leans up, his breath hitting Jimin's lips.

Jimin looks down at Jeongguk's mouth. His face was so close. His breath picks up as he almost lets Jeongguk press a kiss to his lips. He backs away at the last second.

"I-," Jimin looks down at the ground, a pink twinge becoming evident across his cheeks. "I'll be back later. Don't do anything stupid." He huffs and leaves the room.

Jeongguk yells out to him, "Oh, and on your way back, green jello is preferred!" He listens as Jimin scoffs before walking down the rest of the hallway.

Jimin made his way back to Jeongguk's room after a surgery and checkups on his other patients. On his way there he started to notice a strange rope of blankets going along the wall starting in the middle of Jeongguk's hall. He spotted a little girl making the blanket rope straighter to make it flow even more down the hallway.

"Um, excuse me. What's your name?"

"My name's Min-seo! What's your name?" The girl gives a wide smile, showing her missing two front teeth. Jimin smiles sweetly down at her and crouches to her level.

"My name is Dr.Park. Now, can I ask you what you're doing with this rope of blankets?" The girls eyes brighten as she begins to tell Jimin about her fun adventure.

"Oh! The man in room 102 was tying all these together and he gave me the very special job of seeing how far it can go! He said it was very important and that I was helping him a lot since he isn't allowed out of bed yet!" The girl bounces up and down, excited about her special task.

Jimin's smile faded.

"Jeongguk..." He patted Min-seo on the head sweetly and put on a fake smile. "Keep up the good work! I'm going to go check on that guy." She nodded enthusiastically and once again tended to the blankets, pulling them even farther.

Jimin approaches Jeongguk's door, from which the line of blankets starts. He walks in, arms crossed and foot tapping. He observes the blanketless bed with the giggling man tying another blanket onto the end of the rope.

"Jeongguk. Care to explain?" Jeongguk looked up from his work and started hysterically laughing.

"You should see your face!" He wipes a few genuine tears of laughter from his eyes. "Ah. You look so cute when you're angry. Anyways, did you meet Min-seo? What a cutie pie."

"Why are you getting other patients involved with your shenanigans?" Jeongguk smirked.

"Well, I can't exactly leave bed without your help so I wanted to take the shenanigans to you, too bad you found out before we got it all the way across the hospital. I was even having the nurse bring more blankets!" Jimin just shakes his head and sighs, slightly smiling.

"I can't believe you. How could you take advantage of a sweet little girl like that?" Jimin walks closer to Jeongguk, pulling up a chair.

"She offered to help! It's not like I kidnapped her, it was her choice." Jeongguk crosses his arms and sticks his bottom lip out in a pout. "And it did get your attention so...mission accomplished!" Jimin sighs again and laughs a little.

"You're an idiot, I swear." Jeongguk just shrugs.

"What can I say? I'm just great at getting your attention." He winks and Jimin turns a shade of pink.

"Well, let's get you walking." Jeongguk's eyes light up at the mention of him being able to get up.

Jimin supports Jeongguk as he lifts him up and has him take a few steps.

"Do you want to try a little more without as much help?"

"Yes, please!" Jeongguk smiles and Jimin shifts in front of him, only holding onto his hands.

"Now take a few steps."

Jeongguk complies and takes a few slow steps. They're interrupted when they get halfway to the chair by a small voice projecting from the doorway.

"Mr.Jeon! Mr.Jeon! We made it all the way to the second floor vending machines!" Jimin looks over his shoulder to see little Min-seo smiling widely at the man behind him.

"Min-seo, that's awesome! I knew you could do it!" Min-seo giggles and a huge smile covers her face as she looks at Jeongguk.

"Wow you're standing! I'll still help you make the blanket train longer though, even if you can stand on your own now. Don't you...worry..." Min-seo's entire attitude changes as her eyes widen in fear. "Dr.Park, what's happening to Mr.Jeon?"

Jimin whips his head back around to see Jeongguk falling over, his forehead drenched in sweat and his eyes rolling back into his head.
