a statista review states that 35% of people view homosexuality as morally wrong as of 2019. 

a legal strategy still exists in the United States named the Gay Panic Defense. As stated in the Wikipedia article "in which a defendant claims they acted in a state of violent, temporary insanity, committing assault or murder, because of unwanted same-sex sexual advances" hereby pardoning aggressions, crimes, assault and murder under a simple claim of homophobia. Also to be mentioned: Transgender Panic Defense. This is still a viable legal strategy in 39 states. 

This is almost explicitly used by cisgender heterosexual men against gay men and transgender women. 

The CDC (center for disease control) has a National Youth Risk Behavior Survey that releases every year. 

In 2019:

10% of LGBT youth reported not going to school for safety reasons, 4% more than their heterosexual classmates. 

33% of LGBT youth reported being bullied at school compared to 17% of their heterosexual classmates.

9.4% of LGBT youth were threatened or injured with a weapon at school compared to 5.4% of heterosexual classmates.

21.9% of LGBT youth were forced to have sex compared to 5.4% of their heterosexual classmates. 

63% of LGBT youth reported feelings of depression compared to only 27.5% of heterosexual classmates. 

47% seriously considered suicide. 

38% made a plan. 

23% made an attempt. 

7% were injured.

while seeming to be an odd statistic that both Håkon and Miloš run and ran the risk of being disowned for their sexuality, it's not uncommon. While only 5% of the youth identifies as LGBT, they make up 40% of youth homelessness. Between 320,000 and 400,000 people. (center for american progress report) 

statistics stated in a Planned Parenthood article state that 11% of adults admit to some same sex attraction, 8.3% say they have participated in that attraction, but less than 4% identify in accordance. 

personal statistics as such can be skewed, often times people won't answer truthfully without knowing. sometimes personal homophobia runs so deep one cannot admit it to themselves.
