Chapter 12: Smile

Taehyung woke up, and a ray of sunlight makes him wake up from his deep slumber. He saw Jungkook opening the curtains. He groans which made Jungkook hear him.

"Oh, you're awake, stand up and clean yourself. We're going to eat breakfast together." Jungkook told him with a smile plastered on his face.

Taehyung hums in response. He stood up and went into the bathroom. Jungkook smiled and went downstairs.

He prepared the food on the table. He was the one who cooked it, he wants to impress Taehyung for some reason. He heard footsteps and saw Taehyung coming downstairs in a plain white shirt and black sweat shorts.

"Good Morning, have a seat." Jungkook uttered, pulling out the chair for him.

Taehyung mouthed 'thank you' and takes a seat. Jungkook smiled and takes a seat as well in front of Taehyung. Their food is just simple bacon and eggs, paired with pancakes that have strawberry syrup and of course banana milk for Jungkook.

"Sorry, if the taste is bad, that's my fault. I just tried to cook and it's been a long time since I cooked. I'm not sure if the taste will be good." Jungkook muttered shyly while rubbing the back of his neck.

"It's fine, I won't mind." Taehyung simply replied and grabbed the pancakes.

Jungkook smiled once again and ate the bacon. Silence filled the dining room since it was kind of awkward and new feelings for both of them. Taehyung enjoyed the taste of pancakes since it was strawberry.

"Do you want more strawberry syrup?" Jungkook asked noticing that the gorgeous boy was enjoying the food he cooked.

"Yes, please." Taehyung didn't hesitate to reply quickly when he heard Jungkook.

Jungkook chuckled, he stood up and went to the kitchen to take the strawberry syrup. He got back to his seat and gave it to Taehyung. Taehyung poured not that much syrup into his pancake.

Jungkook grabbed the tissue and stood up, he bends down to wipe Taehyung's lips. Taehyung looked at him with innocent doe eyes still munching his pancake. He has a cute pouty lip while eating.

"Don't eat that fast, that's all yours." Jungkook told him because the gorgeous boy was chewing so fast as if someone will take his food and throw the tissue in the trash bin.

"Sowwy, I just like the food." Taehyung muttered.

Jungkook ruffled his hair, he sat down and watched Taehyung adorably eating his food.

When they are done, Jungkook washes the dishes. Taehyung went to the kitchen.

"Ahm, Can I help you?" Taehyung asked while fidgeting his finger.

Jungkook gawked at him and just smile.

"No need, just do whatever you want or take a rest." Jungkook simply responded.

"But I also ate the food, so please let me wash them." Taehyung sighed.

He was bored because he has nothing to do. He likes being lazy but today, he wants to do at least something to entertain himself.

"Taehyung" Jungkook uttered looking at him.

"Pretty please, It's boring you know. Besides, I can assure you that I won't break them." Taehyung retorted.

"Fine" Jungkook sighed in defeat and dried his hands.

Taehyung went to the sink and washed the dishes. He was now satisfied with himself.

"You're cute." Jungkook suddenly muttered and ruffled his hair.

The gorgeous boy was kind of taken aback by that. He didn't expect to get a compliment just because of washing. He just watched Jungkook leave after his phone has rung.

"Yes, what is it?" Jungkook inquired while organizing their clothes in their room and sitting on the bed.

"Jungkook, I told you, you can't back off from the dare. Do it or else I let someone do the dare." Jackson threatened him.

"As if I let you succeed that, don't get near to Taehyung. If you don't want to see your grim reaper." Jungkook shot back.

"Just do the dare and we're done. So simple, that's it." Jackson retorted through his gritted teeth.

"I back out already, don't force me to do one thing that I don't like. Or I'm going to punch you once I see your face." Jungkook warned him while fisting his hands on the clothes.

"You'll regret everything Jungkook, I'll make sure you'll regret backing off from this deal. I don't accept defeat, bastard. You failed me, asshole." Jackson grumbled and ended the call after that.

Jungkook poked his inner cheeks and his anger rose. He almost wants to punch the wall in their room.

"Jungkook"

He went back to his senses and looked at the gorgeous boy. Taehyung was standing at the door while holding the door frame. Jungkook's anger decreases and pushed his hair to the back.

"Why? Do you need anything?" Jungkook asked as he stood up.

"Ahm, Can I go to Jimin hyung? He invites me to eat lunch with him, is that fine with you?" Taehyung asked and his lips form on a thin.

For some reason, he felt like he needed to ask permission from Jungkook.

"Uh, sure, want me to take you there?" Jungkook offered.

"That's good, thank you." Taehyung smiled and his mood lightened up.

"Let's go?" Jungkook uttered and extend his hand for Taehyung to hold.

Taehyung was kind of hesitant but he accepts Jungkook's hand anyway.

"Sure, come on." Taehyung said.

Jungkook dragged the gorgeous boy out of their room. He took his car keys from his pocket and they went downstairs. He locked the door of their house, he opened the car door for Taehyung. Taehyung mouthed 'thank you' to him and he got inside. He closed the door and hopped inside.

They've arrived in front of Jimin's house. Jungkook being a gentleman opens the car door for Taehyung.

"When will you come back?" Jungkook inquired when Taehyung went out of his car.

"I'll be back at 10 pm." Taehyung told him.

"Sure, I'll prepare dinner for us." Jungkook responded.

"Okay." Taehyung replied.

"Bye" Jungkook muttered and pecked Taehyung's forehead.

He got inside his car and bid goodbye to Taehyung. Taehyung wave his hand and watched Jungkook leave. Taehyung rolled his eyes and went inside the house.
