(So in my 'Little headcanons' chapter, someone mentioned this ship. I've seen it few times but never really looked into it so I just went: 'Eh why not?'. And now I ship it. So... I'll write a fic about.)

Error's POV:

I was sitting in my favourite spot in Outertale. I was wearing different clothes that hid my colourful bones, I also had my hood up to cover my face and my glasses on. All of that to get at least a little break, without fear of being attacked.

I was staring up the star filled sky when I heard something behind me. I immediately turned around. 'Was my disguise not good enough?' I asked myself.

Dream was the one behind me. I was on a edge of panic. Did he recognize me? Was he going to attack? Should I run away? My mind was running miles per hour, before he finally spoke up.

''Oh my! I'm sorry I didn't mean to scare you like that!'' he said in a worried tone. I sighed in relief realizing he didn't recognise me.
''It's fine.'' I said keeping my glitching to minimum so it sounded more like a stutter.

''I'm still very sorry.'' he said sitting down next to me. A bit to close for my liking so I scoot away a bit. He raised his eyebrow at that.
''I have haphephobia.'' I said quietly.
''What's that?'' he asked confused.
''It's a fear of being touched.'' I said even quieter.

''Oh God I'm so sorry.'' he apologised again.
''Pffhaha... You apologise to much. It's fine, you didn't know.'' I laughed softly. When was the last time I laughed like this? Probably quite a while.
''Really? Sor- wait no- I- Aghhh!'' I couldn't help but burst out laughing as he tried to form a sentence.

After I calmed down I looked at him to see that he was looking at me and... blushing? Why would he be blushing? He realised I was looking at him and looked away as his blush deepened. I probably embarrassed him.

''Sorry for laughing at you. But you were acting to cute.'' I said flirting slightly. His blush grew even deeper shade of yellow.
''I-it's fine. You have a w-wonderful laugh.'' he said sweetly.

I blushed myself, before I spoke again.
''Hey could we talk for a bit? I really enjoy your company.'' I said shyly.
''S-sure thing!'' he yelped in surprise.

''Oh wait! I forgot to introduce myself! I'm Dream! And what's your name?'' he asked politely.
''You can call me Erratum''

Dream's POV:

It's been few weeks since I started to hand out with Erratum, and it was great. He was nice and sweet, he always knew how to cheer me up and was always there to listen to me. And I  may or may not have a crush on him.

Anyway! I was on my way to Outretale after another fight with Error. He was acting weird for a while. He doesn't attack me and a wave of sadness and guilt emanating from his is stronger than ever.

I got to our meeting spot only to see Erratum holding his arm tightly and pain radiating from him. I immediately ran to him to see what made him hurt so much. When I was next to him I saw that it was broken.

''Okay, listen I can heal it but I'll have to touch you in order to do it. Is that alright?'' I asked concerned. He just nodded his head as an answer. I carefully touched his arm as my hands lit up green.

After few minutes his arm was whole again, so I took my hands back.
''Can you tell me what happened?'' I asked softly.
''Let's just say that you should be careful where you open portals to Underfell.'' he said chuckling lightly.

''I think I don't want to know the details.'' I said tiredly. Now it was his turn to get concerned.
''Are you alright? You seem tired.'' he asked.
''Yeah, I just had a fight with Error. Which is always tiring. I just wish he would stop destroying.'' I said with a sigh.

''Maybe he has a reason?'' he asked shyly.
''Why would you think that?'' I asked confused.
''I believe that everyone has a reason to why they do something. Maybe he was forced, maybe he thinks that what he's doing is good, maybe he's just jealous that everyone has an AU but not him. I think everyone has a reason... So maybe you should check what's his reason?'' he said as he was deep in thought.

''You know what? You're right! I will do that the next time I see him! And I'll tell Blue and Ink about it to! *yawn* But first, I'll take a nap.'' I said as my eyes closed on their own.
''Thanks Erratum, *yawn* you're the best.'' I said falling asleep right after.

3 person POV:

The Star Sanses were standing against Error once again, but it was not like any other battle they had with him, this time they were here for some answers. Error had his strings ready, but didn't attack first, he never did. He was surprised that they didn't attack him right away, 'Did Dream told them already?'' he wandered.

''Listen Error we aren't here to fight. We're here to talk.'' Ink said in a stern voice.
''Talk about what squid?'' Error couldn't help to insult Ink at least a little.
''Why do you destroy?'' the colourful skeleton asked.

''Why would I tell you?! The last time I tried you called me a liar and beated me up!'' the destroyer yelled suddenly full of doubt.
''We promise we will listen! Besides I'm here now and I can tell if you're saying the truth or not!'' Dream's soft voice rang out.

''Fine.'' Error said hiding his strings. ''I'm forced to destroy. I used to be a normal Sans before I was ripped away from my world. Locked in the antivoid alone forced to listen to the voices insulting me. It broke me. Corrupted me. And I became what I am now. Then I heard a new voice.

'From now you will be known as destroyer of the world. You will be the creator's yin. You will be hated, starved and tired but I won't allow you to rest.' she said. 'What makes you think that I'll do that?'' I asked her.

She laughed before she answered 'If you don't the whole multivese will collapse. And it will be your fault. You will eather keep the balance or you will be forced to watch it all collapse because of you.'

And so I destroyed. To protect you all from fate worse than death. Even if all I wished for was to just die.'' tears were streaming down his face by the end of it. Ink looked at Dream to see him in similar state.
''His not lying... Oh God... I'm so sorry.'' Dream broke down in tears.

''Pfffhaha... you apologise to much you know? You didn't know. You couldn't know.'' Error said trough tears. Suddenly his eye lights shinked as he screamed in pain. The Star Sanses immediately came to his side asking if he was okay.

''I'm fine. It's just Fate, she doesn't like that I told you the truth.'' He said trough clenched teeth. Ink looked up before shouting at nothing.
''Stop hurting him! You've done this for long enough! I should face the consequences of my actions not him! So just STOP!'' As he finished Error stopped screaming and passed out landing in Dream's hands.

''We should take him to the base to see if he'll be alright. After that I'll ask him how many AU's do I have to destroy before the balance will be stable.'' Ink said in probably the most serious tone that the other two have ever heard him speak.

They nodded and Dream picked up Error bridal style only now noticing that the black boned skeleton was a bit shorter than him. He shook the thought off for now and opened a portal to their base.

He would find a way to make up to Error for all the hurt he've experienced. With a determined look on his face he walked through the portal. That was his promise.

Dream's POV:

It was few hours before Error woke up.
''Are you alright?'' I asked softly.
''Y-yeah.'' He answered shakely.
''What's the last thing you remember?'' I asked him worriedly.
''Pain. A lot of pain. Then Ink yelling... something. And then nothing.'' he answered.

''Well you didn't miss much! Hehe I'll go get Ink do you want anything to eat?'' I said giggling slightly.
''Chocolate. If it's not a problem.'' ha said shyly. I nodded and heeded to the kitchen.

''He's awake.'' I said as I saw Ink inside.
''Phew... That's a relief. I'll go ask him.'' he said before leaving. I went to our sweets cabinet and got few chocolate bars for Error.

''WHAT!?'' Hehe I guess Ink told him. I went back to the living room where Error was lay- well now sitting on the couch.
''I know it's sudden but I have to finally face the consequences. Besides I will not let you go through that torture any more.'' Ink said calmly. I went to them and handed Error the chocolate.

''B-but you can't! You're the creator! Fate will get angry-!'' glitchy skeleton was cut off by Ink.
''Fate will have to accept my choices and stop bullying you for them.'' he said.
''F-fine.'' Error finally gave up and started eating chocolate.

Error's POV:

After I ate the chocolate I stood up.
''I should probably go back to the antivoid.'' I said sadly.
''You don't have to if you don't want to.'' Dream said sweetly.

''Not like I have anywhere else to call 'home'.'' I said.
''You could always stay with us. We have one spare bedroom.'' he said it as if it wouldn't change my whole life.

''You would really let me?!'' I asked shocked.
''Of course. We own you a lot for what we did to you.'' he said smiling softly.
''I g-guess I'll just go and get my stuff.'' I said shyly before opening the portal.

~it's already 1755 words time skip~

Dream's POV:

I was once again in Outertale to meet up with my friend Erratum. I was surprised when I saw him with his hood down he had his back to me but his obsidian black skull remained me of someone.

''Erratum?'' I asked silently. He just waved his now un-gloved hand at me to come closer. But that hand... black to red to yellow, it was even more familiar.

I slowly made my way to him.
''Error.'' I asked.
''Pffhaha... didn't took you long to figure that one out.'' he said his voice glitching more than usual. I sat down next to him.

''I'm sorry I didn't tell you but... I was scared. I didn't tell any other lie besides my name.'' He said as tears made their way down his face, he was still wearing his glasses.

''I... I understand. And you know what? I don't care. I feel in love with you and I know you weren't lying. This doesn't change my feelings for you in any way.'' I said blushing softly.

He blushed soft blue himself before he spoke again.
''I love you too.'' he said looking away. I smiled and made him look me in the eyes and kissed him softly.

Error finally regained his lost hope.
