An alarm buzzes awakening me; my eyelashes flutter opening. All is still disguised in dark making me groan in frustration. Corbyn moves taking his cell in hand and stops its annoying static noise.

His eyes connect with his and he smiles noticing my frown.

"Sorry,"

"It's too early," I mumble grasping his shirt in petite balls on my fists.

"I know, I gotta go home though," His hand strokes my back as he kisses my forehead. He places me on his side to leave but I don't let him. I envelop him in my arms hiding my head in his neck.

His chuckle ceases the silence before his voice caresses my ear.

"I have to go," His voice is raspier than usual like every other morning. I moan not letting him. "I know, baby,"

I lay next to him after I stick my bottom lip out. I don't hear him standing up and I peep. I giggle as I find him looking at me with a playful smirk.

"Is that what's going to happen every time I leave?" I nod pouting again. I open one of my eyes peeking at him and laugh when he narrows his fuzzy blue ocean eyes.

"Sorry," I whisper. He nears me pressing his lips on mine. I clasp his head before he rolls and lays on top of me. His fingers sink into my skin flaming my cells. His fingertips run from my ankle and up quivering my body. I tug his hair with more force as I explode.

We're both breathless once the kiss is broken. I stare up at him panting.

"Well, that wasn't how I saw the morning going," I smile digging my hands on his hair. He pecks at my lips standing up. He moves around the room to gather his stuff.

"Why don't you bring some of your clothes here?" His eyes fly to mine. "What?" I ask watching surprise flashing across his features. He stands still for a moment and a grimace troubles my face.

A shadow of a smile appears on his mouth yet dies before I can be certain of its presence. He walks and sits right next to me and I lean up to be able to see him clearly. My lamp's light makes him glow reminding me of one of his angelic charms all over again.

"You really want me to?" His tone sends shivers on my spine trembling my body. His husky morning voice combined with his darkening eyes affects me immediately. My breathing increases and my heart thunders against my cage rib.

"Yes," I whisper. My frown deepens as he doesn't utter a word. "Why are you looking at me like that?" Slowly, a grin stretches across his face causing his eyes to gleam in sync.

He comes closer setting his hands on the sides of me in the mattress. The proximity still makes my heart skip a beat; I don't think I'll ever get used to him.

"Just when I think you can't surprise me anymore," I shrug.

"Well, we aim to keep you interested," He chuckles at my words and kisses me. He bites my lip and just like this, his tongue glides through my mouth. I allow myself to enjoy the sense of him on me; his scent traveling around me intoxicating my air. I pull away laying back down in the cottony covers.

When I look at him, he titles his head to the side as if I'm a creature he can't comprehend. And has no idea what to do with it.

"What?" He shakes his head dismissing my question.

"I'll see you in school, okay?" He leans down and kisses me. He leans back and I sit up not disconnecting our mouths. When he tears our lips apart, I groan. I grasp his shirt bringing him down.

"Just one more," He kisses me again melting all my insides.

"I love you," He whispers.

"I love you too,"

I bury my trembling hands on my jacket glancing around. The usual sickening feeling has revisited me leaving me with a knotty stomach and terrible headache which sends throbbing pains in my skull.

I dial my angel's number again and praying he picks up as the waiting sound fills the line. I huff at my lack of success and stride towards the yard.

Moving bodies, cheerful voices and shouts, people chatting and laughing are all around me as I look around in order to detect my angel.

"Hey," A deep voice speaks but I keep moving. "Amelia," At the sound of my name, I whirl around to find Christian.

"Hi," I murmur meeting his gaze for a second before I continue my search. My phone flashes and the minutes keep passing increasing my anxiety and the pace of my beating heart.

"Is everything okay?" He asks frowning as he eyes me.

"No, actually it isn't. Do you know where Corbyn is? I really need to talk to him,"

"Yes, I was heading there right now," I smile.

"Thank you,"

His friends have all gathered as well as some girls. His glistening blonde hair waves as his head falls backward. His laughter eases a jittery part of me yet I need him to stop my nerves from exploding. Cyle locates me first.

"Hey, princess," He snickers as his eyes rise from my toes to my head. Corbyn turns and a frown marries his face when he sees me.

"What's going on?" He walks to me and every step he takes stiffens his body loading it with tension.

"I have a biology test in fifteen minutes," It takes him a second to realize and he shuts his eyes running his hand through his tousles hair.

"Shit," He takes my hand on his.

"I can't believe you forgot!" I complain. "I have been calling you for the last minutes. I even remind you of it yesterday night along with the four times I mentioned it last week. It's important to me,"

"Is rambling another symptom you have when you get nervous?"

"Yes," I say before I swat his arm making him chuckle. His hand squeezes mine when we reach the corridor where our small room is. My heart begins to palpitate strongly. I feel weak as if all my bones are numbing or kneeling as I step closer to the door. Corbyn pounds it closing it behind him.

He grabs my waist placing me above a desk and a gasp escapes my lips as electricity crushes through me. I watch him in a daze not knowing if I'm no longer nervous about my test or my angel.

My heart makes a flip as he kisses me passionately making all my thoughts and worries vanish as long as he's here. And I'm inside his arms.

"Time is up!" My teacher exclaims right before the deafening ringing of the bell dismisses us ending the time of the test. I look down at my paper with a wide proud smile.

I rush through the crowded hallways when screams cut through the noise turning all the voices mute. Everything around me slows down as I look around; all have stopped walking or speaking yet I can't detect the origin of the shouts.

A screech boom again and I walk speedily in the hallway on my right. A far a group has started forming as students approach to get a better look. I move towards it carefully not wanting to get caught in the mess. Just when I decide to go away; familiar faces creep through the mase of shoulders and heads.

I stand on my toes trying to see clearer. I frown as I see Cyle, Jace with Jacob fighting with some other group of boys I don't recognize. Enraged glares are exchanged before Cyle attacks one boy that stands in front of him. And all the bodies connect in battle. I see Jace punching an oranged-hair boy before my vision gets blocked.

People around me start cheering and shouting all together creating noisy chaos. My heart thuds against my chest as my ears hurt from all the yelling. Forms swing me while more students want to get through and see what is happening. I begin to draw away from the fight knowing that the Principal will be here along with the teachers when my eye catches a unique shade of blonde.

The realization knocks me over stopping my breathing. I move forwards instead of running away through the sweating bodies. He stands a few feet away from the fight without interfering and I couldn't be possible more grateful at that.

One more last fight and he gets expelled. His sharp chaw tenses and my eyes sink lower to his flexed forearms and fists. I push my way through despite the roars of action. An elbow kicks my stomach and my body spasms reeling me.

Though when I look up, I wish I hadn't. My angel's eyes are trained on the guy Jacob fights and his eyes are glowing with rage. He's using every inch of self-control and resistance he has but it's wearing thin.

"Corbyn," I call out his names as loud as I can but my voice gets lost in the chaos leaving me with an aching throat. I yell again.

Jacob's body falls backward and the unknown boy throws him on the floor before his foot kicks him. My eyes widen and find my angel the moment he gives up.

The boy doesn't get a second chance as Corbyn moves to block his way to Jacob who is laying on the ground coughing. Corbyn's fist hits the boy's nose throwing his head backward. My angel's moves are fast as he hits him in his sensitive area make him kneel in sorrow.

The instant, his body falls on his knees, Corbyn thuds him on the floor before he stands above him and starts beating him with no mercy. Blood starts gushing out of his mouth.

A sharp voice cuts the voice above the noise causing me to freeze in my tracks.

"Oh, shit, the Principal," A murmur confirms my greatest fear making me run towards Corbyn.

"Corbyn!" I scream just before I reach him. The moment I'm free, I run to him. I don't think if I get caught or if someone hits me, I just think of my angel.

I grasp his shirt shouting his name to make him stop. He doesn't hear me. He doesn't stop making the blood run speedily. His eyes are covered by an endless blackness; as if he's lost in another world. He traped in his adrenaline that lights in his veins, the fire that burns him when he fights.

My eye catches the Principal's body coming closer and I do the one thing that flashes in my mind. I use all my strength and throw myself in him the moment he raises his hand. His vulnerable position works in my favor as I push him backward.

My bones hurt and scream in pain. He's push back and when his eyes finds me, surprise crosses his features. I force him against the wall and I climb on him right before I crash my lips on his.

His abrupt intake of breath gets lost. It takes him a moment until he kisses him back and I slide my arms around his neck. Fearing of him breaking the kiss, for the first time, I split his lips and unite our tongues with more need than the time I run to him in the field.

"Knock it off, all of you!" His known voice injuries my ears but I don't stop. "All of you,"

When the cries reduce and I feel my universe blacking out due to the lack of oxygen, I break the kiss. Our eyes connect for a moment to find him gaping at me. My feet touch the ground and I lean back on my angel feeling the consequences of my passionate kiss and anxiety weakening me.

"Mr. Hamilton," He starts calling out the names of the involved boys, and my heart splitters from the nervousness. "Come with me now!" His face reddens as his chest moves rapidly. "Mr. Smith," He eyes Jacob. "I think you should go to the nurse's office but after you come to me,"

His eyes travel around before they land on us.

"Were you involved Mr. Carter?" My body tenses up in terror. Oh no.

"Sort of,"

"Did you started it?"

"No, sir,"

"Did you made Mr. Wright almost lose his senses?" His tone sends chill all over me and I chew my lip gripping Corbyn's shirt.

"I took care of him," Cyle snickers glaring at another boy who growls. The Principal turns to him again; evident doubt on his face.

"I was busy," Corbyn's voice relaxes me as he glides his arms around me. The Principal looks at me before his eyes get higher to meet Corbyn's.

"The next time be a little more discreet,"

The mass of watchers slowly evaporates as the teachers lead the boys towards the Principal's office.

"Jacob," I call. "Are you okay?"

"I'm fine," He smiles reassuringly. "Thanks," He says to Corbyn who just nods. I fall back realizing a breath I had hidden inside me. All the anxiety and burdens fade away as I lock my eyelids in relief.

"I saw what you did there," His whisper blazes my body making me lose my breath; my lugs begging for some. I can't think nor move as he takes my hair freeing my neck and pecks his lips below my ear.

Electricity thunders in me and I swirl around with widening eyes, gasping. His eyes are glittering as before except this time, desire is swimming in them swinging my body even at the sight.

"Uhm, I..." My voice is hoarse and I clear my throat to speak louder. My cheeks blaze as his grin widens increasing the temperature of my body.

"I...you're welcome," I say instead.

"I don't remember thanking you," His tone is weighted by sensual messages I'm not sure I comprehend.

"You should," He stares at me. "You can thank me later,"

I walk away feeling my body so heavy as if I'm dragging tones of stone behind me.
