Chapter 39: Adopt

The couples were living under the same roof. New marriage, new house, and new memories. Taehyung was roaming the house while Jungkook arranged the house. He went to the balcony, feeling refreshed.

He felt so different right now, he looks at the ring on his finger, and he can't help but he felt glee. He wonders what's the feeling of having a family but he knows he can't give it to Jungkook since he was a male.

"What you thinking, love?" Jungkook's voice from behind inquired.

Taehyung turns around, looking at him.

"Do you ever think of having a family? A child?" Taehyung asked biting his bottom lips.

Jungkook smiled opening his arms wide, Taehyung walked to him and hugged him.

"Yeah, I think of it a lot." Jungkook retorted caressing Taehyung's back.

"I'm sorry." Taehyung sighed feeling frustrated to himself.

"For what?" Jungkook asked confused.

Taehyung looked at him with a sad face and teary eyes.

"Because I'm not able to give you a child, I know, a male like us wants a family, I also want a family, a child with you." Taehyung replied with a cracked tone.

Jungkook wipes Taehyung's tears away.

"Love, it's okay, you don't need to give me a child, we can adopt. Don't feel sorry about that, I know at the first you can't give me. That's why I already planned about it, I already talked with Sunshine's Orphan and the files of adoption were done. I'm just planning to tell you." Jungkook explained.

"Wuh-what?" Taehyung inquired surprised.

"Do you like my plans?" Jungkook asked.

Taehyung eagerly nodded his head and hugged Jungkook.

"That's a good plan Jungkook! Thank you!" Taehyung beamed in excitement.

"Don't cry again, promise me!" Jungkook told.

Taehyung looked at him, nodding his head.

"I won't cry again." Taehyung retorted.

"That's my good baby." Jungkook said pecking Taehyung's forehead.

"Thank you, Jungkook." Taehyung smiled

"For what?" Jungkook asked.

"Thank you for this, thank you for being positive and cheering me. You truly did what you said and I'm happy about that. I'm lucky that you're my husband. You're the best." Taehyung said and eyes filled with tears because of happiness.

"I'm lucky to be your husband too." Jungkook replied kissing Taehyung's tears away.

Taehyung snuggled on Jungkook's shoulder inhaling his alluring scent.

"By the way, do you want to see the orphan? I want you to meet our baby." Jungkook inquired.

"Really?! Is that okay?" Taehyung asked pulling away from Jungkook.

"Yeah, I'm done with my task here and I also want to meet the baby too." Jungkook replied

"Sure, Jungkookie." Taehyung smiled.

"Come on, let's go, wear your coat." Jungkook told.

"Okie." Taehyung giggled running to their room.

Jungkook smiled, he went downstairs to prepare the car. Taehyung followed him, Jungkook opened the door car for Taehyung who got inside the car. Jungkook started the car and the ride started.

They arrived at the orphanage, and Jungkook opened the door car once again. He held Taehyung's waist while walking inside.

"It's nice to see you here, Mr. Jeon." Lady Ahn bowed when Jungkook came.

"Nice to see you too, Lady." Jungkook bowed his head same as Taehyung for respect.

"Do you want to see Junghyun? He was playing in the playground." Lady Ahn inquired.

"Yes, we want to see him." Jungkook replied.

"Follow me." Lady Ahn told.

She lead the way to the playground, they saw a lot of orphan kids playing around. Some of them are on the sandcastle, seesaw, balls, running around, and swings.

"Kids, greet Mr. Jeon, he donated to us for the food and accessories here." Lady Ahn ordered.

The kids stopped playing and bowed their heads.

"Hello Mister, thank you for your donations!" The kid said in synch.

Taehyung silently giggled at their actions.

"Okay, go back to play." Lady Ahn clapped her hand.

The kids started to play again, and Taehyung felt someone holding his hand. He looked down and saw the little kid boy, height on his waist, innocent shining doe eyes, lips pouty, black coconut hair, and holding a flower crown.

"S-s-sit." The boy stuttered.

Taehyung squatted, and the boy put the flower crown on his head.

"B-b-beautiful." The boy stuttered while smiling.

"Thank you." Taehyung smiled back.

The boy blushed a bit and ran away.

"That's Junghyun, he's shy, introverted, and he doesn't want to play but he's good in art, that was his habit." Lady Ahn described.

"Why he's here?" Taehyung asked still looking at Junghyun.

"His parents passed away, and none of his relatives wants him so they brought him here. That's why he can't trust anyone easily because he thought they will leave him too, he's 7 years old. He spends his day doing arts, he was scared of rain, and small holes." Lady Ahn replied sighing.

Taehyung pitied the boy, he wonders how the boy handles it.

"I like him." Taehyung smiled.

"As you say, You can take him, and don't worry I already told him about that." Lady Ahn said.

"Thank you." Taehyung replied.

"Junghyun, come here!" Lady Ahn yelled.

Junghyun ran to her looking confused.

"Pack your things, they will take care of you. You already know about it, right? Don't worry, they will give you everything you want, and you won't be alone again." Lady Ahn said ruffling his hair.

"Luh-like toys?" Junghyun asked.

"Yeah, many many toys." Jungkook joined.

"Yehey!" Junghyun jumped in happiness and ran to his room.

"Take care of him, Mr. Jeon." Lady Ahn said.

"I will." Jungkook replied.

Jungkook patted Taehyung's waist, signaling him to follow him. They went to Junghyun who was holding a teddy bear and a SpongeBob bag on his back.

"Let's go." Taehyung said and held Junghyun's hand.

"Leggo!" Junghyun retorted, his small hands gripping Taehyung's large hand.

Jungkook thanked Lady Ahn before leaving, he opened the door car on the passenger seat. Taehyung helped Junghyun to get inside the car and followed beside him.

Now, their journey of being parents will start.
