(Requested by: PeepHere. A lil' chapter for Error's  b-day. Bit of angst and than flooof.)

Error's POV:

I was sitting in my bed crying softly. It was my birthday and the gang didn't seem to remember. And I just started to think they really cared.

'Heh... guess I was wrong... besides who would care for such an mî§tâkë? Heh... why did I even bother, it was all űslēšş... I could never get an happy ending.'

As my mind was circling around bad thoughts I heard someone knock on my door.
''What?'' I yelled trying to stop my voice from cracking.
''Can I come in?'' I heard Nightmare reply.

''No.'' I said as I tried to dry my cheeks, but only more tears fell.
''Error I can sense what you're feeling, eather you let me in or I'll get in myself.'' he said sternly.

I was a bit surprised, form all the people in the castle Nightmare was the last one I'd suspect to do something so... compassionate.
''The door is open.'' I said, hiding my face in blanket, an pitiful attempt to hide my tears.

Nightmare walked in, quickly walking over and sitting beside me on the bed.
''What made you cry?'' he asked straight forward.
''Nothing important.'' I said trying to maintain some of my worth in his eyes.

''Error, I know you and I know that 'nothing important' doesn't make you feel this bad.'' Nightmare said with a sigh. ''But if you don't want to tell me that's fine.'' he said before turning and hugging me thighly.

''Just remember, I'm here if you ever need me.'' he continued softly. And I couldn't help to break down I clung to him for deer life, bawling my eyes out. And he sat there, hugging me tightly, whispering comforting words.

After almost half an hour I stopped crying, feeling exhausted for reasons I do not understand.
''Go to sleep, I'll be here when you wake up.'' I heard Nightmare say.
''Okay.'' I whispered ''Love you.''

''Love you too.'' was the last thing I heard before I fell asleep.

~time skip, what? you thought I'd just leave it at that? nah.~

I slowly stirred awake feeling Nightmares warmth next to me, I also heard... talking? I'm not sure I wasn't awake enough to tell.

I gogerely raised my head and looked around seeing all the gang here.
''Wha-?'' I asked confused.
''Surprise!'' They all shouted at once. They were all holding presents while Cross tried to keep the cake away from Horror.
''Y-you didn't forget.'' I said as tears pricked the corners of my eyes.

''Of course we did. We care about you remember?'' Nightmare said softly.
''Heh... yeah...'' I said 'Now I do.'' I thought to myself. 'And I'll remember from now on.'
